Tentative Schedule for OSA’s States of Refuge Campaign 2013

(Notice: time and events are subject to change)

1) Jackson, Mississippi: We are inching closer to the first abortion Free State. We may need to go back like the minute men of old to help secure this victory. Be ready to move when the call is proclaimed.

2) National Event, July 14-20, 2013,  Rochester, NY: has been chosen for this year’s national event. Mike Warren and Jerry Crawford need our help to break up some strong demonic strongholds. They are praying that our coming will revive the church and the ministry needed to defeat child sacrifice in their communities.

3) Washington DC national call: When the firstfruits of the States of Refuge campaign comes to pass and the Lord secures the first abortion free state, we will give the call to come to Washington DC at the Lincoln Memorial for the national unveiling of the Emancipation Proclamtion for the Preborn Child. There may also be a meeting at the Capitol to unveil the scroll of signatures reminiscent of William Wilbeforce unveiling the signatures in Parliament calling for the end of slavery.

4) North Dakota and South Dakota, October: We are planning a regional event sometime in the fall that will cover two of the States of Refuge, North Dakota and South Dakota. North Dakota stands on the verge of passing a personhood amendment. A call to rescue may be in order. The two cities that house the death camps, Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Fargo, Noth Dakota are three and a half hours from each other.

5) There may be other opportunites this year, (Wichita, KS) but this covers most of the year. If you have any questions feel free to contact us. God bless you all as we run the race of faith together and trust the Lord to watch over his Word as we proclaim it throughout our nation in Jesus’ name!

Mike Warren just sent this interview to me of abortionist Nancy Stanwood, a professor  and trainer of future abortionists at The University of Rochester Medical Center.  She was interviewed by Lola Pellegrino on January 22, 2012.  It is eye opening.  ~ Flip

Mike Warren and Jerry Crawford, of Rescue Rochester, have been long time “gentle warriors” for the Gospel of Christ and the lives of preborn children in the city of Rochester, New York.  Recently they had a divine appointment.  Mike’s story about this appointment will bless you. ~ Flip

A few years ago our church viewed a special movie put out by Focus of the Family titled, “A Man Called Norman”; an account of a simple man, who some would say was mentally challenged, yet whose life taught timeless lessons. This past week on the sidewalk in front of the most prestigious employer in Rochester, we met Norman’s twin. He was a simple man, dressed in worn and stained slacks, untied dress shoes and wearing thick glasses. He was probably in his late 60’s and as we passed each other he stopped to ask us why we were holding signs at this hospital.

The University of Rochester Medical Center has become the largest employer in the greater Rochester, NY metropolitan area. It has replaced Kodak, and Xerox hands down. It is a teaching hospital and associated with the nearby University of Rochester. The URMC disciples future abortion providers; it is here that doctor and nursing students are trained in the black art of abortion. As abominable as this is, the URMC has an associated research wing that pioneered various abortion techniques and the RU-486 protocols. Embryonic stem cell research is also ensconced in the hallowed halls of its immense campus. We have C.S. Lewis’s “That Hideous Strength” come to life on Elmwood Ave. The teaching and research faculty boasts PhD’s and Doctorate programs and scientific and intellectual pursuits that make my head spin; it has world renowned reputation. Yet for all the brain trust stockpiled in this medical research and teaching hospital this non descript little old man had more wisdom and common sense in his little finger.

As we passed each other, Norman’s twin stopped turned and asked with simple broken speech, “What Does Your Sign Mean?” One sign read “Many Children Killed Here” and the other, “It’s A Baby Not a Choice”. We explained that the hospital kills babies that were not wanted by their mother. We continued to explain what abortion does; that the doctors kill the babies while they are inside their mamas and that they are then thrown away. The hospital also teaches doctors and nurses how to do this.

He was dumbfounded. He tried to understand. “What do they Do!?” he asked “They kill babies the moms don’t want!?” He then said, “If I killed you on this sidewalk, I would go to jail; these doctors should go to jail! It’s wrong! Why would they do that!?” He continued, “My mommy didn’t want me but foster parents did. I’m alive! These mommies could use adoption.”

This simple man knew more than all the PhDs, professors, doctors, medical students and many of the staff in this teaching hospital. He was wiser than most that sit in Congress and on our judicial benches. He saw with more moral clarity than many of our seminary trained pastors and church leaders. His simple message uttered in front of the rich and highly regarded University of Rochester Medical Center, filled with men and women of worldly letters; revealed a light of truth in a very dark place and exposed the hypocrisy of this medical institution.

 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FOUNDATION FOR MORAL LAW CALLS ON BRIGHTON, NY POLICE TO STOP HARASSING PRO-LIFE MINISTRIES OUTSIDE ABORTION CLINIC

MONTGOMERY, AL — The Foundation for Moral Law sent a letter to the Town of Brighton in western New York yesterday, demanding that the Brighton police and officials stop interfering with pro-life ministry on the public sidewalks outside a local abortion clinic.  On behalf of Rev. Michael Warren and Gerald Crawford, both of Rescue Rochester, and Bound4Life Rochester, the Foundation told Brighton to “cease and desist” its unconstitutional pattern of targeting multiple pro-life activists in their ministry of prayer and sidewalk counseling.

Judge Roy Moore, President of the Foundation for Moral Law and the former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, noted that the Brighton police should be upholding the law: “Those who believe in abortion never cease to try to restrict any opposition to their anti-life agenda. The Brighton police should be upholding the law and the freedom of people to speak up for the God-given right to life rather than running interference for the abortionist.”

In the letter, the Foundation explains that Brighton police officers have been making unwarranted threats against Rev. Warren and Mr. Crawford for their lawful use of pro-life signs and amplification equipment outside the abortion clinic of Dr. Morris Wortman, at 2020 South Clinton Avenue in the Town of Brighton.  Additionally, as if to prove their anti-life bias, Brighton police in September ordered members of the pro-life prayer group Bound4Life Rochester to produce identifying information for simply praying silently on the public sidewalk outside the same clinic.

“Just as unborn children are targeted by the abortionist on the inside, Brighton police have made a habit of targeting pro-life ministry on the public streets outside the abortion mill,” said Foundation attorney Ben DuPré, who along with local New York attorney Kevin Johnson of Klafehn & Heise PLLC, signed the demand letter.  “However much Dr. Wortman and officials of Brighton may dislike Rescue Rochester’s and Bound4Life’s message or even mere presence, the Constitution does not permit the force of law to be used to harass and intimidate pro-life ministry in Brighton.”

Reverend Michael Warren of Rescue Rochester stated, “It is tragic that our judical and law enforcement institutions have been so blinded by the bloodguilt of over 50 million children killed by abortion that they are determined to silence a ministry that offers the one safe choice available to abortion minded women. It’s unfortunate that The Brighton Police Department finds itself co-opted by the pro-abortion political machine. By the grace of God we will continue to be a voice for the voiceless at Rochester area abortion mills.”

The letter concluded by demanding from the Town of Brighton written assurances by November 21, 2011, that pro-life speakers will be allowed to freely engage in the expression of their protected speech on the public sidewalks near and adjacent to Dr. Wortman’s abortion clinic.

The Foundation for Moral Law, a national non-profit legal organization located in Montgomery, Alabama, is dedicated to restoring the knowledge of God in law and government through litigation and education relating to moral issues and religious liberty cases.
