A wonderful friend ours and of Jesus and His precious preborn children, Father Francis McCloskey, is really going through some very difficult times these past several years.  Please keep him in your prayers.

Please keep Father Francis in your prayers. He was in the hospital last week for five days with a severe urinary tract infection. He was discharged back to Teresian House but in less than 24 hours he was back in the hospital. They are having trouble getting a handle on this infection and controlling the fever. As soon as they try to get him off IV antibiotics and onto antibiotic pills, the fever comes back.

With the dementia, it must be very disorienting to him to be uprooted from familiar surroundings, routines, and people. He is very quiet but alert.

In Him,

Beth

Call from Rusty to join us at our National Event in “The Battle for New Orleans,” July 19-26, 2014, and beyond that to Jackson, Mississippi, July 27-28, and beyond that to “American Chronicles 7:14.”

Hope to see you all in New Orleans as we bring the Gospel of Christ to the very gates of hell. ~ Flip

Dear Champion of the Lord and the Preborn,

As we press on in the vision of our national event in New Orleans and American Chronicles 7:14, each day I search for Biblical and historical prayers to help equip the saints participating in the mission. You can find them on our facebook page.

Three Dates to Mark
Starting July 14-16 are three days set apart for prayer and fasting. The goal is to prepare the way of the Lord in New Orleans. We are praying for a double portion. When OSA came to New Orleans in 1995, there were 8 death camps defiling their land. Today, they are down to one in the city and another one in Metairie just outside of New Orleans. We have some unfinished Kingdom business to complete as we seek the Lord to uproot and overthrow these altars of Moloch.

July 19-26, OSA’s national event in OSA New Orleans. If you cannot make it, please pray for those who will participate in making New Orleans abortion free in Jesus’ name!

July 14 also commences the American Chronicles 7:14 national prayer movement. It ends November 4 at the midterm elections. Each day at 7:14 AM and PM, Christians are called to stop what they are doing to pray for America, the church, and the lost with a special emphasis on deliverance from evil.

Psalms 85:4-7 states, “Restore us, O God of our salvation, And cause Your anger toward us to cease. Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations? Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord and grant us Your salvation.”

This passage of Scripture has been one of my pleas towards God on the behalf of our crooked and perverse nation. Our Founding Fathers spoke of Heaven’s smile upon America. Clearly, our abominations have wiped that smile from His face. Though God is slow to anger, His anger is a clear and present danger to our future and hope. The Psalmist wrestles with this aspect and cries out to God to remember mercy in the midst of His judgments. I believe we should do the same.

We have established our American Chronicles 7:14 Facebook Page. Press on this link to like and share with others. More folks are joining this national prayer movement and we are hearing great testimonies of Christians experiencing the tangible presence of God and overcoming temptations that had easily beset them.

Please pass this vision and mission on in your sphere of influence. Thanks!

American Chronicles 7:14

“If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Recently, Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana signed HB 388. The law has the potential to shut down three of Louisiana’s five remaining abortion clinics. It may even have a negative impact upon Planned Parenthood’s proposed mega center currently under construction.

Providentially, Operation Save America is gearing up for its national event in New Orleans, Louisiana from July 19-26, 2014. Committed Christians throughout America will join with area churches in New Orleans. The three clinics in question just happen to be the ones OSA will visit with the love and truth of Christ.

OSA, through national membership and in partnership with area churches, offers the Gospel, pregnancy counseling, support, and transitional assistance to women in crisis. When OSA first visited New Orleans in 1995, the city housed eight abortion clinics. Today there is one.

To help prepare the way, OSA is calling for three days of fasting and prayer (July 14-16, 2014). At the same time, OSA is seeking to commence a national prayer movement called American Chronicles 7:14. Beginning July 14, 2014 (7-14-14), Christians everywhere are asked to stop and pray for America twice a day (7:14 in the morning and/or 7:14 in the evening). This national prayer movement is set to continue through the midterm elections, which ends November 4, 2014. OSA’s goal is to inspire Christians with a common vision of restoring our country through meeting the righteous requirements set forth in 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas, Assistant to the Director of OSA, is helping to spearhead the New Orleans outreach. According to Thomas, “The great need of the hour is for multitudes with broken and contrite hearts to seek God to deliver our nation from evil. We love our nation and pray that we will return to the God of the Bible, who alone can hear from heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our broken, wounded land. Offering life and hope at abortion clinics is merely our prayers of repentance in action. Together, the church can make a difference.”

The saints in Central Florida have called and asked for our help.  Jay Rogers and Dr. Pat McEwen have invited us to Kissimmee, Florida, to allow the theology of heaven to become biography in the streets of Kissimmee, this June 11-14, 2014.  We will begin with a rally on Wednesday evening, June 11, and depart Saturday afternoon, June 14, 2014.

 More information coming soon.

This article (via LifeSiteNews.com) & this one (via christiannewswire.com) give us a pretty good perspective of what Planned Parenthood is attempting to do in Kissimmee.

This just in from Chet. Please keep Mr. Richard and Miss Melody in your prayers. We will keep you updated.

Whenever Jesus brings Mr. Richard across you mind, breathe a prayer for his complete healing in Jesus’ Name.

In Christian love,

Chet Gallagher reports that Richard Miller is in the hospital with a stroke.  Please ask God to completely heal Richard and to comfort and strengthen Melody.

Update: Thanks to all who prayed for Richard.  Melody said “Yes, he did have a stroke,” but God is soooo good!!!  Richards recovering quickly thanks to the prayers of so many of our church friends, Facebook family and loved ones. Worked on bills last night and doing our Bible reading this morning.

Brandon and Michelle Stewart are surely starting some Gospel fires in Houston at the gates of hell.  The devil and his minions are none too pleased.  But the “Church Triumphant” is shouting Hallelujah!  While the “Church Militant” in Houston is just beginning to awaken from her long, almost comatose, sleep.

Pray for God’s church in Houston, Texas.

Enjoy!

HOPE IN HOUSTON

Remember the old hand exercise we did as kids that said “This is the church. This is the steeple.  Open the doors and see all the people.”

I made a new poem up:
“This is the Church
It needs no steeple
Open the doors and
Go love all the people!”

Awesome day today in Houston.  We brought Malachi and witnessed some amazing things.  We believe in so much more to come.  We had church on the street from sun up to sun down.

A wreck blocked the one way street entrance to Houston Women’s Clinic for over an hour and we were able to minister to the family involved in the wreck.  The woman driving totaled her car on the way home from visiting her husband in the hospital for back surgery.  At the end of the day 8 Christians got to visit this man, Eduardo, and minister with his family in his hospital room.  No one in the car accident was hurt, praise HIS name!

Police removed David our frequent demon possessed atheist from the premises for harassing one of the young ladies with explicit language caught on video.  She is filing a restraining order against him so he can no longer
visit the clinic while she is there.  Pray for favor with the judge who signs the order.

We gave out maybe 40 or 50 Abortion violation pamphlets to cars in the street passing by the clinic after the gates closed.

One carful of people asked if we could come speak to their church about abortion.  Elder Shelby Luke from a baptist church south of Houston is having 500 Sing a Little Louder brochures made to take with him as he visits
churches he goes to while he is traveling for his job!  Wow his whole family x 3 generations were street preaching today with us!

We are in the middle of Word in Warfare Houston.  Saves and more saves are preventing us from accomplishing it sprint style so we are running the WIW marathon style.  Revival!

Neighborhood of Dr Rosenfeld (who was informed today – Brandon said to him as he left the clinic “We’re coming to a neighborhood near you.”). We will be adopting this abortionist next Saturday.  Appreciate prayer.

Got to talking about high school outreach with co laborers in Houston, who are seeming to multiply every week HALLELUJAH.  We will pick a location and go soon.

We are thinking about having a big event again in spring break time so more people can come out and help us.  We hope to have overpasses, as well as the clinics covered.  This is so exciting!

Urgent Update on College Station:

New Islamic Community Center opened up 0.9 miles from my church and 5.4 miles from my house.  They had a sort of grand opening yesterday and there were at least 200 of them in full dress on the streets passing out
literature and giving away free food.  Please pray for my pastor as he leads our congregation and hopefully our community to battle this.  Abortion left our city and Islam slid in.  We did not properly give God recognition
corporately for what happened at Planned Parenthood and our community is now overrun with an equally big evil.  Flip, we really need direction and counsel here.  And LOTS of prayer.  Texas A&M is the 5th largest university in the country and has the biggest international student base of those 5.  I believe there is a “cell” here alive and growing, and getting educated, involved, and taking dominion over properties.  I have felt a stirring about Islam as you may remember for a while but I was not expecting it to pop up this way.  Please pray!  My pastor’s name is Tommy Thompson.  Please pray for him and maybe even call and encourage him if you think about it.  Thank him for allowing Brandon and I to be so free to be effective for the kingdom without judgment from our church authority.  He is an amazing pastor.  Our church phone number is 979-846-0777.  He would be encouraged to hear from the likes of you:).

We love you so much.

Heading to bed very exhausted but in a blessed way!

King Jesus reigns (even at 4820 San Jacinto Houston Tx)!

Michelle

Here is a picture of Shawanda and Michelle Stewart at our national Event in Rochester, and the accompanying story.   Pray!

Michelle

Please pray for Shawanda Corbett. Jeannie and I have gotten to know her and helped her settle in at the college at Rochester Institute of Technology.

She is facing an enormous battle.

Mike

Michelle Stewart asked me to forward this prayer request to the OSA family.  Lets show true love for this young woman by lifting her up to our heavenly Father.  ~B

Our friend Shawanda Corbett from Rochester, who we met at the intersection of Church and State street, is in need of prayer right now.  Some folks might remember her as she came to service with us after coming to The Lord on the street.  She was born without legs and without one arm.  The pictures of abortion really struck her.  She said her parents who already had many children, admitted that if they had known she would be born with birth defects would have aborted her.

Praise The Lord she is living for the King now!  She is involved in ministry on campus at RIT, keeps up with me, and gets together with Mike and Jeannie from Rescue Rochester.  She is an amazing woman who miraculously does ceramics with incredible skill, and with one hand at that!

She is going through some serious health problems at the moment, and while I won’t go into detail for her privacy’s sake, she needs prayer for discernment and faith.  Fear of the unknown is a big battle in the next stage of her treatment.

I am privileged to know her, as she keeps my spiritual walk in check.

Sometimes my problems seem big, but then I talk to this amazing woman who is beating so many odds every day when she gets up and gets going.

Pray for protection from fear, provision for medical expenses, equipment, and treatment, and for peace while she undergoes scary and possibly painful procedures.  Pray that the doctors will treat her as the miracle she already is, and that compassionate nurses cross her path.  Pray also that she can minister to others going through this particular disease as well.

Be encouraged family!  Shawanda is fruit of our OSA labors, and I am so excited that she not only is going to Heaven with us, but she is helping us advance the Kingdom through her unique ministry!

Here we are in Rochester at one of the services.

We all had a great leadership meeting here in snowy Charlotte, NC, earlier this month – and what a meeting it was! We stormed the gates of hell at two high schools, three abortion mills, and three abortionist’s neighborhoods.  Best of all, we planned our way allowing God to direct our steps as we strategized to allow the theology of heaven to become biography in the streets of our cities this new year.  Below is Rusty’s report of our meeting with maybe a special surprise.

Enjoy!

Dear Champion of the Lord and the Preborn,

Operation Save America Leadership Meeting 2014

“Plans are established by counsel; by wise counsel wage war” (Proverbs 20:18).

What an adventure the annual leadership meeting turned out to be for Operation Save America. Leaders from all across America braved the ice storm as they made their way to Kannapolis, NC to discuss the New Year and storm the gates of hell. There is great glory when the saints get together to love God and serve His purposes. Though there were many obstacles to overcome, our time in North Carolina proved beneficial.

The traveling, however, was still treacherous. Most of the time the highway was a parking lot with little or no movement. Thousands of abandoned cars and trucks were scattered along the Interstate. Some of them parked on the actual highway lanes in all directions. Several trucks and trailers jackknifed and there were several accidents. A lot of people were stranded, hunkering down in their cars, convenient stores, and other places. To God be the glory, the OSA saints pressed on and made it safe to fulfill our appointed time together.

MINISTRY TIME

The ministry of God’s word, as usual, was rich. We feasted upon God’s truth to renew our devotion to Him and the just cause to end the American holocaust. Rev. Flip Benham, Pastor Keith Tucci, and other anointed men of God addressed the gathering to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry. We discussed our national event in New Orleans from July 19-26, 2014, the States of Refuge campaign, and two new ministry opportunities. More on that later. We enjoyed great fellowship, meals, and outreaches on the streets of North Carolina.

STREET ACTIVITIES

Our time together also consisted of taking the Gospel of the Kingdom to the highways and byways as our Lord commanded. Each morning we split up into teams and went to different gates of the city. The first morning we went to two high schools. We set up signs, passed out Christian/Pro-life literature, and preached the Gospel on portable sound systems. The first school had limited access to the students, but we did the best we could under the circumstances.

The second school afforded us greater access to the students and for the most part we were well received. Very few students refused the tracts. The police, however, were called out and gave some of our preachers a warning about the city’s sound ordinance. Everyone, except one, for some reason I was not included in the warning.

I was a couple of minutes into the message explaining why we were there at the high school, when a police officer noticed the sound system. My text was Romans 6:23, which states, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” The essence of the message connected the signs we held to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The first sign we showed was the picture of Malachi, which means, “My messenger.”

This sign revealed the horrific reality of abortion. It demonstrated the graphic nature of this cruel act perpetrated by the sin and crime of abortion against children made in God’s image. In this, we witnessed the wages of sin, which is death.

On the other hand, we held live baby signs, which revealed the “gift of God is eternal life.” One sign points out what happens to a nation that violates God’s laws. It is ugly, horrible, and leads to death, both physical and eternal. The other sign points out what happens to nations that honor God’s law. It is beautiful.

Once the police officer saw me, however, he turned on his lights, whipped his car around, jumped out, and aggressively moved towards the portable sound system. He ripped it from my hands and without a warning wrote up a citation. Apparently, he was upset about our presence at the high school. After receiving the citation, I shook his hand and blessed him in the name of the Lord.

The citation demanded a return on March 6th for a court trial. Instead of making the long trip back to North Carolina, I opted to pay a fine. In the long run, it was a much cheaper option, though the injustice remains.

The next day our teams went to two death camps and three neighborhoods of abortionists. The Scriptures teach, “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them” (Ephesians 5:11). Exposure became the order of the day. We exposed the truth and love of God to those lost in sin, darkness, and despair at the death camps. We also exposed the abortionists in their neighborhoods. The saints came back with many testimonies on how the Lord used our feeble attempts to love our neighbor as ourselves, advance the Kingdom, and expose this grave evil to set the captive free.

There was no small stir on our team, which consisted of Doc Johnston, his precious family, and a new couple who joined us at our leadership meeting. The couple set up signs at the entrance of the neighborhood, while Doc’s children passed out flyers in the neighborhood. Doc and I went to the abortionist, Jimmy Isaac Newton’s home. Unfortunately, he was not at home.

While Doc wrote a note to him calling him to repent and provide a way out through the Gospel to end his sinful activity of child murder, I noticed a couple filming us. After we went back to his home and dropped off the note, we addressed the couple. We explained why we were there and the man responded, “Go back to Virginia from whence you came.” We responded, “How do you know we are from Virginia.” Doc told him that he was from Ohio and I was from Texas. From there, we ministered the Gospel to them. As we preached, we both became aware that the man was brandishing a gun. Interestingly enough, the Gospel proved more powerful than the gun. They ran off telling us that they had called the police. Instantly, we became the church on the run. We packed up everybody and made it back safely to the camp for more meetings. Thanks be to God!

BOMBSHELL

“Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, But who can find a faithful man” (Proverbs 20:6)?

About a month prior to the leadership meeting, brother Flip called me. We exchanged some small talk for awhile and then Flip got to the main reason for his call. Though I heard what he was saying, it was difficult to comprehend. I had to ask him to repeat what he was communicating to me. Even then, it was hard to accept what he was saying.

In the middle of our time together at our leadership meeting, Brother Flip Benham dropped the bomb he mentioned to me in our conversation previously. Though I knew was coming, it still took my breath away. Flip announced that after 20 years of faithful service he was stepping down as national director of Operation Rescue/Operation Save America.

The response in the room was similar to mine. Some could hardly believe it, while others choked back the tears. Others suspected this day would come, but still struggled with the reality that Flip was stepping down.

During my conversation with Flip prior to the meeting, he also asked me to take his place as national director of Operation Rescue/Operation Save America. To be honest, the thought never entered my mind. For twenty years, the Lord called me to be a friend to Flip and serve him as assistant director. My only purpose was to stay faithful to the Lord in that capacity.

After he announced this to the leaders, he had me address the gathering. I have not to this point accepted the position, but asked the leaders to join me in prayer and then call me with their counsel. This report is now going out to a greater audience and my request remains. Would you please pray for Flip, OSA, and my family as we seek the Lord’s will in this crucial matter.

Our national event in New Orleans, LA from July 19-26, will be the last event Flip will lead the charge as national director of OSA. I admonish everyone who has been a part of OSA in times past to please try and make it to New Orleans. The Bible says we should give honor to whom honor is due (Romans 13:7). It is proper and fitting that we honor the man of God who has stood so faithful in the battle for the souls of men, the lives of children, and the future of our nation. Hope to see you there.

Attached here is the obituary of our brother, fellow laborer, and fellow soldier of the cross of Christ, Skip Spurlock.  Many of you did not know Skip as I had the privilege of knowing him, but you know his wife of fifty-one years, Brenda.  Yep, Miss Brenda!  What an extraordinary lady and what a God glorifying family they have given to us.  The family did most of the home-going service with Pastor Gary Coleman, a longtime friend of Jesus’ precious preborn children, officiating.

Below please find the email I sent to Miss Brenda upon hearing of Skip’s passage into the arms of Jesus.  The section of Scripture I shared with her has often been a great source of encouragement to me.

Thank you Jesus for the absolute certainty of the resurrection!  Goodnight for now Skip – We will see you in the morning!

Dear Miss Brenda,

We are so sorry to hear the news of Skip’s passing.  He is rejoicing with Jesus and things a very well with him.  But I am sure that things are a little different with you on this side of heaven.  We love you and are praying for you, the kids, and grandkids.  Faye and I received the news late last night from Dorrie.

Just got off the phone with you this morning and God gave me a few verses of Scripture for you.  He revealed to Martha, for the first time ever, a truth that He could not reveal to Mary.  Mary was offended perhaps that Jesus had not come to be with her brother Lazarus during his time of sickness.  But Martha’s theology and faith brought her to Jesus and she, before anyone else on earth, received this amazing truth:

“Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou had been here, my brother had not died.  But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.  Jesus said unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.  Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life:  he that beliveth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.  And whosoever liveth, and believeth in me, shall never die.  Believest thou this?  She saith unto him, Yea Lord I believe that thou art the Christ the Son of God, which should come into the world.”  John 11: 21-27.

Yes, the very same Martha whom Jesus chastised for being worried about many things and not taking the best part like her sister Mary, was the one to whom he revealed this incredible truth.  Her strong and true theology brought her to Him.  She was not offended, no matter the woes the world could bring upon her.  Mary came to him only later and, even then, had to be coaxed.

Amazing!

We love you Miss Brenda!

Please find Mike Warren and Jerry Crawford’s call to repentance, fasting, and prayer for our National Event in Rochester, New York, this July 24–31, 2013.  We were born for such a time as this.  Let us run the race marked out for us in the wonderful Name of Jesus.  The gates of hell cannot prevail against God’s prevailing church.

Repent!  Fast!  Pray!       ~   Flip

National Event in Rochester, NY – Mike Warren’s Invitation

Rochester, NY has been chosen for Operation Save America’s 2013 National prolife event.  The event will be here in Rochester, NY – July 24 – 30 (each night from 6:30 – 9:00 pm) in our Historic Sanctuary at Bethel Christian Fellowship, 321 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14604.  Due to the current national and statewide debate over abortion, national media and governmental attention is being given to this event.  The need for a unified prayerful response of the people of God is great.

Isaiah 60:1-3 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising…. In NY, it is quite obvious that that we are living out the gross darkness spoken of in these verses and the cause of this darkness spoken of in the previous chapter, Isaiah 59. Just in this past year; the homosexual agenda being trumpeted as normal and courageous, the killing of children in the womb is touted as necessary to insure a woman’s equality, and the dissing of Christianity in the public eye by powerful government officials is becoming more and more normal.    Isaiah 59:14-15 “And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.”  Read all of Isaiah 59 – let the Holy Spirit motivate you to take appropriate action.

Operation Save America will begin in earnest July 24th and in preparation the leadership of OSA has called for days of fasting and prayer from July 15-17th. We realize that the challenges we face in Rochester and our home state of New York are spiritual in nature. The enemies of the Gospel, in the guise of protecting a woman’s civil right to privacy, have sought to censor the Gospel of Christ from local abortion mills.

Just last week OSA and Rescue Rochester received notice that the NYS Attorney General’s Office of Civil Rights wants to remind us (intimidate us) to toe its capricious line. Bible believing Christians are increasingly becoming second class citizens while every other group seeking to promote its vile and abhorrent behavior is held up as an example of diversity and tolerance. This is especially true in the current culture in NYS.

But our foe is not the abortionist, the judges that rule to remove the preaching of gospel from these places, not the lawyers, clinic workers or any human being. Come expecting a battle. Come with your spiritual armor in totally refitted and in place.

Our wrestling is with the unseen forces of evil loosed on our city and nation by our own weakness in bringing an effective and consistent presentation of Jesus to the public square. Because we have not been the salt and light our city and state we find ourselves in a tight spot. Read Isaiah 59 and let the Lord work His perspective into your soul as we prepare to engage a spiritual foe in Rochester, NY. First let Him work the gift of repentance into your heart over the sins we hid embrace. Take these days to fast and pray as you can; then to ask Him to help us be who he has made us to be. It is not a time to point the finger at others but rather a time to let the Holy Spirit work the change of repentance and transformation in us as the Church of our city and be Isaiah 60:1-3.

Join with us over July 15-17 to fast and pray and seek His face as we prepare for what God will do in the city of Rochester. Then join us at Bethel Christian Fellowship for a Solemn Assembly of Prayer and Repentance Wednesday July 24th at 6:30 PM as we start OSA/ROC 2013.

In Jesus,

Mike Warren and Jerry Crawford
