???? While the world celebrated Christmas, Joshua and Chloe (8) and Julian (4) lost a precious gift. ????
Charity’s life unwrapped before their eyes…and she was gone.
Today, Sunday 29th, at 4PM (MST) our family will say goodbye to our daughter. Oasis Community Church in Scottsdale, Arizona will live-stream the service . ???? ????
Words cannot express our shock and grief. Charity’s death came suddenly and unexpectedly. She attributed her symptoms and weakness to a reoccurring flu. Sadly, we learned on Christmas Eve it was much more serious.
By then it was too late.
Our family is still processing…
We never imagined she would be the first to see Jeremiah. We never imagined we would outlive another child. We never imagined we’d have to say goodbye to another loved one so soon.
Our great comfort is in knowing Charity is with her Savior.
God sent His Son to earth as a babe in a manger, to die for our sins. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
Because Charity loved Jesus and believed in His gift, we know she is celebrating “Christmas” eternally in heaven.
In the midst of beeping and blinking hospital monitors, bustling nurses, and sobbing family members, because “Christ the Savior was born,” Charity fell asleep “in heavenly peace.”
Charity is seeing the face of God.
Luke 2:10-11 “But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.’”
Pray for those whose New Year will be without her.
Pray most of all for those whose New Year will be without Him.
