Both Atlanta and Charlotte put on their best “politically correct” faces this October, hoisting rainbow flags, as they hosted the annual Gay Pride lust fests in their respective cities.  These insane events allow infantile human beings to strut their “sex anyway you want it” cravings in the parks and streets of our cities with the happy approval of city fathers, and the sponsorship of major corporations, banks, and “churches.”  Did I mention that this goes on amidst the deafening silence of the true Church of Jesus Christ?   

That’s right!  Sodomy, pederasty, necrophilia, bestiality, ad nauseam, is all on public display and not one peep out of the Church of Jesus Christ.  She is in the closet and afraid to come out.  Powerful sermons are preached within her walls, but that is as far as she will go.  If she ever does venture out and attempt to live up to her high calling, she is beaten down with the politically correct club of being a judgmental bigot, and backed into the safe confines of her closet.  She is safe in her closet.  She is not called names.  She can grow large and not be hated.  It’s warm in the closet and the fellowship is, “Oh so sweet!”

But what would happen if the true Church of Jesus Christ were to come out of the closet and allow the theology of the church house to become biography in the streets?  Yes, what would happen if the Word of God were allowed to become flesh in the highways and byways of our land?  What would happen if the Church of Jesus Christ were to burst out of the closet of her fears and storm the gates of hell wherever they manifested themselves?  The battle would be on, and things would be vastly different, I assure you.

Let’s take a look at two cities that hosted their Gay Pride events this October.

On Sunday, October 10, 2010, the city of Atlanta celebrated its 40th annual Gay Pride Parade.  Atlanta was treated to a parade of unparalleled decadence where sodomites, transvestites, et.al, strutted their stuff and every vile and repugnant behavior known to man was on display.  In its attempt to rival Sodom and Gomorrah, it appeared that the radical homosexual agenda had won the day in this southern city.

The Mayor of Atlanta and its police chief were marching in lock-step with the sodomites in this abomination before Almighty God.  The Bible puts it this way:  “The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it.  Woe to them!  They have brought disaster upon themselves.”  Isaiah 3:9.

The one thing that unites this people is sex, not the beautiful gift that God intended, but sex in its vilest and most perverted manifestations.  Abortion has proved that we are willing to kill for sex and AIDS has proved that it is something for which we are willing to die.  These folks, precious in God’s sight, are slaves to their own flesh and the devil’s lie.  There is only One who can set them free, and His name is JESUS. 

But many falsely believe that they already are “Christians.”  How can they believe such a thing?  Because the real Church of Jesus Christ in Atlanta has chosen to hide in a closet while the enemies of Almighty God (wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing) are out on the streets preaching a different “gospel” (2 Corinthians 11:3-5).  It is no Gospel at all (Galatians 1:6).   

Yes, they use the name of Jesus, yet they preach that one can be a practicing homosexual and a Christian at the same time.  Several churches were parade entrants including Episcopal, Methodist, Lutheran, Metropolitan Community, United Church of Christ, and Universalist.  All have the appearance of being God’s Church, but they are inwardly ferocious wolves seeking to destroy whom they may.  This devastating lie perpetrated upon those in bondage to homosexual sodomy has been the death knell for many because they believe themselves to be forgiven although they have never repented of their sin.  To be forgiven one must come to know that he is a sinner and confess the same.  The false preachers of these churches preach that, “God made us this way and therefore we must accept ourselves as we are and receive God’s forgiveness.”

How do they get away with this?  The very institution entrusted with God’s Word, and whose duty it is to expose sin, has become amazingly silent in the city of Atlanta.  As the true Church of Jesus Christ has become weaker and more timid, the false church and false preachers have become stronger and bolder.  As God’s Church hides herself from conflict in the closet, God’s enemies are bombastically, and with such a clatter, charging out of the closet.  They are leading many astray

The radical homosexual agenda is having its day and its way in the city of Atlanta.  Atlanta is a city filled with great evangelical churches, yet the evangelical Gospel message is nowhere to be heard as the devil throws a party in the streets of this once great city.  The Church is at peace when it should be at war – proclaiming God’s Word at the gates of hell.

However, in Charlotte, North Carolina, things are amazingly different.  For the past eight years the Church of Jesus Christ has been taking the battle right to the gates of hell.  Here we have refused to be pushed into closet.  We have pushed open those closet doors and we unashamedly proclaim the Gospel, making righteous judgments, and storming the gates of hell in Jesus Name.  The gates are not prevailing.

The sodomite community, once able to publicly parade its sin in the parks and streets of Charlotte, has been steadily pushed back into the closet by a small, persistent, powerful group of saints that take God at His Word and then watch as He does exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or imagine.  As we have come out of our beautifully cedar-lined closet and stormed the gates of hell, we have found that God has moved His enemies back into their dirty little closet and off the streets.  What a mighty God we serve!

Once proudly parading its sin in Marshall Park (a picturesque public park with a memorial to Martin Luther King Jr.), Pride Charlotte had to move into Gateway Village (a semi-private venue) and this year has had to move into the North Carolina Music Factory (a far more private venue). 

Why all the moves?  It appears that these out-of- the-closet Christians are causing a great turmoil wherever the devil decides to throw a party.  We brought pictures of what the sodomites were doing to our city council.  They were shocked when they saw what was actually going on in the public parks of Charlotte.  There were transvestite dancers (men dressed like women) bumping and grinding in front of small children (some two and three years old) and these children were putting money where their precious little hands did not belong.  There were pictures of men in full frontal nudity and much worse.  And of course, the police were standing by watching all of this with their hands behind their backs.

When hundreds of us gathered at the city council meetings to bring our Mayor and council members up to snuff on what was going on in the streets of Charlotte, they began to take note and make some changes.  The Mayor would no longer write a welcome letter to Pride Charlotte when their big event was coming to town.  The police would no longer throw out gentle Christians from the parade simply because they were witnessing the Gospel of Christ to those lost in the sin of homosexual sodomy.  More tolerance for the First Amendment rights of Christians was being exercised.

We were witnessing stunning victories in the streets of our city.  We were out of the closet and loving the freedom.  People were giving their hearts to Christ.  Those who thought they were born into homosexuality were finding the liberating truth that Christ can set one free from any sin.  Babies, hundreds of them, were being saved at abortion mills.  We were even bringing the Gospel message to the high schools of Charlotte – outside, of course, on the public sidewalk.  It is still a daunting task to bring Jesus into the classroom.  He has pretty much been expelled from there!

For years now, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) has held its annual meeting at the Convention Center here in Charlotte.  It is one of the best attended galas that HRC puts on in the country.  It is a black tie, first class affair, and it is all about promoting sodomy and forcing that agenda down the throats of the American people via legislative avenues at the local, state, and federal level.  

For the past six years, the Church of Jesus Christ in Charlotte has faithfully brought the Gospel of Christ to the HRC at the entrances of the Convention Center and proclaimed the Gospel truth, much to the chagrin of the all dressed up- black tie homosexual community.  They dreaded to walk the 400 yards from the Hilton Hotel, where most of them stayed, to the Convention Center under the piercing conviction of the Holy Spirit exposing the sin of homosexual sodomy that destroys those who practice it and nations that approve of it.

The HRC decided this year to hold its convention in Raleigh, North Carolina.  I wonder why?

The city of Charlotte was recently informed that it was one of four major cities being considered for the location of the Democratic National Convention in the summer of 2012.  The downside was that the city of Charlotte was not considered homosexual friendly.  Hmmmmmmm.  I wonder what might be going on in Charlotte that would give anyone that idea?
