We had a wonderful weekend with Pastor Flip and Father Francis. They came in Thursday night, Flip from Charlotte and Fr from Albany. Friday morning we ministered on the streets of Bridgeport at the Summit Center at 3787 Main Street. Friday night we had a bible study by Pastor Flip and Fr Francis led the praise and worship.

In the above pix you can see Fr Francis holding the crucifix wrapped up that he uses as he recites the scriptures. In the background you can see a group of the pro-life saints ministering to a mom contemplating abortion.
Saturday we all went to Planned Parenthood on 345 Whitney Ave. It was a bit chilly - but we survived. One mom that was going in spoke very little English, she was Hispanic. Colbi thought quickly and called Carmen on her cell phone. Poor Carmen was home sick in bed and sleeping but she got up and was able to talk to this young mom. We were all praying and interceding for them. At one point we saw tears coming down her cheeks, Nancy went to her car to get tissues. When the conversation was over I took the phone and Carmen told us she changed her mind and was going to keep the baby. WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE THIS IS! Carmen loved her enough to tell her the about her sin and that she needed to fear God not man. She has a very difficult situation so please pray for her. Her name is Sulma. We gave her wipes and food cards for diapers for the baby she has at home. One of the other prolifers gave her a hand knitted baby blanket. You can see the peace she had after and she knew she had made the right decision. PTL!
While we were on the street in New Haven, two pastors/elders came rushing by with signs to put on Whitney Ave for their FAIR at their church. I tried to talk to them and asked them if they knew babies were being killed right down the street from them at PP. They just smiled and nodded and I said "Maybe some people from your church can come out here and pray" and one of the men said " I think they do." Well, Pastor Flip went down to visit them at the corner next block - this is the same church that has jazzercise on Saturday mornings while babies are being torn apart limb by limb just houses away from them. They told Pastor Flip that they support Planned Parenthood. He asked them how they could knowing they kill little boys and girls there. Their answer was "well, they do a lot of good things, too." This is the American church. This is why our country is upside down. The Church is not setting the standard that God has outlined in his holy word. This is the spirit of prostitution that Pastor Flip taught on. The prostitute wipes her mouth and says she has done nothing wrong. Just like the Church in America. We are in the battle of our lives.... our culture is slidding down the slope quickly right into the pit of hell. Our Lord is counting on us to be faithful to the end and stand up for righteousness.
"I am urging you to defend the truth of the Good News. God gave this unchanging truth once and for all time to his holy people." Jude 1:3
Saturday evening we had our church Christmas dinner. We had a great time of food, fellowship, prayer and exhortation. Sunday morning at our Sunday service Millie and Sean dedicated their daughter Hailey Lynn to the Lord. Flip did an awesome job with the ceremony, communion and the sermon. Pastor Flip has a great gift to teach God's word. He has prophetic discernment. We are so blessed for all the great folks God has put in our path from the ministry. How anyone could ever say being a Christian is boring ---- I will never know! I have been a Christian for 25 years and I was never ever bored. If you are doing the work of the Lord -- there is always something exciting to do! And there is no greater feeling.

So please join us Tuesdays and Fridays in Bridgeport and Saturdays in New Haven ... as we reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be.
For the Least of These,
Marilyn Carroll
