On January 3, 2009 Brenda was the first to arrive at the Planned Parenthood in New Haven with her niece. She saw a car approaching and she got out of her car to distribute literature. The car stopped and took the information and another car came behind this one. The first car was going to pull over but the second car went around it. Brenda, Sabrina, Danny, Carmen and other pro-life Christians went about their work by trying to persuade moms not to kill their babies.

About an hour later a police car showed up at PP and went in. After a while the three officers came out with a woman and pointed out Brenda. Brenda got her licence and was walked over to the police car. She was told she was getting arrested because someone (we believe its a PP worker) said she was blocking the driveway. They did not want to hear Brenda's side of the story, they just assumed she was guilty. Another police car pulled up and the officers were making derogatory remarks about the work we do. While in the car Brenda observed signs that said "CHOICE" AND "PRIVACY" on the PP building. (So the women going in have a "choice" to kill their children in "privacy".) Because Brenda has no police record she was let go with a promise to appear today Jan. 15th.

A lawyer was obtained and the police report was received. It had statements on it that were not true. All of us have been praying and getting Godly counsel. Especially in times like this, we know we must trust God.

Carmen and I went with Brenda to court today. Her lawyer spoke to the prosecutor and he has to speak with the plaintiffs, which we believe are PP workers. There is no case or proof of wrongdoing against Brenda. We are believing that the case will be nollied. We have to go back in two weeks, Jan. 29th. Please stand with us in prayer.

If you are against innocent babies being killed in abortion mills, you must come out and take a public stand. Jesus said, "the gates of Hell cannot prevail against my Church". We are His Church. We are the body of Christ. When we go out to the streets, we are His mouthpiece, His hands, His feet. This Tuesday on 1/20/09 we will be mourning the 50 million+ babies that have been legally killed by surgical abortions in our nation. That is not counting all the babies killed by chemical abortions (birth control pills). We will be having a funeral procession in memory of the child killed by abortion. Pastors will gather to speak and pray for our nation, on the very day Obama, the most pro-abortion president, will be sworn into office. Please invite your pastor and your friends to come out. This is the one day of the year we might get some press. If not us, then who? if not now, then when?
