Barack Obama is a sign and judgment from God that our nation has turned its back upon Him and chosen other gods – gods that neither we nor our fathers knew.  Just as the nations of Assyria and Babylon (enemies of God) were His rods of discipline to bring the nation Israel back to Himself, so Barack Obama (another enemy of God) is the rod God is using to wake up His sleeping (almost comatose) Church in America.  Last night we heard from our President for the umpteenth time about why America must reform National Health Care and have it run by the government.  What we were not told was that this plan leads to the death of the very weakest in life.  Yes, from the beginning of life (abortion) to its last days (euthanasia), and all that is in between, National Health Care breathes and shouts death.  “…all who hate me love death.”  Proverbs 8:36.       

This should give us a pretty good idea where those who support this Health Care reform stand with Almighty God.  They hate Him and they know it not.  Some form of health care has been in the devil’s bag of lies for a long time – since he met Eve in the Garden.  It is the devil’s lie to get us to switch allegiances.  It is his way to get us to trust him rather than God.  In America we have seen its visible manifestations for more than half a century.  This national travesty was first sprung on the American people in all of its fury in 1992-93 under the auspices of Bill and Hillary Care.  It was defeated for the lie that it was then.  But now it has returned from the dead with a vengeance. It is called “Obama Care.”

It is an instrument by which the devil can rob, kill, and destroy at will.  How is that?  It moves us from trusting in Almighty God and His provision, to relying upon government (arm of the flesh) for the same.  It moves us from trusting the absolute, objective, empirical, standard of the Word of God to a relative, subjective system of everybody doing what is right in his own eyes.  This is the change we were promised by Barack Obama and this is the change that is decimating our nation.

Last week gentle Christian warriors engaged the devil at his gates of hell in Charlotte, North Carolina.  About 700 true believers gathered to promote the devil’s lie at Teamsters Union #71 at 5000 North Tryon Street.  This time he attempted to camouflage himself by arriving on a huge bus covered with Obama Health Reform logos, filled with people from “Organize America.”  These precious folks - “useful idiots” in the hands of the devil - were sponsoring and proselytizing for President Obama’s National Health Care program.  This is a program inspired and designed in the deepest pits of hell.  None of the “Organize America ” people seemed aware of the fact that they were serving the devil.  They felt they were serving their god – government, in the Name of Jesus.

This is our problem.  Most folks, especially those claiming the Name of Christ, do not see this health care fight for the battle that it really is.  It is a battle between the God and the devil; between light and darkness; between good and evil; between life and death; between blessing and curse.  There can be no compromise here.  No reaching across the aisle.  There is no common or middle ground.  And there should certainly be no effort to dialogue with the enemy.  The battle lines have already been drawn.  They were drawn long ago, when the serpent began his dialogue with Eve.  Now it is our turn to either stand with God or stand opposed to Him.

The only institution ordained by God to fight this battle and win, is the Church of Jesus Christ.  We can’t rely on Republicans to fight and win.  Their ultimate goal is attaining or remaining in office.  Neither can we rely on Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Sean Hannity et.al., to fight and win.  The gates of hell will always prevail against conservatism.  It is ours to win or lose.  We cannot and will not agree to disagree with this murderous Health Care Reform plan.  The lives of millions are depending on us.  Nor will we attempt to be civil when dealing with its multitudinous tentacles.  We must ruthlessly cut off every appendage of this lie in the Name of Jesus Christ and then cut off its head with the sharp double edged sword of the Spirit.

We brought the large graphic pictures of baby Malachi (child killed by abortion), Gospel tracts, and a large speaker system to the gates of hell at Teamsters Union #71.  We gave ‘em heaven as best we could and proclaimed the Gospel of Christ.  We spoke boldly for God’s love for unborn children.  All hell broke loose and all heaven came down as God’s Church confronted the lies of the devil with the Word of God at the gates of hell.  When all was said and done, one little old man who claimed to know Christ came up to us with this sign:

Now you see the problem.  So many who claim to be Christian have swallowed this lie hook, line, and sinker.  That is why they voted for Barrack in the first place.  They knew where he stood on abortion, euthanasia, homosexuality, and Islam, yet they voted for him anyway.  Their God is not the God of the Bible. It is our responsibility to say so.
