A month ago I saw a doctor about a mole on my back. I had noticed it for maybe 9 months to a year. He did a biopsy on the mole in his office. A week later I was told it was Melanoma.
They wanted me to see an Oncologist surgeon for consultation, and he informed me that I needed a surgery to make sure they got it all in the center of my back. They found out before surgery that the dye injections went to both arm lymph nodes so they biopsied both sides and took out a larger cut from my back.
Today 3-8-10, I found out that both arm pits have tested positive for this cancer. So at this moment, and things can always change, I will go Friday, 3-12-10, @ 2pm for the removal of both the lymph node systems underneath each of my arms. They will test each node from each system to see if the cancer is in other nodes. As of now the plan is to give me a month of shot injections each day and then one shot per month thereafter.
It is not known when exactly to start with the shots or when to end. Please keep all of us in your prayers and know that JESUS is our Rock. He is my Rock. He is still on the thrown and I will keep on serving HIM.
God is doing amazing things in our lives and we will not back off. We will praise Him in this storm and, I'm sure, shed some tears along the way but I can only imagine what HE is going to do through us and for us. We plan to see everyone in July for the OSA event.
Know I will continue to follow my Sheppard’s voice! I cling to the psalms and all of the Lord’s promises He has for me.
I love you All,
In Jesus forever,
