The boys know, and have known most of their lives, that they have been born for a battle. It is a battle, described for us in Genesis 3:15, between two seeds – the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman. The seed of the serpent demands, “My rights, my body, my choice, my thing! I do what I want whenever and wherever I want. I am the captain of my ship, the master of my fate – I am God, hear me roar! And my one commandment is, ‘Don’t judge me.’”
The flip side of this, is the seed of the woman who cries out from the pages of the Bible, “Not my will but Thine be done. I am were bought with a price, I am not my own, therefore I glorify God in my body. My body does not belong to me – it belongs to God. The gifts and talents he has given me are to be given away to others, just like a fruit tree bears fruit, not for itself, but for others to be nourished and refreshed. And I am called to judge, ‘…a spiritual man makes judgments about all things’ 1 Cor 2:15.
Yes, much to the chagrin of the world and the devil, I am called to make distinctions between that which is good and that which is evil. Our measure or standard, is the Word of God. He is the Judge and we are simply delivering His mail – and you got mail!”
The boys have been faithful to deliver the mail in these past two weeks. Please keep them in your prayers.
