THE STREETS, BRIDGEPORT, CT - AUGUST 5TH, 8TH AND 12TH, 2008

Baby saved a few years agoSee this precious little girl above in the picture? Well, Tuesday when we were at the mill her mom called me over to her car and said "See that little girl back there, she would not be here if it wasn't for you.....you stopped me from getting an abortion years ago." Well Praise be to our God, that He allows us to be co-laborers with Him as we come out to the streets to save lives and souls for Him. We have their phone number and I hope they will come to church so we can disciple them. Please keep them in your prayers (Denise and Bianca). God is so good to let us see some of the "fruit of our labor."

On that day, a twelve year old girl was brought in with her mom. Her mom was very angry when we tried to talk to her. We know the girl was because one of the other clients overheard them talking in the waiting room. Thank God they left, I don't know what happened because the mom did not want to talk to us.

On Tuesday, August 5th, the first save was a woman in a SUV. Wendy asked on the driver's side "Did you change your mind?". Christina said "yes" and tears filled her eyes. I  got her number and we invited her to church. She said she was worried about not having enough money. I gave her the resource list and told her there is lots of help available, including us. I told her God's promise in His word that if you choose life, God will bless you but if you choose death, it brings a curse. She said she did not feel right in the abortion mill. She said it felt weird in there. She said she was a 7th Day Adventist, please pray for her and her mate. He was driving the car.

The second save that day was a couple I approached that walked from across the street. They are Puerto Rican. They stopped in front of the mill and listened. Albert spoke more to me because his English was better. I called Carmen to come and speak Spanish to them. (thank God for Carmen!) Luz understood English but did not speak it well. He has been in this country seven years and she has been here three. Carmen left the mill early with them and I met them at White's Diner. I witnessed to him about salvation and he said someone on the train pointed him out and told him God sent him over to speak to him. I said its no mistake you met us here, God is trying to get a hold of you both. They already have two girls, one 18 months and one five months. They both have such sweet spirits. We talked a lot about Jesus. He said he used to go to a Baptist church in Puerto Rico. They want to come to church and make a public proclamation of their faith and dedicate their two daughters to the Lord. Please pray that this comes to fruition and the enemy does not hinder them.

Join us each Tuesday and Friday morning at 3787 Main Street, Bridgeport, as we reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be. We plan on being there until the killing stops! if not us, then who? If not now, then when? We are the body of Christ, equipped by the Holy Spirit to do the work of our Father. Just show up and see what he will do!

For the Least of These,

About Operation Rescue/Operation Save America
Operation Rescue/Operation Save America unashamedly takes up the cause of preborn children in the name of Jesus Christ. We employ only biblical principles. The Bible is our foundation; the Cross of Christ is our strategy; the repentance of the Church of Jesus Christ is our ultimate goal. As the Church changes its heart toward unborn children, God Himself will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and bring healing to our land.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only answer to the abortion holocaust. It is upon our active repentance in the streets of our cities that the Gospel is visibly lived out. We become to the church, to our city, and to our nation living parables which rightly represent God's heart toward His helpless children.

There are no cheap political solutions to the holocaust presently ravaging our nation. Like slavery before it, abortion is preeminently a Gospel issue. The Cross of Christ is the only solution.
