This is one big happy family because this young mom (17) changed her mind and gave life to her baby. Little Jamie Edison was born a few weeks early on Tuesday Sept. 25th and weighed in at 5lbs. 14oz. Yesterday Wendee and Brenda helped by giving her a baby shower at Grace Baptist Church. She received some nice presents and we had a good time of fellowship sharing the love of the Lord with them. Please keep this young mom in your prayers.

As we do our OSA daily reading schedule today the Lord says: I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who tremble at my word. But those who choose their own ways, delighting in their sins, are cursed. I will send great troubles against them -- all the things they feared. For when I called, they did not answer. When I spoke, they did not listen. They deliberately sinned -- before my very eyes -- and chose to do what they know I despise. (Isaiah 66)

So put to death the sinful earthly things, lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual sin, impurity. lust and shameful desires. Don't be greedy for the good things of this life for that is idolatry. Now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander and dirty language. Don't lie to each other because you have stripped off your old evil nature and all its wicked deeds. (Colossians 3) AMEN!

Take heed to the word of God, and fulfill the purpose and plan that God has for your life.  Obey the command to rescue the innocent from slaughter and join us each Tuesday and Friday 7:30am - 10am as we reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be. We will be there until the killing stops! If not us, then who? If not now, then when? We are the Body of Christ. He is our head. We are His hands, His feet, His mouthpiece on the earth............until He returns, which I hope is very soon.
