Dear Dr. Tiller,
I first met you in Wichita during the summer of 1991. I was one of the ones sitting in front of the grill of your Suburban as you were entering your abortion mill. At that time I was the pastor of a small Free Methodist church in Garland, Texas. Today, by God’s providential grace, I am the Director of Operation Save America. I am writing this letter to you, in the fear and humility of Almighty God, with a deep and abiding concern for the condition of your soul.
My genuine desire is for our Lord to communicate directly with your heart His love for you and your family, and the children who are being brutally slaughtered at your business. Mothers, fathers, grandparents, relatives, friends, and our nation are suffering the incredible consequences of allowing the blood of our innocent children to be shed. God has made it very clear in His Scripture that if we shed blood in the womb we will reap bloodshed in the streets (Hosea 4:1-6, Ezekiel 35:6). That we are reaping bloodshed in the streets, the front page of every newspaper in the country will attest.
I am enclosing a marvelous book concerning the conversion of Norma McCorvey (the Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade). She signed it especially for you. I had the privilege of baptizing Miss Norma in the summer of 1995. Jesus changed her heart and ultimately her worldview. She jumped from being the poster child of the pro-choice movement into the arms of Jesus. Now she is doing everything in her power to undo the horrible “law” that allowed little children to be killed under the auspices of Roe v. Wade. What changed her was Jesus – nothing more and nothing less!
Also enclosed, you will find a thirty-minute videotape detailing her conversion and allowing you to become more familiar with us. There are several pastors and friends in your city praying for your conversion to Christ, Dr. Tiller. They love you. They are praying that you will come to know the same Jesus that saved Miss Norma. We are praying that He will reveal Himself to you.
