Dear Friends:

As we stood at the gates of George Tiller’s abortion center last Tuesday morning awaiting the women that would be arriving for the gruesome procedure of a late term abortion on their babies, we were ecstatic when we noticed that the employees of Mr. Tiller had not arrived, and, most wonderful, no women were coming in!

We continued to wait, praying that no women would drive through the gates into George Tiller’s abortuary on this bright, sunny Tuesday morning.  

God answered our prayers and no women ever came in that Tuesday!

Not only that, the abortion center was closed the next day which was Wednesday, closed Thursday and Friday!

Leroy Carhart, the late term abortionist from Nebraska was the scheduled abortionist for that week, and we knew they were scheduled to be open for their deadly business, so we knew God was doing a great thing for the abortion center to be closed for the week!

On Friday evening, KAKE news reported that George Tiller had turned himself into the Sedgwick County sheriff’s office for processing regarding nineteen misdemeanor counts.  He was later released on his own recognizance.

Attorney General Paul Morrison alleges Tiller broke the law by consulting in 2003 on late term abortions with a doctor who had business ties to him.  A 1998 law requites two doctors to sign off on late term abortion procedures.  It says those physicians cannot have financial or legal ties, according to the associated press.
                                                                                    
Tiller’s attorney’s entered a plea of not guilty on Tiller’s behalf, which changed the original court appearance which was to be Tuesday August 7th, and will be held on Friday, August 10th.

Of course on Friday, Tiller’s attorneys plan is to take up a defense motion to dismiss the charges.  They are challenging the constitutionality of the Kansas law on late-term abortions.

In the meantime, Tiller’s abortion center issued a statement that the center will be temporarily closed!
So, for almost two weeks, there has been no shedding of innocent blood in Wichita!

We give all glory, honor and praise to the King of King’s and Lord of Lord’s, Jesus Christ!

We would ask all of you to please pray that truth will prevail in the court room this Friday, the 10th of August.  Secondly, we ask that all of us pray that George Tiller’s abortuary will remain closed for good!  To God be the glory for HE has done great things!
