Dear Friends,
Please see the documents linked above.
The first; The Declaration of Independence, was unanimously signed and proclaimed by our Founding Fathers on July 4, 1776. It was a call to obey God rather than men. It was the distillation and a culmination of sermons preached from pulpits throughout the thirteen colonies. The ideas, theology, and doctrine of this magnificent document were nothing new to those who heard it for the first time. They had heard it preached by faithful men of God every Sunday morning. In declaring their independence from King George III of England, the fifty-six signers of this Unanimous Declaration, were really declaring their dependence upon Almighty God – the God of the Bible.
The second document; The Declaration of Dependence, has not yet been signed and is awaiting your signature. It is a call to all American Christians to pledge their allegiance to Almighty God, His Law, and His Son. As with our Founding Fathers, this Declaration is a distillation and a culmination of sermons preached from pulpits throughout the United States. The ideas, theology, and doctrine are nothing new to those of you who may be seeing it for the first time. You have heard these principles declared by faithful men of God every Sunday morning. It is our turn now to declare our dependence upon the only One who can truly save America and our posterity – Jesus Christ!
We will be announcing this in Washington, D.C., on Monday morning, May 18, 2009, in front of the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Our nation has drifted far from God. It is our privilege, our duty, and our command to proclaim this truth. “Those who forsake the law praise the wicked but those who keep the law resist them”. Proverbs 28:4
In Christian love,
Flip
