He is so, "perfect" and beautiful  Rather surreal...Baby Shamus outside the killing place that would have taken his life approximately one year ago. You can see Presidential's Women's Centers' name in the foreground. Mom stopped today excited to see us. Mom called out, "Dunno if you remember me...'bout a year ago I was here and you stopped me - look in the back seat! He is perfect!" As I recall...Mom was overwhelmed with children she inherited with her marriage and an 8 month old they had together. Money was not the issue. Feeling she had not a moment to herself and no sleep and contemplating more diaper duty etc., etc., etc. was the issue. Mom felt overwhelmed. However, this is one HAPPY Mommy at this point in time! I recall that I was grateful in 2007 when the women were there praying as part of 40 Days for Life. One woman had 8 children and another 5. They attempted to assure Mom that she will survive motherhood. Again, today one would not know what mom had contemplated in her darkest moment.
