Dear brothers and sisters in the Lord. 
 
I write this to SOUND THE ALARM and expose deceivers, false teachers and liars here in the Charlotte area.   We are in the prophesied time of the GREAT FALLING AWAY - 2Thess 2:1-3, 2Tim 4:1-3.  American Christianity has NEVER been in a worse state than these days. While those in our groups keep talking about a great “end-time revival,” what we see IN SCRIPTURE is something else — a falling away and the preparation for the Anti-Christ to rule the world and make all men worship the devil.  How people can believe in an end-times revival when the Bible is clear that the “MAN OF SIN” will appear performing great signs and wonders, boggles the mind.  It is amazing and saddening to see just how many dear friends and leaders seem oblivious to the rampant heresy and carnality all around us. The most popular “Christian” books of the last ten years like the Purpose Driven books, the Shack, The Final Quest and the like are amazingly unbiblical, and yet many have been deceived by them.  We are in a dangerous time in our nation and the world.
 
For years I and many others have warned of Rick Joyner, his heretical writings and practices.  Most NEVER LISTEN.  The willful blindness is grievous and many have been taken in by MorningStar.

 

Now Rick Joyner is “restoring” that impenitent liar, drunkard and adulterer, Todd Bentley.  A man, who, just by his appearance, should have been rejected as a minister of the gospel. (A video from August 27, 2007 in Toronto, shows Todd Bentley with no tattoos on his arms or neck and no piercings.)

And Bentley has REFUSED TO OBEY God’s Word and be reconciled to his wife, but instead has married the YOUNG WOMAN he was in adultery with, and this with Rick Joyner’s sanction! Rick Joyner is a deceiver.  Any other view of him and those around him is deliberate ignorance.  God would not have us ignorant of false prophets and teachers.  Rick Joyner’s mentors have been Bob Jones, a man who would counsel women to take off their clothes and “stand transparent before the Lord” while he "ministered" to them "prophetically" by fondling them (Wikipedia, Mike Bickle, note 16).   A number of years ago I heard Bob Jones refer to these vile events and say he “fell into a little sin,” and then he blamed pastors for “trying to crucify” him!  What shameless gall.  Bob Jones is still running around “prophesying” his unbiblical heresies and phony visions. The man teaches New Age Gnosticism, and not Biblical truth.  He teaches doctrines of devils - 1Tim. 4:1-3.  And then we have Paul Cain, another mentor of Joyner and many others in the prophetic movement, who was caught up in drunkenness and homosexuality for years while “mentoring” all these so-called  prophets who have absolutely no discernment whatsoever!

 

When discussing all of this with a true prophet, Art Katz, he informed me that he agreed with my assessment of MorningStar completely. One time, years prior, when he discerned the path Rick Joyner was on...he brought correction. He told me that Rick Joyner called him a Pharisee and did not receive the correction at all. Incidentally Art Katz gave Rick Joyner a basket full of cassette tapes (one of which was called, "There Were Two Trees in the Garden," the title of a book he eventually wrote.)

Joyner recently said at a FIRE service that the pro-homosexual, pro-abortion, Bible-mocking liar, Barack Obama was a “Christian!”  Rick Joyner has no Biblical grounding or discernment whatsoever!  If Obama is a Christian, then surely anyone can make the same claim! 

 

True prophets preach against sin and bring men to repentance.  But false prophets strengthen men in their evil doings, as MorningStar and Joyner have done on many levels and now especially with Bentley.  Instead of bringing the man to repentance or dealing with him as Scripture would dictate, Bentley has been strengthened in his evil doing, as will many others by this horrible, yet bold example.  Adultery, lying, and then marrying a much younger and prettier woman is OK and you can still be in the ministry!  Forget that Paul said a minister must be the husband of one wife, above reproach and BLAMELESS!  (1Tim. 3:1-13).

 

MorningStar does not promote holiness unto the Lord, but is opposed to it.  Those who preach the Bible and holiness are slandered as being Pharisees, having a religious spirit and the like.  These rebels hate the truth of God and mock it at every turn. 

And so here I present to you articles and videos showing the LYING that has gone on and continues to go on in the “prophetic” circles.  I will also show how unbiblical Rick Joyner’s writings and doctrines are, and videos of MorningStar services where the truth can be seen.  Please take the time to KNOW THE TRUTH regarding these things.

On March 9, Rick Joyner informed the world that Todd Bentley had married his mistress.  In it are pathetic justifications for this rebellion and wickedness.  So I have here a website from another dear woman who believes in the prophetic office and gifts, but is not deceived by the MANY who are masquerading these days as prophets.  Here she quotes and responds to Rick Joyner’s bulletin wherein he tells of Todd Bentley remarrying while under Rick’s supervision.  This is admittedly an emotional, but sound refutation of the ungodly excuses and rationalizations made by Rick Joyner, who is getting ready to stick Todd back into the Pulpit and reap the rewards$$ and notoriety that it will bring.  The dumb sheep will come. And here is a review of Joyner’s book THE FINAL QUEST.  It exposes what others clearly saw about it—LIES.  It is a book of heresy and self-aggrandizement.  Rick Joyner is either delusional or a premeditated liar.  The chapter on his supposed meeting with the Apostle Paul is only meant to get believers away from what Paul said and to listen to what Joyner now says, as someone who is  "greater" than Paul.  The chapter is truly unbelievable, as is the rest of this demonic book.

I can only add from my own personal observations at MorningStar services, conferences, and their visits at FIRE that these people are an arrogant, ungodly, unholy, irreverent group of people, who remind me ONLY of my days as a sinner in the rock music scene.  All that is left is the drug use, and it will be the same. Teaching the Bible is not important at MorningStar.  Most of the people there that I have seen do not even bring a Bible.

 

I have been told that, MorningStar students have NO RULES of conduct at their School of Ministry, and this is because the leaders believe that rules aren’t a good thing!  They would prefer someone fall into sin and then come to them for help rather than have rules in place, because the MorningStar mentality is that rules are BAD.  This lawless attitude is EXACTLY what our Lord warned of in Matthew 7: 21-24, where those who claim to prophesy, cast out devils and do many wonderful works are called workers of iniquity by our Lord.  Iniquity means LAWLESSNESS.  It is that innate rebellion to all law and authority in self-willed individuals that God hates and he will damn all professing believers, no matter what their gifts, if they are lawless - if they are like what I have seen at MorningStar.  I have met young people who call the Bible a “dead letter” on account of the hostility towards the Holy Scriptures that exists at MorningStar. No surprise, seeing rock music was ALL ABOUT REBELLION TO ALL AUTHORITY and is the perfect musical expression for such rebelliousness. 

I met practicing homosexuals at Charlotte Pride events who told us that they go to MorningStar, and at least two of them had been there for a whole year!  How is it that they can attend there for so long and feel comfortable?  Because there is NO CONVICTION OF THE HOLY GHOST THERE.  The environment, the spirit at MorningStar is of the world.  They love the world and the things of this world, therefore the love of the Father IS NOT IN THEM; I don’t care what they or anyone else says.  God’s Word trumps all men.

 

As for those who are in the so-called Apostolic and Prophetic circles that commissioned and endorsed Todd Bentley - some of them certainly KNEW what Bentley was really like, and yet went ahead and promoted him.  God said in Jeremiah 23 that he would make the false prophets drink wormwood and the water of gall.  Some of these men and women have had to issue retractions and apologies, incomplete as they were.  They have had to drink the bitter water of humiliation due to their own unbiblical doctrines, lack of a biblical worldview, and the endorsing of a man that not only was a wolf, but LOOKED THE PART!  Where was the great discernment of all these so-called apostles and prophets???

Understand brothers and sisters, there is no middle ground.  If you are not against Rick Joyner, MorningStar and the whole Bentley fraud, then you stand with them and are a partaker of their sin and the leaven and deception they spread all over the world.

Some of you who are leaders have been warned more than once about MorningStar and have refused to listen.  You must humble yourselves and publicly confess your sin.  You must repent for allowing those entrusted to your care to come under MorningStar’s influence by letting them into your pulpit, or promoting their books or encouraging your people to go there.  You have failed the Lord and His people greatly in this.

 

I and others cannot recommend your ministries, churches or schools any longer if there is the possibility that they will come under the influence of MorningStar because of you.  Instead, we must warn them against you.  To be true to God and His Word of holiness is not only to expose and warn against MorningStar and ministries like it, but also to warn those who may be leavened by such.

My family and I have been to MorningStar at least 20 times starting in 1999.  We have given them a fair hearing.  Their “god” is their UNGODLY MUSIC.  Their god is “personal prophecy.”  Their scripture are the books written by Rick Joyner. They play songs by "The Beatles."  The golden calf of wild, fleshly rock music, disobedient, effeminate, rebellious men with long hair (1Cor. 11:14-15), sloppy dress, women with immodest dress, the tattoos, body-piercing and the like, reveal that the total rebellion to God that manifested in the secular realm during the 1960s is now OPENLY EMBRACED BY MANY in our circles.  As a former rock musician delivered from that depravity, it is shocking to see the level of ungodliness, worldliness, idolatry and rebellion to God in our churches, and especially places like MorningStar.

I take no joy in writing this. It is a solemn warning.  We must not continue down this road.  We must not allow these people to misuse Scripture to make us feel bad or cause us not to "judge righteous judgment" (John 7:24) as Rick Joyner did on his website under "Todd Bentley — restoration process begins."  Calling Christians who believe in holiness, righteousness, sanctification and obedience to God - legalists, Pharisees, religious spirits and the like, to insulate and avert scrutiny....reveals a deceptive, wicked heart.
