Operation Save America -

Have you ever wondered why God allows abortion to continue? Do you ever think God is tryng to teach His church something by not putting a stop to the whole thing?

When our whole focus is on the baby, we miss the greater spiritual battle for the souls of the woman and men who come to these clinics. Abortion is really violence against women. Women have abortions because they feel trapped and powerless or are pushed into unwanted abortions by those who claim to love them. We don't have them because we wake up one day and think, I sure would like to have my child killed! Abortion is Satan's plan to destroy women, and it is working wonderfully. Plenty of us at the clinics don't have much empathy for a woman who is seeking her childs death. We really don't have much patience or empathy with those who are on their second or third or seventh abortion. Maybe abortion will continue until we learn to have compassion, real compassion for the sinner, like Jesus had for us.

We don't really address this at the clinic. We come to save a baby and the woman's soul is incidental. Christ came to seek the lost and told us to do likewise. That is our biblical mandate.

The outreach Friday night went very well! Jan, Bill myself and Stephanie went out to the people who are living or hanging around the strip clubs and motels in the Camp Bowie West area. Our purpose was to witness to those we came in contact with and to invite the women to a Bible study that will be held on the first Thursday night of the month at the Pregnancy Help Center. (Thank you Polly!) We will provide child care, Michele Quinones has volunteered to teach that class, (which will involved VBS type outreach for the kids, she could use helpers)and Kristian has agreed to cook for us because we are providing dinner for everyone who attends and finally a Bible study called "Healing the Hurts" for women.

We are thrilled that two dancers took the information and one hooker. We also put up flyers in a few phone booths and gave the flyers to the motel managers to pass out. We will be passing out the flyers and witnessing to the hope we have in Jesus this Friday again. If you want to join us, call me at 817-360-1945.

We are delighted over the way this entire outreach is unfolding as we follow the Holy Spirit's leading. Please continue to pray for us

For some time now, we have been working on an outreach to the strippers and other sex workers/people who populate the Camp Bowie W area in Tarrant County . We have spent many months praying for the people in this area and for divine appointments and for God's direction. I have talked to other ministries that minister to strippers and sought their counsel, and we have waited on God's guidance. I really believe that we have heard from Him and we are moving ahead in faith this Friday night. We are going to pass out tracts and witness to the people who inhabit this "corridor." We will meet at 7pm , across the street from Illusions strip club. If you would like to be a part of this outreach, call Carole at 817-360-1945. The plan is to witness to the people one on one and invite the women to a Bible study called "Healing the Hurts," at the Pregnancy Help Center (it is right down the road) on Thursday nights at 7pm. We are going to supply them with dinner and hopefully childcare, which is another opportunity to witness, this time to the children. For some of these children, we will be the only people in the world praying for them! If you want to be involved call me and let me know!

This is a report from Jan Colson regarding the outreach at Southwest High School on the Day of Silence.

April 14, 2004

There was more hostility at Southwest yesterday than usual. The Christian teachers quietly thanked us for coming. The principal and another teacher were not so happy to see us. All in all, we had a good outreach there and a lot of literature was given out and received by the kids.

We decided to go on to Crowley High School because they got out later (4:15). They were also on the list of schools participating in the Day of Silence. We met strong resistance there from the assistant principal. He insisted that the sidewalk in front of the school belonged to the school. We acknowledged that one small part (of special stone) directly in front probably belonged to them and had been put there by the school, but the rest of the sidewalk was public sidewalk. They took up all our time arguing about the matter so finally we went down to the end of the block (away from most of the kids of course). No one ever got mad but we were firm and told them we would be back at a later date. I have contacted Liberty Legal Institute and requested that they call the principal and discuss our First Amendment Rights with him.

This Wednesday, April 15th is the National Day of Silence Day of The Day of Silence is an annual, national student-led effort in which participants take a vow of silence to peacefully protest the discrimination and harassment faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth in schools. So say GLTEN (Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network) I seriously doubt that kindergartners organized this event, although they are listed as participants!

Southwest High School in Fort Worth Texas is one of the schools that is participating. We are going to go to this school and pass out tracts and witness on what the Bible says about homosexuality and freedom in Jesus Christ!. Please consider taking off work to come and help. Our hearts are broken by this deception aimed at teenagers! Satan hates this generation and seemingly will stop at nothing to destroy them! If you can't come, pray that God will open the hearts and eyes of the youth of this school and they will learn the truth that will set them free. If you can go, email Jan at colston@gbronline.com. OSA-Jericho Mission 2005 Report

Baby Carole was saved from abortion by the prayers and efforts of the Christians who come to the Westside abortion clinic, and the help that she received from the Pregnancy Help Center But her mother Lisa would never have made it to the Help center if Christians had not been there to talk to her. The point of intercession has to be made on the battlefield!

Lisa is not a Christian, she is a Buddhist, and the most striking thing she said through her tears was that “my god won't help me, so I have to have this abortion.” How lonely it must be to not know Jesus!

We continue to minister and witness to Lisa, please pray for her to come to know Jesus who saved her and baby Carole.

In January, five babies were saved at the Westside clinic! Seventy-two lost their lives. We continue to minister and witness to Lisa, please pray for her to come to know Jesus who rescued her and her baby.
