Rusty has sounded the trumpet for us to join together for three days of fasting and prayer July 15-17, 2013.   Remember that in the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17-18) there are two offensive weapons given to us in our spiritual armor.  One is the Word (Rhema) of God, and the other is prayer.

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.  The weapons we fight with are not weapons of the world.  On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.  We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”  2 Corinthians 10: 3-5.

Operation Save America’s Days of Fasting and Prayer

July 15-17, 2013

“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke” (Isaiah 58:6)?

In modern warfare, whenever there has been a major military advance against an enemy, typically, before the boots hit the ground, there are air assaults or naval bombardments unleashed to soften up key targets. As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual. In the battle for the souls of men, the lives of babies, and the future of our nation, Operation Save America is seeking to employ our spiritual weapons of warfare that are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of demonic strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).

This year’s national event is in Rochester, NY. The dates are July 24th-31st, 2013. To help prepare the way of the Lord and to “soften up” the hard ground of child sacrifice and the shedding of innocent blood, we are asking our brother and sisters to join us in a three day period to fast and pray. The dates are Monday, July 15th through Wednesday, July 17th. We are asking all who receive this notice to not only participate in this crucial ministry, but encourage others to participate as well. We need hundreds of saints bombarding the heavens beseeching the Lord to display His mighty arm as we get ready to storm the gates of hell in Rochester, NY.

The Bible teaches, “It is not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord” (Zachariah 4:6). We cannot defeat the forces of darkness with the arm of the flesh. Psalms 33:16, 17 plainly states, “No king is saved by the multitude of an army; a mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.” It is through God that the church can do valiantly for it is He who treads down our enemies (Psalm 60:12). We must have the anointing to destroy the yoke of child sacrifice and set the captives free (Isaiah 10:27).

Rochester is a dark city in an even darker state. They are pro-death in every sense of the word. Tyrannies are multiplied under the reign of Governor Cuomo. We are heading into a land of Goliaths that defy the armies of the living God. They have 6 killing centers and 4 of them are in hospitals. Only 2 are free standing. That means the majority of the murder of the preborn is connected directly to the government’s health care system. In fact, one of the hospitals we will be confronting actually trains future abortionists.

To give you a slight indication of what we might be facing, while I was in Rochester recently working with Mike Warren, our local leader, we went to a park to check out the statue of Fredrick Douglas, American social reformer, orator, writer and statesman. While there, a police man stopped us. What aroused his suspicions? We were wearing Christian T-Shirts with a pro-life message. At least four cop cars came by to check up on the police officer and us. He gathered his information while I challenged him with the connection between Nazi Germany and the American holocaust. I told him, “All the evil in Nazi Germany was legal, but not lawful. Most law officials involved in the holocaust excused their participation in the evil by declaring, ‘I was just doing my job and obeying orders.’ It did not work for them and it will not work with law enforcement here in America.”

Miraculously, he did let me pray for him after our pointed conversation. Obviously, we are no longer under the radar. The “powers that be” know we are coming. It is time to man the battle stations and put on the whole armor of God. Yes, the battle is the Lord’s, but he commands us to go out against them (2 Chronicles 20:15, 16). Our desire is to lift up the banner of praise and worship declaring, “The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever” in Rochester, NY. And as we do, let us trust the Lord to plunder the powers of darkness in Rochester, NY and plant Kingdom seeds that will grow to end child killing in that city in Jesus’ mighty name!
