I have been busy since returning from Zambia. We worked among the Lozi people. I took a picture of the team relaxing in camp on the way back to South Africa - it takes a week to return. The older doctor next to me is Dr Hirbie - 76 YEARS OLD!! Retired dentist - still serving the Lord on outreaches.  The next one (center ) with the Very long legs is Dr. Carl-Heinz - tremendously talented surgeon who does all the surgery - I was blessed to assist him again this time. These people make me ashamed of how lazy we American Christians are.  [The photos didn't come in.] 

We had one of the most successful outreaches so far in count of salvations.  One day I was washing and dressing a leg wound on a lady with leprosy and she was wearing fetishes ( witch craft) I asked her -  what are you doing???  You have had these wounds for 20 years and still think the witch doctor can help? You need Jesus.  After a long talk while I was bandaging her she took off the fetishes.  On the last night we held a bonfire and sang gospel songs.       (Flip- we sang "A Mighty Fortress is our God" first!)  They brought all their witchcraft things and burned them.  Praise the Lord. 

When we returned to South Africa. I went on another outreach with the 11th hour ( sidewalk) counselors to Durban.  All the clinics are closed in Durban so they go right to the drug and prostitute area to find and talk to women about Jesus and life. Sorry - no pictures -too dangerous to do that in that area. They say the drug lords will kill anyone with a camera - BUT WHEN WE WENT ONLY ARMED WITH THE GOSPEL EVEN THEY LISTENED!

Yesterday I addressed the government Forum on Drug Abuse as they were planning an International Summit here in South Africa -God just miraculously opened the door. I got in many "digs" about remembering to not leave God out of the plans.

Today I go to Greytown with the 11th hour counselors to seek more women. There is a great danger here because, although the clinics are closed, the traditional medicine men ( witch doctors ) can still give a potion to abort.  It can also, in some cases, kill the woman !!! TOMORROW ALL THE 11th HOUR COUNSELORS THAT I TRAINED IN 2001,and the new ones who have joined, will meet with me.  Friday I start my journey home. Arrive Saturday Nov 6th. I miss everyone.
