Once again SCOTUS remains consistent in their rebellion to the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Another tyrannical ruling is issued in a long line of Anti-Christ decrees.
According to this idolatrous body, who gave God His official public eviction notice years ago to remove Him from the public life of our nation, you have the legal right to murder babies, parade your sin like Sodom, but no right to assemble as believers in church.
First, no pastor should have gone hat in hand to ask permission from any court to meet as the Ekklesia of the Lord. Second, this ruling is from the pit of hell and is not to be obeyed no matter what the consequences.
The standard the church has followed down through the ages is: “When the State commands us to do what God forbids or forbids us to do what God commands – we are to obey God rather than man.”
No true pastor of the living God needs permission from the state to open up and meet. The name that is above every name, the Supreme Sovereign of the universe has not only granted permission, but commanded believers to meet together in His name to worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
Hebrews declares, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25) As way of reminder, God commanded His people to meet under extreme religious and civil persecution and subsequent penalties.
The book of Acts reveals the threat of government in their day, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us” (Acts 5:28).
Some may believe this does not apply in our day due to the threat of Covid-19. You would be wrong. SCOTUS not only violated the command of God, but the First Amendment of the Constitution as well. The bottom line is the courts are allowing other businesses and entities to open up, but they are commanding the church to remain close, which in reality means “Do not preach and teach in the name of Jesus” until we say you can.
This nation is bereft of godly leadership. Men of God in pulpits around America it is your turn now. If you fail to meet, open up your churches, and defy this tyranny in obedience to God, then you must face this warning from our Lord.
“But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 10:33).
“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels” (Mark 8:38).
This is not a time to cower, give in to fear, and go along to get along. It is time to rise and do what is right before God and let the chips fall where they may. OPEN UP!!!!
