Sanctity of Life Sunday - 1/20/2008

Bridgeport1One of the young moms brought her "saved" baby to our church fellowship Sunday, all the kids were loving on this precious little boy that was spared from the abortionist's knife.

Hector did an awesome teaching on "The Precious Gift of Life" and our attorney, Michael DePrimo, gave us a rundown on pro-life legal issues across the nation.

Pastor Miller of Gospel Light Church led the event.Ten pastors were present and spoke.
They were Pastor Miller and Pastor Pedro Vazquez from Bridgeport, Pastor Les Young from Voluntown, CT and Pastor Ron Nugent from Wolcott, CT. Also, Pastors Dave McIntyre, Randy Matthews and John Roy from Calvary Church in Trumbull. Pastor Bob Hoyt from Seymour and Pastor Rich Flashman from Monroe. Last but not least, Fr Francis McCloskey all the way from Albany, New York! The pastors called the Church to take responsibility and not sit idly by. Fr. Francis led us in spiritual warfare with the scriptures. Like Pastor Flip always says "Abortion will end in America when the Church of Jesus Christ decides she wants it to end...........and not one minute sooner."

The Pivot Ministries men's choir performed some gospel songs.

When Pastor Miller was praying someone said to look up in the sky. The clouds separated and there was a formation that looked like a womb -- we don't know if it was a sign from God - but it was timely.
One of the moms gave her testimony about choosing life and choosing Jesus instead of abortion.
There were over 75 people there. All went well at the event as we repented and remembered our tiny brothers and sisters that have been murdered by abortion.

During the memorial very few women went in to kill their babies. From what we saw:
EIGHT MOMS CAME TO ABORT.
THREE TURNED AWAY.
FIVE BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

Please join us each Friday and Tuesday as we try to rescue the innocent from slaughter. Don't stand back and pretend you did not know for your Father in Heaven will judge you according to your action. Faith without works is dead. Be the voice for the voiceless. They need us.

About Operation Rescue/Operation Save America
Operation Rescue/Operation Save America unashamedly takes up the cause of preborn children in the name of Jesus Christ. We employ only biblical principles. The Bible is our foundation; the Cross of Christ is our strategy; the repentance of the Church of Jesus Christ is our ultimate goal. As the Church changes its heart toward unborn children, God Himself will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and bring healing to our land.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only answer to the abortion holocaust. It is upon our active repentance in the streets of our cities that the Gospel is visibly lived out. We become to the church, to our city, and to our nation living parables which rightly represent God's heart toward His helpless children.

There are no cheap political solutions to the holocaust presently ravaging our nation. Like slavery before it, abortion is preeminently a Gospel issue. The Cross of Christ is the only solution.
