Just One Little Life - A Message of Hope

The following testimony is an encouragement to let all believers know that if you have faith and persevere and in true Christian love, God can turn around what the devil meant for harm and use it for good.
This is always the hardest time of year to be a lifesaver outside this deathcamp. It was always so special to see pregnant women or be pregnant at this time of year. But sadly, nowadays, children are considered a curse rather than a blessing. Do you realize the first gift that God gave the world was a baby? His name was Jesus. He was born in a manger and died on a cross for our sins so that one day we may live with Him in eternity.
“But to all who received Him, who believed in His name, He gave power to become children of God.” John 1:12.
We met Kelly this past spring; her former boyfriend had requested our assistance in saving his child’s life. It appeared to be a hopeless situation as the overwhelmed mother was unmarried, had one child already, an immature boyfriend, and was pregnant. She felt abortion was her only option. But, we gave it our best shot. Desperate measures were underway. We increased our prayer network and sent a care package to her that contained a post-abortive tract from a young woman who regretted her abortion, a little model of a 10 week old fully formed baby, and a letter basically saying, “Please don’t do it, God loves you and the baby.”

Please read through these materials. God loves you and your baby. He wants the best for you, and that baby. You can’t get that baby back, it will haunt you the rest of your life. That little innocent baby girl or boy in your womb, is as precious as your little daughter. You can’t get this baby back; many women regret their abortions. There are many people who love you Kelly and want to help you.
Actual signs:
  We talked and pleaded with her. We placed several signs around her small town that she would see praying that it would prick her conscience, to let her baby live. The next day “special forces” arrived moments before her scheduled abortion appointment at the infamous Granite City mill. We stood strategically outside this deathcamp. Again we softly pleaded mercy for her innocent unborn baby, as she and an accomplice crossed over enemy lines and were ushered into the abortion mill by lurking staff. We didn’t give up as we know this is a spiritual battle. Intervention team members joined us on the sidewalk as we prayed for divine intervention. After a while, we realized our worst thoughts may be happening behind those bloody cinder-block walls.
Several weeks later, we saw her at the county fair and to our surprise, she was obviously pregnant, Praise God! This past fall she contacted us, apologized for her past behavior, and shared her story with us and took us up on our offers of support and help. She was in much need of encouragement and we found out the father of the baby is not fulfilling his role and responsibility. There are always two sides to a story and a relationship we found out. We purchased a crib, other supplies, and some gift cards and Daniel and the children delivered everything in the nick of time to a very teary eyed and grateful expectant mom.
This past week a beautiful baby girl was born, 6lbs. 4oz. She was so happy and thankful. We praised God for this happy ending.
God has blessed our efforts with 2,570 babies saved since January 2000. How many more little boys and girls scheduled to die could be saved due to lifesavers caring enough to get a little uncomfortable and putting their shoulder to the plow?
Pregnant, confused, desperate, and frightened sound familiar? Over 2000 years ago a young girl named Mary found herself in the same situation, different circumstances. Through the Lord she gave the world its first gift: the baby Jesus. There are many more mothers out there. We should be less worried about what people think about us and more concerned about what God sees of us. Especially when abortionists are considered heroes and the act of abortion is called a blessing. Women need love, not abortion.
John 14:18-19 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see Me anymore, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live.”
