Saints in Connecticut Doing God’s Work
Marilyn Carroll with foreword by Rev Flip Benham 5/25/2010
OSA-CT Street Report - May 1-11, 2010
Saturday May 1st - PPNH - 15 prolifers came out, 10 women went in at killing time 1 mom changed her mind, 9 babies were left to die. One of the PP workers called police to complain that counselors had bullhorns. They weren't bullhorns, they were megaphones. They make your voice more clear -not louder. According to the law it has to be over 55 decibels to be "disturbing the peace" and its up to the police to have the equipment to calibrate the sound level. The cars going by with loud mufflers and loud music cannot even compare to us talking to the women, we know its a spiritual battle and the enemy hates what we do. The Bridgeport shelter dinner outreach was this night and they were all blessed that Pastor Loomer came to do the Bible study there! If you would like to help out with this ministry with making food, doing a bible study or your presence please email Brenda brenron878@optonline.net
"Truly You have formed my inmost being; You knit me in my mother's womb." Psalm 139:13
Here is Carmen with some of the saved babies. Praise the Lord, thank you Jesus! How precious is every life! One of the moms that changed her mind was coming back for another abortion of her second child and changed her mind again! Tuesday May 4th - Bpt. - 13 prolifers came out, 12 women went in at killing time, 3 changed their minds, 8 babies were left to die. A Spanish mom was coming to the mill with her little girl. She talked to Carmen and we showed her the collage of all the saved babies, the picture of the ambulance taking a mom out of the Summit and the development of her baby. She changed her mind and didn't even go in! Carmen took her home, gave her a gift card for food, plus Ron R and Jeff were able to bring her some furniture that was donated to the ministry! Her name is Rufina, please pray for her, she has six children (26 yrs old -4 yrs old). This is baby #7! Carmen got to witness to her in Spanish, she has a very sweet spirit and needs Jesus. Friday May 7th - Bpt. 14 prolifers came out, 20 women went in at killing time, 1 changed her mind, 3 turned away, 16 babies were left to die. The police were called by the mill because a dad was causing a disturbance inside because he did not want the baby's mom to have the abortion. The young dad was very upset and crying outside the clinic. Dads have no say whether their children can live and have life. How sad. Saturday May 8th - PPNH - 16 prolifers came out, 10 women went in at killing time, 3 turned away, 7 babies were left to die. This was the day of Dominique's baby shower, one of the moms that changed her mind. Tuesday May 11th - Bpt. 14 prolifers came out, 7 women went in at killing time, 2 turned away, and 5 babies were left to die. Vinny and Stan got to pray for an alcoholic that was going to the liquor store but instead came over to us for prayer. God is so good, just show up and watch what He does. He will use you in ways you never dreamed of. Just be available. Also this day, the abortionist, Susan Richman, was in her normal state, swearing and giving us the finger as she was having her car towed and Brenda said to her " You won't be doing that when you stand before Jesus." Ms. Richman blurts out "You f----ing -----, I'm Jewish! So Brenda then told her "Jesus is your Messiah." PTL Please pray for this woman. As her name states, she may be a "rich" man and as her car plate states, she may have many "toys" but none of that will matter on judgement day. This is just a side story I want to share with you all. God can use you wherever you go. I go to the nail salon where there are Vietnamese technicians (Buddhists) so I give them Vietnamese Chick tracts. Mom and I talk to them about God and we always say we will pray for them. There is one girl, Lynn, that had a very bad virus and trouble with her liver and a bad rash all over her body. I told her I would pray for her for a long time now. Then lately she told me she was getting divorced because her husband had a lot of problems. She has a little girl with him. I told her how bad divorce is and I told her to pray that God will intervene. Well the last time I went there she said she had to tell me something and she was glowing and so happy. She said to thank my mom and me for praying for her because God healed her sickness and restored her marriage. Her husband is willing to do anything for the marriage to work. He had a total change of heart. She was beaming! She actually gave God and prayer the glory. Please pray for their salvation. I gave them more literature to read. Thanks for the prayers from Mom Z - she is doing better Four generations of the Zotti legacy! A wonderful Mothers Day with our moms. I hope everyone had a great Mothers Day. Please come out and join us as we try to persuade moms not to kill their babies. We will be there until the killing stops. If not us, then who? If not here, then where? If not now, then when? Today is the day. Just show up and see what God will do! Tuesdays and Fridays at 3787 Main St Bridgeport and Saturdays at 345 Whitney Ave, 8-10 AM. We are also very excited about the OSA National Event missions trip coming up in Charlotte this July. So far there are 20+ Christians coming from the wonderful state of Connecticut. I promise you, once you come to one of these you will never be the same. They are awesome in maturing your Christian walk. The whole street experience teaches you to lay down your own life and comforts so others can live. The teachings are beyond compare. The fellowship is beautiful with those of like precious faith from all over the country that do the same ministry in their community. For the Least of These Marilyn Carroll |
