We had such a blessing this weekend by having Flip come into town and storm the gates of hell with us.  Our venture began with a stop into the missionary work of “Jesus Christ Miracle Power Ministries” located in uptown New Orleans.  Flip brought forth a powerful and challenging word for the Church of Jesus Christ, and then that afternoon we took theology and made it biography at the gates of hell!  We gave them Jesus and the people responded … two souls gave their hearts to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and four women chose life for their babies, Glory to Jesus!  This is not just any normal murder mill, not that any are, but this clinic once held the praises of God in its walls before Katrina shut it down. The owners then sold it out to the devil himself, and it now houses four doctors who kill little baby boys and girls.  When the Church refuses to make her stand in the streets, then hell will have its fury inside the four walls of the Church, and we then portray the Gospel as something weak and defeated.  But thanks be to God when the Church (which, by the way, is not made up of a building, but of people who lay down their lives for the cause) shows up, and then we bruise the devil’s head and render Satan defeated!

We were not done with Flip yet.  The next day, after bringing the Gospel to the abortion clinic in Metairie, we treated Flip to a world of food not of this planet … a good ol’ Cajun “Crawfish Boil”  including 50 lbs of blue crabs, 560 lbs of crawfish, all sorts of fixins’, and, of course, two “Trash Can Turkeys”!   We scarred Flip with “shock and awe” of some good ol’ Louisian’ cooking!  Over 200 people came from all around, and we ministered to them the love of Christ and planted seed that came forth the next day … for that very Sunday morning, Flip gave to the Church the TRUE message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The Church was filled to capacity with people from King Jesus Ministries, visitors from the neighborhood, and Pastor Bill Shanks who received a word during his worship service to join us and showed up with his sheep of New Covenant Fellowship, all hungering for the Word.  Two people gave their hearts to Christ at the beginning of an awesome altar call, and over 50 more responded to the second, a calling of accountability to the reading of the Word of God daily!  GLORY to Jesus!   Thank you brother Flip for coming and standing where few stand and proclaiming the true Gospel of Jesus Christ!  We also look forward to having you next year at our annual “Crawfish Boil”!
