Our good friend Mike Warren from Rescue Rochester just put this out. Excellent.

Horror Once Again!
Unspeakable tragedy and heartache has played out before the American people with seemingly increased occurrence and exponentially greater horror. We are shocked and troubled as we look for answers to the innocent being savaged in our malls, movie theaters and schools. Now twenty kindergarteners and first graders brutally executed with their loving teachers in suburban Connecticut. Families torn with unspeakable agony, may God help us!
Guns are not the problem; rather the root problem is a society that has sought to divorce itself from the influence and loving arms of a beneficent gracious God, Jesus Christ. We are now seeing a small taste of the depth of depravity that the human heart can sink and embrace.
The United States has been on a national mission since 1962 to remove the influence of our Godly Christian heritage from the public square. Public readings of the scriptures, prayers imploring God’s blessings, the posting of The Ten Commandments, and the displays and programs honoring traditional Christian observances have been banned. Our entertainment media have even embraced the mission to mock all things traditional and holy. We have sown to the wind and are now reaping a whirlwind of sorrow, confusion and horror. It touches very institutions of our land. Guns are not our problem; rather the sin ravaged human heart unbridled from the restraining power of God’s Holy Word.
Luke 13:33-35 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! 35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”
We pray for comfort, healing and restoration of the lives broken by this most recent example of life in a Christ-less America. We grieve over these lives stolen by evil. And we beg God to grant us repentance and healing from our proud and arrogant ways. Lord Jesus, help us!
