WHAT DRIPPING WATER CAN DO
He wanted to do something for the Kingdom's sake. and was told by someone "this is what it will take." He was to climb the mountain and get this message to the King: "I want to work, for The Kingdom. I will do anything!" The message was delivered, and this answer came back:
Take this pot, with a hole in it, and a very small crack, and bring water from the river and put it in My well. That will bless My Kingdom, where one day you will dwell.
He obediently set to work and he worked tirelessly, day after day, and he worked endlessly. He could see no progress, but he continued to labor, for he had been taught to help and to love your neighbor.
Month after month and year after year, he remembered his orders which in his mind were still very clear. Fifty years later her laid down and died, and when he got to Heaven Jesus stood by his side saying "Welcome, My brother. I'm glad you came back. You were faithful to the little things and you stayed on track."
"But," said this dear soul:"I did nothing worthwhile, I just carried a little water mile after mile." Jesus answered, and said: "You've done a great deal, that barren mountain has become a great field of vegetation, of grass, flowers and trees, where animals find homes, along with the bees. Go, now, to your mansion, which is your reward, for you faithful, service, that you've looked toward, which few ever achieve, because they were too self-seeking, whereas you gave your all, which, now, you'll be reaping!"
Paul Paulson
I can relate to this story and I want all of you that have been faithful in the past years to be encouraged. I remember in January of 1990, I prayed the same prayer. I told God I would do what ever he wanted me to do. Ever since I have been in front of the baby killing center in Bridgeport pleading with women to not kill their babies along with hundreds, maybe thousands of other saints that have come and gone. Only a few have remained faithful to the call. Stan Scott has been there the longest, probably 30 years and he is now 82 years old. I say all this not to boast but to encourage. In the past 18+ years 1792 babies have been saved and 366 salvations. All the glory goes to God. We have had the honor and privilege co-labor with Him. When God's word says to "rescue the innocent from slaughter, don't stand back and let them die, etc." Proverbs 24:10-12, do you think it might apply to babies being killed at abortion mills all over our nation? Right in your own community?
For the Least of These,
