Ministry Update and Street Reports for OSA-CT

We are back in the great U.S.A. after spending two weeks with our brother Marco and sister Joan Caiani in Italy! We had an awesome trip, they were so gracious to us. We saw most of Italy except the far south portion. The best thing we saw was Michelangelo's paintings in the Sistine Chapel.

Sad to say the morality in Italy is worse than ours. Just looking at the billboards, the stands on the streets and the behavior of people on the streets displays an ungodly standard. In spite of this the abortion situation is better than ours. The Italian doctors really try to discourage all abortions and try to talk their patients out of it. New doctors in training and getting out of school don't want anything to do with killing babies.

It was beautiful to visit the land of my grandparents but I thank God they came to America and we live in this great country. I know America is on the slippery slope too but we need to fight for our nation's soul! There is no country in the world comparable to this great nation. We have an enemy who wants to steal this land from us, we as Christians must fight for Jesus and for the virtues our forefathers brought here as they founded "one nation under God."

It is also very expensive for Americans to visit Italy because the value of the US dollar is dwindling thanks to our economy. It cost $1.60 to buy one euro.

Please keep our brother and sister Marc and Joan in prayer. Pray for a kidney for Joan and pray for wisdom and guidance for what God would have them to do. It is very hard to do street ministry there so they are confined mostly to holding bible studies to draw the lost to Christ. We did give out lots of tracts there in our country wide travels.

More news in the ministry, our brother Al Vazquez has taken a job in Philadelphia, PA. He will be commuting there during the week and coming home on weekends for now. Only the Lord knows whats in store. Please keep the Vazquez family in prayer too, as the Lord leads them. Al shared that there is a Planned Parenthood near his new job and he saw a lady on the street with signs. He stopped and went to talk to her and told her what we do here. He said he would join her on the morning they abort before he goes to work. PTL! God is already opening doors for ministry there!

Another praise report is from my nephew Tony. I had given him a LoveMatters.com newspaper for teens that tells the truth about abortion. One of his friends was pregnant and contemplating abortion, He gave her the paper to read and told her it was murder. She changed her mind and is keeping her baby. She had an ultra sound and found out its a little boy. You never know how God will use a piece of literature to save a life. Spread the news and give prolife pamphlets to everyone you know. You never know when you may meet someone in a crisis pregnancy situation and you can share the truth with them.

Another praise report from Brenda. This Saturday there was a salvation at Planned Parenthood in New Haven and last Friday when Carmen and I were both absent from the mill, three babies were saved by those who held down the fort (Brenda, Jennie & Gloria). Three babies were saved in a twenty minute time span. The Holy Spirit will use whoever shows up to do His work!

See all the dead babies, this is why we have to go out to the streets!

April 2008 Count - 97 dead babies, 13 babies saved, 11 turn-aways. 

So as of April 30th - 1765 total babies saved since 1990, 366 salvations, 39 babies saved this year.   

Friday, April 25 - 17 pro-lifers. 26 moms came to kill, four changed their minds, two turnaways.

19 babies left to die.

Tuesday, April 29 - 18 pro-lifers. 15 moms came to kill. 15 babies left to die.

Friday, May 2 - 19 pro-lifers. 12 moms came to kill, three changed their minds, two turn-aways.

7 babies left to die.

Tuesday, May 6 - 15 pro-lifers. 11 moms came to kill, 2 turned away. 9 dead babies. 9 babies left to die.

Friday, May 9  - 21 pro-lifers. 14 moms came to kill, 3 turned away, 11 babies left to die.

Yesterday we were blessed to have John Reyes join us at our OSA-CT Canaan Church service. He was with his wife, Kim, his son Stephen and his daughter, Evangeline. John is one of our very own sidewalk counselors from way back. I met John through my son, Anthony. He brought John to church and John has been one of us since way back in the early 90's, We have a lot of fond memories ministering on the streets of Bridgeport. In the Foran High School yearbook they called Anthony "the Preacher", now John is the preacher and technically a reverend. He graduated from Liberty University and got a degree in biblical studies. He is presently living in North Carolina, right next door to our national director and pastor, Flip Benham. 

So please join us each Tuesday and Friday as we reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be. If not now, then when? If not us, then who? We are the Body of Christ. Jesus is our head, commander in chief, we are His body, soldiers for our Lord. We plan to be there, 3787 Main St. until the killing stops.
