Word for today from Pastor Zack Morgan, Apologia Church.

“The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.” ‭‭(Ezekiel 18:20)‬ ‭

White person (or any other person for that matter), you’re not guilty of the crimes of your father. You’re not required to ask forgiveness for crimes you never committed or for the color of your skin. True and lasting healing and reconciliation is the fruit of proclaiming the gospel, it doesn’t come through the proclamation of guilt you aren’t liable for.

Editors note: America is being hollowed out. We prefer image over substance. White people chaining themselves and groveling to atone for their ancestor’s crimes does not bring the healing, reconciliation, and understanding needed in this desperate hour.

It is humanistic folly that will never get to the root of our woe, which is without Christ and His love and truth burning in our souls, we will never love God or our neighbor as ourselves as God has commanded.

The Apostle Paul declared, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28)

Notice the three main areas the enemy of our souls uses to separate, divide and conquer. The racial divide, Jew nor Greek. The social status divide, slave nor free and the battle between the sexes, male nor female.

This world system influenced by the Fall is a master at manipulating these three main arena’s of human interaction for personal, financial, and political gain. Keeping the races, the haves and the have nots (rich and poor), and the battle of the sexes fomenting against each other serves the demonic realm and all its subsequent evils that we are facing today.

America can continue to treat the symptoms of this Biblical reality or we can repent, return to God, and truly love our neighbor as ourselves. This can only be accomplished by the love of God being shed abroad in our hearts by the power of the Holy Ghost (Romans 5:5).

Repent and believe the Gospel! The Kingdom of God is at hand! This is the only way the true guilt that burdens our souls due to our sins can be pardoned, in order to love one another as our Lord commands.
