We had a wonderful weekend of ministry with our noble leader of Operation Save America (national), the Reverend Philip (Flip) Benham, and his sweet wife, Faye and their great son, Jonathan. They drove here all the way from Charlotte, North Carolina! PTL! It was a pleasure to have them. They arrived late on Thursday afternoon and we started our mission on the streets Friday morning.
Friday morning we were out at the Summit Aborturary on 3787 Main St. Bridgeport. Twenty-six saints came out to pray and make a public proclamation for the Gospel of Life. Fifteen moms went in to abort and two changed their minds. Please pray for a couple that Flip and Carmen spoke to and left, Michael and Titiana. Thirteen precious babies were left to die!
After our brunch fellowship at the diner we were off to the mosque ( at Masjid-An-Noor, 1300 Fairfield Ave. BPT) we went. We notified the police first, as we do, with every outreach. Fifteen saints were there between the ages of 8 years old to 76 years young. Men stayed at the two driveways near the mosque to pass out gospel literature and women had signs and literature across the street. John Payne did his street preaching at one driveway and Flip did his across the street near the gas station. We were there to evangelize and we passed out hundreds of pieces of literature. Jesus told us in His word to preach the gospel to every creature and that includes Muslims. We gave out the OSA brochure on abortion, homosexuality and Islam. You can read it online and we gave out the book of Romans in English and Aramaic, and DVD's. I would say about two thirds of them took the info. We were able to reach people from two services.
Most of the Muslims and passersby were positive and receptive. A reporter from the CT Post, Dan Tepfer, and a photographer, Autumn Driscoll, appeared minutes before we were ready to close down. The article that was in Saturday mornings CT POST newspaper was full of lies and misrepresentations. Hopefully they will print a correction and the letters some wrote to the editor.
Friday night Pastor Flip did an awesome message at Calvary Life in Cheshire and almost the whole church came up for the alter call to get closer to God. Three new people from our church came out to Planned Parenthood on Saturday, PTL!
Saturday morning was the best morning yet at Planned Parenthood, 345 Whitney Ave. New Haven, we had well over 50 Christians there all around the block and at the busy intersection corners holding signs and passing out literature. There were three pastors present (Pastor Loomer, Pastor Goodall and Pastor Benham) with their families, PTL! God is doing a mighty work here in CT! We are excited to be a part of His body on the streets as we become THE CHURCH WITHOUT WALLS.
After the morning outreach we were off to Ground Zero where we recorded a short promo of Flip inviting Christians to come out on Sept. 11, 2010. Please join Operation Save America at the old Burlington Coat Factory, 45 Park Place, NYC, that was partially ruined by the 9/11 attacks. Muslims are planning to build a 11 million dollar, 13-story Islamic center and mosque there and calling it the Cordova Initiative, which means a city conquered by the Muslims. For the time, please keep checking the website. This is a DVD Colbi, Paul and their friend put together:
Here's another video from Burlington Coat Factory in NYC:
After we left Ground Zero and off to the new Yankee Stadium for the Red Sox game. We passed out hundreds of Mickey Mantle tracts that told about the end of his life conversion. When we ran out of those we gave out every One Heartbeat Away and Co-exist tract we had. Colbi and Paul gave out the most before and after the game. We are so proud of our youth that have a heart for lost souls! Thank you Jesus!
The one who saves souls is wise! (Proverbs)
Sunday Pastor Flip was blessed to speak at Milford Christian Church, he did another awesome teaching, which we will be getting soon if you want one. Please keep us all in prayer that we would fullfill the purpose and plan that our Lord has for us. Pray for His protection, wisdom, blessing, favor and anointing. We want all He has to offer, without Him we are nothing! Please join us every Tues and Thurs at 3787 Main St as we reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be. Saturdays are at Planned Parenthood, 345 Whitney Ave. New Haven. The time is 8 AM-10 AM.
For the Least of These,
