 It has become obvious that the officers of the Charlotte Police Department are simply security guards at this abortion mill; and to top that off their salaries are paid by the taxpayers! The officers were already parked outside when we arrived. As soon as we began to set up our sound equipment Officer DeRienzo and Officer Cruz jumped out of their cruiser across the street and began to protect Deborah’s business that kills children.
The sound meter was taken out and we were told that the ambient reading was 71 – the legal limit for projected sound being 75. When we began speaking on the sound system, Flip politely asked Officer DeRienzo what the reading was so we could make sure we were within legal limits. The officer very curtly replied that if we wanted to know the sound reading we could buy our own sound meter. They never did inform us what the reading was. These two officers were there for the entire duration that we were there, which was about 3 hours, along with Officer Kelly and another companion who came to fraternize with the officers for a little while. Do you think any other business in America gets this kind of police protection? Proverbs 17:15 says, "He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike, an abomination to the Lord." This is our Charlotte Police Department, an abomination before our Lord.
With a small gathering of pro-lifers (approximately 15) 12 women came into the clinic on this Friday morning. One lady named Norma came to get an IUD. John and Kim Reyes gave her Dr. Matt Harrison’s number and told them about the class for Natural Family Planning.

As Christians going out faithfully on the streets around the country lifting up the name of Jesus Christ, do not be discouraged; just be faithful and true to His Word. We are called to be watchmen and give warning to the wicked. If you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, that person shall die in his iniquity, but you will have delivered your soul. (Ezekiel 33:9) So even on days like today when no babies were saved that we know of, God’s Hand is still upon us.
 It was a light traffic day for the clinic (about 12 women) today, but we had nearly 100 pro-lifers on the streets with us. What a sight it was to see so many Christians standing up for the lives of these little baby boys and girls. The police force sent out 2 sergeants today along with 2 to 5 other officers that were on hand throughout the day. Again this goes to show you which side of the fence this police jurisdiction is on. They are not there to uphold the law but to uphold the liberal political agenda and the laws of Deborah Walsh.
Deborah Walsh applied for a sound permit to ensure we couldn’t have a sound system to preach the gospel. She set up her sound system by duct taping a round speaker onto a tree on the public right-of-way side of the clinic. This 54 year old woman (also wearing a bulletproof vest under her shirt for dramatic effect) climbed a tree and taped the speaker onto a branch in that tree and left it there unmanned. Soon thereafter Adam Tennant climbed the tree on this public right-of-way; this is when we saw the demons in Deborah come out. She climbed the tree to try to protect her unmanned speaker. As she was climbing the tree she was calling for the police officers to get Adam away from her, to which Adam pointed out that he was standing perfectly still; Deborah was the one advancing toward him. During this time Adam shared the love of Christ with her. He then jumped out of the tree and Deborah was left up there crying by this event. He did not touch her speaker and the police officers did not assist her in any way, though officer DeRienzo suggested arresting Adam because a dead branch broke off the tree. (Fortunately his sergeant was wise enough not to get drawn into the schemes of this mocking disgrace of a police officer.) When Deborah did not get the action she wanted out of the police officers for a change, she tried calling the FBI. You could see Deborah’s demeanor changing throughout the time she was up in the tree, which was probably about 45 minutes. She ended up having a member of her staff bring a ladder to help her down, but it wasn’t tall enough. She finally climbed down with speaker in hand and went inside her killing zone.  She then left and we assumed she had had enough on this day. To our surprise she returned, and she was packing a pistol on her hip. With Sgt. Stephens, Sgt. Booth, Officer DeRienzo and Officer Cruz present they refused to acknowledge us regarding a picketing ordinance that states it is against the law to possess any dangerous weapon at one of these events. We were forced again to call 911 to report an incident when an officer of the law was in our presence (this is at least the 3rd time we have had to do this). An officer never responded, and the officers present continued fraternizing amongst themselves and with Deborah Walsh. The Charlotte Police Department again showed their true allegiance by not even looking into the ordinance that Flip made them aware of. If the officers of the Charlotte Police Department continue to act as the personal security guards of Deborah Walsh and her killing business she will end up pulling the trigger on that pistol some day soon. She is completely out of control as the devil has a strangle hold on her life.
As a finale, the two sergeants followed Deborah like puppies to harass the departing defenders of life. At her behest they came over to inspect how far our cars were parked from the curbside. While the officers were busy warning us to park close to the curb, Deborah was busy taking pictures of the license plates on the vehicles. We continue to pray for her to turn away from her wickedness as only God can deliver her and save her soul through His Son Jesus Christ.
