Couple Writes New Book to Strengthen Christian Families By Jim Day In a time of spiraling moral and theological decline, a new book has appeared on the scene entitled, The Promise of Jonadab that encourages Christian families not only to stand but to pass the torch of their faith securely throughout the generations. The Promise of Jonadab was officially released at the Christian Bookseller’s Association (CBA) Convention in St. Louis on June 28, 2010. E. Ray Moore is a South Carolina native and a graduate of The Citadel with a B.A. in Political Science. He received his M.Div. in 1974 and his Th.M. in 1979 from Grace Theological Seminary. He served over 30 years as a campus pastor and as an Army Reserve Chaplain (Lt. Col. USAR Ret). For his service in Gulf War I, Chaplain Moore was awarded the Bronze Star. He currently serves as president of Frontline Ministries, Inc., and the Exodus Mandate Project, which focus on prayer, revival and K-12 Christian education and home schooling. Gail Pinckney Moore, also a native of South Carolina and a graduate of The College of Charleston, taught language arts in Christian schools for 15 years including 10 years of secondary English at Ben Lippen School, a private Christian school, and was chair of the English department, until 2005. She has 30 years experience as a homeschool and Christian school teacher. Ray and Gail were honored as the SC Parents of the Year for 2000. She currently writes for the SC Legislative Council. Ray and Gail have been married for 40 years and have four children and six grandchildren.
