Friday February 20, 2009 the Summit abortuary did not kill any babies. Something was wrong with the abortionist so the appointments were canceled again, just like last Friday the 13th when no babies were killed. This past Tuesday, Feb. 17, a different abortionist showed up. Please pray for this mill to close down, that baby killing will end in Bridgeport. Something is going on and we have to believe by faith for God to move in a supernatural way.

 More details on what God did for Maurice and Shalon: this is a couple we met at the mill. They were walking around the clinic several times with a baby stroller. They said they were not going in. After a while they were standing on the street corner watching us. Then they approached the mill again and said their cousin worked there. We all pleaded with them and after a while they did confess they were going in for an abortion. We brought them over to the bakery next door and they shared that they have two other children and live in close quarters at her mom's house. They feared being kicked out because of another child. They are married and both on disability.

Carmen suggested calling her cousin, Aida, at the shelter. We prayed and asked the Lord to work out the details. There was a long waiting list for families in need of shelter, but God made a way where there seemed to be none. Aida told Carmen that a fully furnished apartment was available for this family if they wanted it. They would have to go home and get certain papers and be back by 5PM. They had to go to Waterbury on the train and back. We rushed them off and took them right to the train station. They did it and returned on time and are living in the apartment that God provided to them. We serve an awesome God! Thank you Jesus!

Update on Melissa and family at the homeless shelter:

Remember how God opened the door for Melissa and Matthew and their two children at the homeless shelter. Brenda, Carmen and others have had close contact with them ever since. Carmen's cousin, who runs the shelter approached Brenda and asked if our group would be interested in coming every other Saturday night to provide food for the families and offer an optional bible study to them. PTL! We prayed and believed the Lord would continue to pave the way for this incredible outreach opportunity.

So, Saturday night, Feb. 21, God orchestrated a wonderful time of food, fellowship and His word. Jennie, Tom, Carmen and Brenda were privileged to get to know these people. Brenda made the macaroni and Nancy prepared the meatballs, Carmen brought a cake that said JESUS LOVES YOU. Tom did a beautiful job sharing Psalm 23 and its meaning and Jennie gave her testimony of how the Lord changed her life. There was a time of prayer after for those who wanted it and many stayed and prayed. Many Bibles were given out and Jesus was glorified. The next day three  of these precious people came to our church service. Please pray for their salvation. Thank you.

Brenda was due back in court this past Thursday and her case was postponed again until April. The reason for this is that they are still waiting for Planned Parenthood to release their video. We all know Brenda did nothing wrong and was just practicing her freedom to distribute literature on a public sidewalk. Please keep this matter up in prayer. God is our defense!

We know from many testimonies that the Lord uses this literature to save lives and souls for him. People come and tell us testimonies of situations we never knew about. One mother called LoveMatters.com (a newspaper we give out) and told them her grandchild was saved because of the paper. Another gentleman called and told about two different women who moved out of their boyfriends' homes after reading the literature.

So please join us (7:45 AM-9:45 AM) each Tuesday and Friday on 3787 Main Street, Bridgeport and Saturdays on 345 Whitney Avenue, New Haven. Just show up and you will be amazed what the Lord will do. He just wants us to be available to Him. It is an honor to co-labor with the King of Kings.God puts each fresh morning, each new chance in life, into our hands as a gift to see what we will do with it.
