First Fruits in Wichita

John 9:25, “He answered and said, ‘Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: One thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.’”

As you may well be aware much prayer, intercession, fasting and seeking of God has gone into preparing the way of the Lord for our National Event “Summer of Justice” campaign in Wichita. We have trusted the saints were building a highway in the desert for our God to visit this city of blood. We believed that when the boots hit the ground in Wichita, the combination of prayer working in conjunction with godly action would manifest the presence and power of God. This is to report, we have not been disappointed.

Today at 6 am 12 men and one lady set up our Tent of Meeting in a central location in downtown Wichita. They surrounded the tent and consecrated the grounds and the 24 hour prayer watch to the Lord. I arrived at my time slot at 8 AM. We pressed in with prayer. One of the prayers was to remind the Lord of how He moved back in 1991 during the Summer of Mercy campaign. He literally apprehended souls on their way to work and called them into service at the gates of hell. With brokenness and weeping they came to us and stated, “I don’t know why I’m here, what do you wants us to do?” We led them to the gates of hell, They are arrested and went to jail and God used them to bring the Gospel to the prisoners.

No sooner did the prayer end in Jesus name, we looked to the side of the tent and there was a young man kneeling. He was weeping in the presence of God. Most of us thought he was part of the prayer team. Little did we know that God immediately answered our prayer. Luke was going to take a different route, but “felt” led to come by our way. Something drew him to our tent. I walked over to him and talked. Through sobs he declared, “I fell away from God. He is angry with me. There is zero grace left in my life.”

I told him to stand up, took him in my arms, and said, “Welcome home son.” Again, he burst into tears. I turned him over to Ante to continue to minister to him. Immediately, the phone rang. It was a Wichita Eagle reporter. He asked where we were. He came right over. He took a picture of Ante ministering to Luke and then interviewed him. He asked him a lot of questions. I just overheard one of Luke’s answers. He said, “I don’t know about all that. All I know is that GOD IS HERE!!!”

We do not know if they will run that story and tell the truth. Regardless, it is important that you know the truth and continue to press in with us as we celebrate the first fruits of the Summer of Justice campaign and trust God will continue to do His mighty works amongst the sons of men.
