“Leaders A Time Like This Demands”

“When leaders lead in Israel, when the people willingly offer themselves, Bless the LORD!” (NKJV) -Judges 5:2
In July of this year, Operation Save America held their national event in Louisville, KY. The theme was taken from the book of Esther and called “For Such a time as This!” With the high praises of God in our mouths and a two edged sword (The Word of God) in our hearts, we fought the good fight of faith against the last remaining death camp (abortion mill) in Kentucky (Psalms 149:6). God granted us a worldwide platform as we ministered the Gospel of the Kingdom to transform the culture of death through the truth and love of Christ.
Some of what was accomplished during that glorious week spilled over into Indiana. We sent a team to Indianapolis to help local churches mobilize and minister at the exposed areas (abortion mills) in Indianapolis. They gladly received us. Together, we stormed the gates of hell, knowing full well they will not prevail against the obedient church of the living God.
Our OSA’s regional event, “Leaders a Time Like This Demands” is merely a follow up to prayerfully fan the flame that began in July. The theme for OSA’s regional event is taken from Judges 5:2. God’s Word states, “When leaders lead in Israel, when the people willingly offer themselves, Bless the LORD!” Some translations have other interesting insinuations for this verse. For instance, the CEB (Common English Bible) states, “When hair is long in Israel, when people willingly offer themselves—bless the LORD!” The CJB (Complete Jewish Bible) states, “When leaders in Isra’el dedicate themselves, and the people volunteer, you should all bless ADONAI.”
Taking all three translations of this verse into account, a powerful truth emerges. When leaders, lead, let down their hair as in the case of keeping a Nazarite Vow, and holy dedicate themselves to Adonai, powerful Kingdom manifestations emerge.
These variant translations come together to describe a certain kind of leader a time like this demands. Our nation needs leaders from the church house to the state house who have the eye of the tiger and will not flinch in their duty before God. The holy charge is to be salt and light in our culture of death and perversion. There must be a faithful remnant of leaders committed to discipling our communities, state, and nation once again according to the Great Commission commanded by our Lord (Matthew 28:18-20). Our nation is desperate for leaders who will be like the sons of Issachar, who knew the times and knew what Israel ought to do (1 Chronicles 12:32).
For four nights and three days, there will be intensified on-the-job training to become “Leaders a time like this demands.” We invite pastors, elders, leaders, and state officials to our rallies each night and training sessions each day. There will be a packet of good materials that will help equip those who come to prayerfully lead with solid Biblical principles, time honored truths, and historical lessons. A vision will be cast, Kingdom strategies presented, and Biblical tactics employed. It is our sincere prayer that we can return to Indianapolis to once more come alongside to help the church revive the work of God in the state of Indiana.
