This Open Letter will prayerfully be published in a couple of newspapers while we are in Milwaukee, WI to Complete the Work. If you find any merit, please pass it on in your sphere of influence. Thanks!

The Preborn have Suffered 46 Years of Political Betrayal.

Learn how you can actually end the slaughter.
Paradigm Shift. Milwaukee.

July 13th – 20th

Open Letter to Government Officials and Citizens of the State of Wisconsin
America’s founders understood and established a form of government known as federalism. True federalism understands that all levels of government possess lawful authority.
An important aspect of federalism is that whenever one branch of government begins to play the tyrant, it is incumbent upon all other branches (whether federal, state, county, or local) to resist that branch – even if that branch is the Supreme Court itself.
Wisconsin has a rich history in this regard. In 1859, the Wisconsin legislature and the Wisconsin Supreme Court interposed against the federal government and the U. S. Supreme Court and defied the federal Fugitive Slave Act declaring it “null, void, and of no authority” in the state of Wisconsin.
Wisconsin interposed – Wisconsin simply said no to an unjust law and court opinion.
In our day, it has become painfully clear that the federal judiciary continues to play the tyrant. The U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) has consistently been the dispenser of unjust, immoral, and unconstitutional court opinions, including, preborn babies can be murdered and a man can “marry” a man.
Tragically, governors, state attorney generals, and state legislatures have complied with these unjust and immoral opinions by hiding behind the common song of our day: “The Supreme Court has ruled – all we can do is obey.”
This mantra is a lie. It is not how our founders intended the states to respond to egregious acts of evil by the federal government. Rather, they expected interposition by the states. They expected defiance. The song of their day was “Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.”
The idea that U. S. Supreme Court opinion is “the law of the land” is repugnant to our form of government. The idea that SCOTUS is the final arbiter of what is or is not constitutional is pretend legislation. The idea that all other branches of government must bow down to the court opinions of SCOTUS is legal fiction.
Thomas Jefferson, who penned the Kentucky Resolution of 1798, addressed the idea that the Supreme Court was the “final arbiter” of what is constitutional. He stated, “The Constitution has erected no such single tribunal.”

Men will forbear and so we should for a season, but there comes a point where forbearance becomes sin. There comes a point where forbearance becomes cowardice. There comes a point when men realize they no longer have the convenience of acting indifferent towards the unjust and immoral actions of their government. Our own Declaration of Independence established this truth for America. Thus, we submit to the state of Wisconsin that the lawlessness of the federal judiciary should no longer be forborne.

We submit to you that the murder of the preborn should not be forborne. The perverting of marriage and a host of other evils by the federal judiciary should not be forborne.

A little-known doctrine in our day that has been employed by men for thousands of years and has proven to peaceably rein in the lawless acts of government officials is the doctrine of the lesser magistrate. The doctrine simply stated is:
Whenever the higher-ranking civil authority makes unjust, immoral, or constitutionally repugnant laws, policies, or court opinions, the lower-ranking civil authority has both the God-given right and duty not to obey the superior authority, and if necessary, actively resist it.
You can learn more about interposition and the doctrine of the lesser magistrate at the website, DefyTyrants.com. May Christ rally your hearts to righteousness and justice. May Wisconsin make redemptive history. May you lead the way to protect the preborn and preserve the God ordained institution of marriage in Jesus’ name! (2 Samuel 23:3)

Here is the sign up sheet for the prayer teams need in Milwaukee. Please pass this on in your sphere of influence. Even if people can’t make it to the event, they can sign up and pray at their locations.

PS: If you know of any prayer or intercessory groups ask them to fervently pray for our OSA national event in Milwaukee from July 13-20th. The more we can accomplish through prayer before hand, the more effectual our service will be when the boots hit the ground. Thanks!

Prayer Preparation for our National Event in Milwaukee:

God first opened my eyes, broke my heart, and recruited me into the battle against child sacrifice and the shedding of innocent blood back in the Fall of 1988. Being a blood bought child of God, praying to God on a consistent basis was almost like an involuntary function. It was necessary as breathing. It was unthinkable to do otherwise. God had invaded my thoughts, filled my heart, and was guiding my life. Of course, communications with the Almighty would be paramount.

There have been many skirmishes, battles, and conflicts along the way as I sought to bring forth fruit meet for repentance to love my preborn neighbor as myself. Though I never purposely wanted to use prayer as a cop out for godly action, I did recognize that prayer should fuel actions in accordance with God’s will.

Prayer is foundational to under-gird everything done to vanquish baby murder from our land. Powerful intervention from God takes place when the saints beseech heaven with frequency and intensity.

In the book of Revelation, we get a glimpse of the prayers of the saints ascending to heaven and their impact upon earth. Revelation 8:3-5 describes this phenomenon:

Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.

As God’s people pray, it comes up to His throne and is placed upon a golden altar. Apparently, our prayers are mingled with some kind of divine incense, which produces smoke. At some point, an angel adds to the prayers of the saints and the smoke of the incense, fire. Once completed, it is cast to the earth and mighty manifestations of God’s power are unleashed upon earth.

Most are familiar with the term bowl that is frequently used to describe God’s judgment being poured out on the earth. Seven bowls are presented throughout the book of Revelation. Each contains a different judgment. Before the pouring begins, however, it is interesting to discover how the bowls are filled.

Revelation 5:8 reveals the source that fills the bowls, “Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.”

As we prepare to go back to Milwaukee, our prayers need to go up to fill God’s bowl of justice to be poured out against the injustice of baby murder defiling Wisconsin and our nation. We need an open heaven.

I’m asking that you pass on this charge to pray to your families, churches, and friends. For several months already, a couple of times a week, consistent intercession has gone up to the Throne of Grace, pleading with God to empower us by His Spirit to be effectual in our service to Complete the Work in Milwaukee.

I beseech you to take this prayer charge seriously with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. We desperately need God to intervene. This is one of the major ways in which that takes place in time and history.

Begin Now

“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James:5:16)

Calling all prayer warriors and intercessors to your battle stations. We have about a month and a half left before boots hit the ground in Milwaukee to Complete the Work.
To those who are coming and for those who cannot make it, would you consider preparing the Lord’s way through prayer to use His church to advance His Kingdom to defeat the culture of death and set the captives free?

Please set apart time in your devotions to lift up this Kingdom endeavor to the Throne of Grace that we would all be vessels of honor fit for the Master’s use and prepared for this good work in Jesus’ name (2 Timothy 2:21)!

Please pass this prayer request on to any prayer and intercessory groups that you may know. This is critical for our success in serving God on the battlefield for the souls of men, the lives of children, and the future of our blood stained, perverted land.

Three Days of Fasting and Prayer
July 8-10, 2019

“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke” (Isaiah 58:6)?

The next phase of prayer to intensify our effectiveness on the ground in Milwaukee will be three days set apart to fast and pray. We will start on Monday, July 8th and finish on Wednesday, July 10th, 2019. Fasting is a spiritual discipline that many modern-day Christians have either forsaken or simply ignore.

Jesus taught when you fast, not if (Matthew 6:16-18). He also revealed its spiritual potency. He taught fasting and prayer increased our effectiveness against demonic strongholds (Matthew 17:21).

Need I remind you; we are going up against Satan crown jewel, child sacrifice. The abortion mills in Milwaukee are modern day altars of Moloch and high places. They need to be plucked up, rooted out, overthrown, and vanquished from Wisconsin. Fasting and prayer are two spiritual weapons we need to employ to get the job done in Jesus name!

24 Prayer Tent

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16).

Starting 8 am Saturday morning, July 13th, at a strategic location in Milwaukee a 24-hour prayer watch will commence. We will need 12 teams made up of 4 prayer warriors to fill a two-hour slot all day and night long. It will end on Sunday morning 8 am, July 14th.

Local and national leaders will help oversee this Tent of Meeting. From there we plan on establishing a prayer team from Monday, July 15th-Friday, July 19th. This prayer team will be responsible from 8 am to 4 pm to cover all our activities as we storm the gates of hell. The set up will be 4 teams of 4 prayer warriors that covers a 2-hour prayer slot.

If any of our national folks are interested in being a part of this intercession team, please contact Pastor Ante, Alias Charles Finney on Facebook. We will need to coordinate with the locals to see this happen in Jesus’ name!

Keep pressing on saints to the high call and prize. Hope to see you in Milwaukee from July 13-20, 2019 to Complete the Work!

Head’s Up:

OSA has local brethren in St. Louis who are keeping their eye on the last surgical death camp left in the state of Missouri. This grisly Planned Parenthood may be shut down soon.

Through the years, OSA, working in conjunction with the faithful saints locally, have stormed this gate of hell a few times besieging it with the Gospel of the Kingdom. It’s demise was proclaimed and its defeat was expected.

When this comes to pass, we will head to St. Louis to give glory to God and have a celebration of praise service.

Does this mean justice has come to Missouri if the last death camp is gone? No! Abortion must be viewed as a crime and penalized by law and then full and complete victory will be secured.

BTW, we are working on that aspect of the battle as well. More details to come soon.

Time to mark your calendars, rally the youth, and make plans to join us for our Operation Rescue/Operation Save America’s national event in Milwaukee, WI to COMPLETE THE WORK. The dates are July-13-20th.

The righteous goal is to equip, train, and pour into this next generation the Biblical, historical, and governmental truths they will need to take their place in the battle.

Whatever our generation leaves undone, they must Complete the Work.

Important Announcement:

The following teaching will be the basis for our new website and Facebook page that deals directly with the second victim fallacy promoted by the pro-life movement.

We not only are planning to get the website and Facebook page up and running soon, but we will also create drop cards to promote it amongst our families, churches, pro-life groups, and magistrates.

Stay tuned and be ready to submit videos, pictures, and any solid Biblical teachings that reveals God’s truth, which has the power to set men and nations free in Jesus’ name!

In the great struggle to establish justice and end the suffering of the preborn, certain fallacies have arisen to convince the church and pro-life movement to not properly act on their belief that abortion should be stopped. Chief among them is the second victim mentality. This falsehood presents the mother as well as the baby being murdered as both victims of abortion. Slogans, such as, “Love them both” abound.

To love someone and not tell them the truth is not the love of God in operation. Christians are commanded to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). The church is called to establish the Micah Mandate in the earth, “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8; Matthew 23:23; Isaiah 1:16, 17)?

The divine order is critical in God’s economy. Justice must first be established before mercy can be dispensed. All this demonstrates humility before God. In other words, if criminals do not perceive their guilt, they will never seek mercy. They will arrogantly persist in their sinful, rebellious and criminal ways. Proverbs 28:13 reveals, “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” These are the Biblical conditions to obtain mercy.

True Biblical Evangelism

Guilty sinners will never treasure the good news of the Gospel of the Kingdom until they are fully convinced of the bad news. Our sin (Violating God’s law) has separated us from our Creator and His wrath abides on us (John 3:36). Only by coming into agreement with God’s assessment (Confess the horrible truth about ourselves) and by meeting His terms of surrender can we be saved. All of us must repent of our sin, place our faith in Christ alone, and receive the power of the Holy Spirit to transform our lives (Acts 2:38). Otherwise, we will perish in our sin and be condemned for all eternity (John 8:24).

To assure someone one who is guilty of violating God’s holy commandment, “thou shall not murder” that they are victims is abhorrent to God. It is a violation of His Law/Word and a major disservice to the souls of women staggering under the weight of blood guiltiness who desperately need God’s deliverance.

Moreover, the second victim fallacy fails to meet God’s demand for justice and makes a mockery of American jurisprudence, which is equal justice under the law. We must remember that God puts no difference between the preborn child and the born child. Each child in the womb is made in His image and therefore, should be welcomed in life and protected by law.

Lex Talionis

Exodus 21:22-25 records:

If men fight, and hurt a woman with child, so that she gives birth prematurely, yet no harm follows, he shall surely be punished accordingly as the woman’s husband imposes on him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. But if any harm follows, then you shall give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

This passage of Scripture is known as the Lex Talionis. It deals directly with the justice God demands on the behalf of the child in the womb. It also reveals the proper penalties associated with crime. The penalty should fit the crime, no more or no less. It is the golden rule applied to justice (Luke 6:31).

The church and pro-life must be consistent if our prophetic witness is to be considered credible. We cannot make truth claims like abortion is murder and then in the legal realm not hold people accountable for their crimes. Our witness rings hollow.

This is where those who desire to outlaw abortion altogether get accused of hatred for women. Why is that? We reject the second victim ideology and simply desire to come into agreement with God on the nature of the crime of abortion and His demand for justice by penalizing it by law.

The state needs to do its duty under God. Civil government was ordained by God with a two-fold purpose: Magistrates must restrain evil. God established civil government to make sure mankind never descends back to the precondition wickedness that preceded Noah’s flood (Genesis 6:5, 6). Magistrates must also use their God ordained authority to protect life and stop the shedding of innocent blood (Genesis 9:6). Thomas Jefferson, our third President concurred. He stated, “The care of human life and not its destruction is the one and only object of good government.” Since Roe vs. Wade, our government has betrayed its sacred trust and has ended up defending the indefensible.

Church and State Responsibilities before God

According to Romans 13:1-4, civil government must punish the evildoer (As God defines evil) and protect those who are good in God’s sight (As God defines good). This is its duty before God who ordained and established civil government for His glory and our benefit.

The church needs to do its duty as well by ministering the Gospel of the Kingdom to set sinners and criminal free. Jesus calls the church to prison ministry (Matthew 25:26). It was one of the major marks of the righteous sheep who loves and cares for “the least of these.”

The state is a delegated authority under God. It is ordained by God to be the ministry of justice. It is to be concerned about protecting the life, liberty, and property of men and nations. The church is the ministry of grace. It is to be concerned about the spiritual and moral welfare of men and nations. The church teaches the law of God and the state enforces it as it applies to the civil realm. Magistrates must not carry the sword in vain, which they have done in the case of abortion (Romans 13:4).

These two aspects of God’s virtue, justice (state) and mercy (church), are not in contradiction to each other, but in complete harmony with His character and will in the earth.

Closing the Loophole on Roe vs. Wade

Unless the church and the pro-life movement reject the second victim ideology, they will be condemned to labor on the pro-life hamster wheel that is bottlenecked by the Supreme Court. Our political strategy will be confined to regulating baby murder, instead of ending it according to God’s will (Jeremiah 5:28). We will continue to seek to evade Roe and appease evil, rather than establishing justice as God demands. The church and the pro-life movement must deal with the root of this bloody idolatrous tree, if our nation will ever be cleansed and this grave evil vanquished.

Texas State Statute Did Not Reflect God’s Justice

It is because the state statute of Texas did not reflect the justice of God, the Supreme Court felt justified in ruling in favor of child sacrifice and the shedding of innocent blood.

Roe was issued in part precisely because Texas did NOT prosecute the mother for murder and the abortionist would only get a slap on the wrist. In other words, the Supreme Court made this iniquitous decree based upon the fact that Texas desired the court to treat the baby in the womb as a person like you and me, but due to the fact there was no penalty for the woman committing homicide and the lightest possible penalty for the abortionist, American now has the blood of countless millions of children staining our guilty hands. As a result, God’s just judgment weighs heavily upon us.

This is from the Roe decision:

There are other inconsistencies between Fourteenth Amendment status and the typical abortion statute. It has already been pointed out, n. 49, supra, that, in Texas, the woman is not a principal or an accomplice with respect to an abortion upon her. If the fetus is a person, why is the woman not a principal or an accomplice? Further, the penalty for criminal abortion specified by Art. 1195 is significantly less than the maximum penalty for murder prescribed by Art. 1257 of the Texas Penal Code. If the fetus is a person, may the penalties be different? [Endnote 54]

The court was making it clear. Don’t say the preborn child is a person and abortion is murder, if the woman is not culpable for prosecution. Until the church and the pro-life movement come into agreement with God on these self-evident truths, their motives may be well intended, but their worldview, faith, and the godly actions necessary to abolish abortion will be weighed in the balance and found wanting.

The Law is not Just Punitive in Nature, it is also a Teacher

“Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith” (Galatians 3:24).

Finally, what happens to a nation when the laws of men contradict or countermand the Law of God? First, they are no laws at all. So says 1800 years of recorded history in Western civilization. Divine law trumps human law.

Sir William Blackstone, who wrote Commentaries on the Laws of England was one of three human sources in history besides the Bible that our founding fathers quoted at length to bequeath to us our American form of government. In fact, until recent times, one could not become a lawyer in America, unless one had a thorough knowledge of Blackstone’s works.

Blackstone taught that there were two foundations for human law. He stated, “Upon these two foundations, the law of nature (The eternal laws of good and evil that God has written on every human heart) and the law of revelation (The Holy Bible), depend all human laws; that is to say, no human laws should be suffered to contradict these.”

Besides this foundation for law, according to our own Constitution, courts cannot make law. That is reserved for the legislative branch of our government. Article one, section one of the Constitution clearly states, “All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.” This leaves no authority whatsoever for courts to make law. Roe vs. Wade has never and will never be the law of the land. It is the lie of the land, which has wiped out one/third of entire generation and counting.

What has Roe vs. Wade taught Americans for over 46 years? Law does not have a moral basis rooted in God’s commandments. Law is based upon the fickle nature of fallible men and women. We cringe in horror when we consider Rome established paterfamilias and rightly so. Back then, children lived or died based upon the capricious whims of fathers. If the father thought the child was a weakling or did not want the responsibility to raise his children, he would give a thumbs down. Immediately, the child was rushed to the infanticide wall where either the elements or beasts would devour children. It was Christians who rescued them and raised them in the faith.

Thousands of years later, a tyrannical oligarchy called the Supreme Court transferred that unlawful authority to women. It is the woman who can now give a thumbs up or down, which will determine if children made in the image of God will live or die. And with a straight face, Americans believe this is the basis of law that should govern our nation. How deceived can a nation become?

What else has Roe taught our culture of death, which it established? If you have a problem you can’t handle, kill it. If you will not be responsible for your own actions, eliminate it. The root of the problem is not fornication, adultery, and other deviant sexual practices that need to stop. No, it the innocent baby in the womb that is the source of our woes. It is the children that need to be torn apart, their heads decapitated, and their precious bodies poisoned to empower women. It is therefore the duty of women to deny their motherly instincts to nurture and commit the unspeakable against their own flesh and blood.

Our nation has learned these lessons well. Vileness, coarseness, blasphemy, and lawlessness afflict our nation as women who commit this brutal act are considered victims. This website is dedicated to dispelling that myth and demonstrate the truth that has the power to set the captives free.

Most who view women as victims in abortion have never or rarely been to abortion clinics to minister the Gospel of the Kingdom. If they had, their opinion would change immediately. Please educate yourselves. Look at these videos, pictures, and pass this on to your family, churches, pro-life groups and your magistrates.

Lastly, there are women who have been true victims in abortion. God knows and so do those who consistently minister at the death camps. They are rare, but there are women who have been coerced to commit this crime. Our homicide laws already take that into consideration when determining guilt or innocence. To end the American holocaust, however, we must reject the second victim ruse and demand equal justice and equal treatment under the law. This is the main opening that keeps abortion legal and it must end now, if abortion will ever be abolished in Jesus’ name!

#notvictims

This is my response to the new Vice article bemoaning the fact that abolitionism is taking root in the Evangelical church, which does not bode well for the future of the American holocaust.

“I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice ! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue!”

I believe this is a quote from Barry Goldwater and is proper and fitting in the current battle to end child sacrifice and the shedding of innocent blood in our defiled land.

Keep pressing on saints! Even the world is seeing the writing on the wall. Abortion is being weighed in the balance and found wanting. May the Lord arise and smash this bloody idolatry once and for all in Jesus’ mighty name!

Here is a link to the article:

It is long and written from and Anti-Christ worldview.

This is the latest from Pastor Matt Trewhella, our host pastor for the OSA National Event in Milwaukee, WI from July 13-20th, 2019.

This is the political environment that we will be running into as we seek the forceful advance of God’s Kingdom to abolish abortion in WI.

Put on the full armor of God, mark your calendars, rally others, (especially the youth) and make plans to join us to COMPLETE THE WORK in Jesus’ name!

We received a phone call today from a reporter from Huntsville, AL. She desired to speak with a local representative from OSA. She was interested in our response to this new abortion ban in AL that has made national news. I gave her a few local contacts and discussed briefly the ramifications of this new law.

Before I talked with the reporter, I first talked with Pastors, Matt Trewhella and Jon Speed. I was not fully informed of this new law, so, I asked these dear brothers their take on this development in AL.

Their counsel was the basis of my response.

First, the strength of this new law clearly demonstrates that people in AL want to stop the killing of the preborn. This is a good thing. It also demonstrates that our pursuit of the paradigm shift to abolish abortion is having impact in our nation. Lastly, as far as an incremental, pro-life law, it is the furthest towards the truth than any other law before it.

There are weak areas as well that we as abolitionists cannot fully support. First, there are still exceptions, which include the life and mental health of the mother. This means abortion would still be legal in some cases in AL.

We must remember it has always been the exceptions in abortion that cracked the door to allow abortion on demand in the first place. Pro-aborts love to use worst case scenarios to pull on America’s heart string to make what was once unspeakable, mainstream. They have and continue to be successful using the strategy to deceive well meaning people to go along with their godless agendas.

Second, the new law does not protect itself from the tyranny of the courts. Any law we pass to outlaw abortion must defy and ignore the courts. Otherwise, we will spend countless money, time, effort, and manpower only to have a godless oligarchy smash it and rule it unconstitutional. They have done this for 46 years with no let up in sight.

Lastly, and I know this is the most controversial of all, there is no penalty against the woman who murders her child with blood money. In case we forget, it was that one issue reflected in the Texas statues, that convinced the Supreme Court to rule in favor of Roe vs. Wade.

Their reasoning was that Texas expected the Supreme Court to treat the child in the womb as a person, but the Texas law did not penalize the woman procuring abortions and the penalty against the abortionists was minimal. So, since there was no equal justice and equal treatment under the law in Texas, our nation has been polluted and defiled by child sacrifice and the shedding of innocent blood ever since.

Until the church and the pro-life movement deals principally with these 3 open doors that the enemy still exploits to keep regulating baby murder, we will not be able to end the American holocaust state by state.

We must end all exceptions!

Second, all abortion abolitionist bills in the states must have in it a provision that declares once the law is passed, the states will not answer to any court. If the court ignores the Constitution, the states will ignore the courts. It is just that simple.

Lastly, we must not be ashamed of God and His Word. God puts no difference between the preborn child in the womb and the born child.

Exodus 21:22-25 teaches God’s concern for justice for the preborn. It is His Lex Talionis of crime and punishment. The punishment should suit the crime, no more and no less. It is the golden rule applied to justice.

The church must be consistent if our prophetic witness is to be considered credible. We cannot make truth claims like abortion is murder and then in the legal realm not hold all people involved in the murder accountable in a court of law.

This must of necessity include the mother. If she pays somebody to murder her child, she is not a victim, but a criminal. Otherwise, our Biblical integrity is greatly compromised and our moral witness and authority is deeply flawed.

This is where we get accused of hatred for the sinner, simply because of our desire to come into agreement with God on the nature of the crime of abortion and His demand for justice by penalizing it by law.

The state needs to do its duty under God by punishing the evildoer and the church needs to do its duty by ministering the Gospel of the Kingdom to set the sinner free. One is the ministry of justice (State) concerned about the physical welfare of men and nations and the other is the ministry of (grace) concerned about the spiritual welfare of men and nations.

These 2 aspects of God’s virtue, justice and mercy, are not in contradiction of each other, but in complete harmony with His character and will in the earth.

I hope this helps as we wrestle through the implications and ramifications of pursuing the end of the American holocaust. IGNORE ROE! ESTABLISH JUSTICE! ABOLISH ALL ABORTION NOW!

How Did HB 896 Die?

These are days of mourning in Texas.

HB 896 is dead, and it was killed by self-proclaimed “pro-life” Republicans.

As you know, HB 896–courageously filed and championed by State Representative Tony Tinderholt–would have abolished abortion in Texas. It would have completely outlawed abortion in our state.

It would have followed the constitution and ignored and challenged the unconstitutional and evil opinion of Roe v. Wade.

HB 896 would have taught around 28 million Texans, and the rest of the world watching, that life is precious from conception and that preborn persons are not second-class persons (or worse), but that they share equal value with each and every one of us who have already been born.

It would have honored God in Whose image and by Whom we are all fashioned in our mothers’ wombs.

It would have ended our legislative practice of regulating abortion like it is some kind of business instead of outlawing it like the crime against humanity it is.

HB 896 would have been fruit of repentance as a state for allowing and sometimes approving of this prenatal holocaust which incinerates the lives and bodies of our own posterity.

And HB 896 would have provided equal protection for the lives of more than 110,000 Texas babies who are expected to be murdered by abortion between now and the next legislative session.

But HB 896 will never do any of those things.

Because HB 896 is dead.

Monday was the deadline for the committee chairman, Rep. Jeff Leach (R-Allen), to hold a vote on the bill.

Instead, Chairman Leach chose to kill it.

Just look at these headlines about Chairman Leach since the hearing:

“Plano Republican Lawmaker Halts Bill To Outlaw Abortion”

“This Republican Texas lawmaker halted a bill to outlaw abortion…”

“A GOP Texas lawmaker halted a bill to outlaw abortion…”

Of course, Chairman Leach was not the only person who opposed the bill.

But even if every single other person on the committee had supported it, Chairman Leach had made a pledge he would not let the bill get out of his committee alive.

And as chairman, Rep. Leach was the only one with the power to do that.

I’m not saying any of this to vilify Rep. Leach, and none of it is personal, I just want everyone to know the facts about what he did.

Now some will say that the bill really died because Rep. Tinderholt refused to compromise.

However, that claim is not true.

Rep. Tinderholt certainly did stand strong for equal protection (for which we are grateful), but Chairman Leach and the other committee members always held the power to amend the bill even without Rep. Tinderholt agreeing to compromise.

In other words, even if they opposed equal protection, if they were sincerely committed to outlawing abortion this session, they could have changed the bill themselves.

But they didn’t.

That should tell us everything we need to know.

Chairman Leach didn’t need Rep. Tinderholt to compromise, he just used that as an excuse.

That’s called an “insincere objection” in politics.

But there’s even more to the story.

Even though he had promised the hearing would be earlier, Chairman Leach delayed giving HB 896 a hearing until two days after April 6.

That’s important because the bill needed to be heard before that day to guarantee it would get to the House floor for a vote.

So to be clear, Leach withheld a hearing on the bill until he was sure the next committee could kill it, with or without a hearing.

Because even more importantly, and more disappointing, it looks like killing all significant pro-life and abolitionist legislation was the plan of House leadership–which includes Chairman Leach–from the beginning.

Look at these other bills that also died yesterday:

HB 1500 – Prohibiting abortion after a heartbeat is detected – DEAD (In fact, even with 62 co-authors, the “heartbeat bill” was dead on arrival because the House speaker chose to assign it to a committee with a staunchly pro-abortion chair.)

HB 2434 – Prohibiting certain abortions after 20 weeks and certain discriminatory abortions – DEAD (killed by a “pro-life” chair.)

I point out these two bills in particular because, in addition to the Republican Party of Texas legislative priority to completely abolish abortion, both of these bills were also legislative priorities.

But now they’re also dead.

I could go on, but consider this: of the 29 House bills filed under the subject of abortion, 25 are dead as of yesterday.

In fact, only one has been passed by the House at all, HB 16.

And guess who the author of HB 16 is?

Rep. Jeff Leach.

And guess who was the chairman of the committee that heard and voted on HB 16?

Chairman Jeff Leach.

And guess whether that bill will prohibit any abortions?

No.

So what does HB 16 do?

It says that you cannot kill a child who has already been born, even if they were born after an abortion.

This would not prevent any abortions–the baby has already been born (in fact, some have said it would incentivise the abortionist to do a better job the first time).

More importantly, though, while the bill may sound nice, it was essentially already the law.

It has always been illegal to kill a born baby or leave him or her to die.

The only real thing that HB 16 does is give “pro-life” politicians an alibi.

It’s a sheer fig leaf for an emperor who has no clothes.

By passing HB 16, they can claim to voters that they passed a “pro-life” bill.

All the while, they were behind the scenes killing bills that would have actually stopped abortions.

I know it sounds pretty ridiculous, but that’s the real story about what is going on in our legislature, and I wanted to explain it to you so you would be equipped to explain it to others.

So as we think about what has happened with HB 896, I want to ask you to do three things.

First, please stop to genuinely consider and mourn the 110,000 fellow human beings who are expected to be murdered by abortion over the next two years in our state.

The Bible tells us that God blesses those who sigh and cry over the bloodshed that is committed in their land.

Second, do not despair.

We made tremendous progress this session which I will be going over in a future email.

Much more importantly, though, God is still on His throne.

Finally, I want to ask you to remember what has transpired.

I want us to remember that it was a “pro-life” Republican who stopped the only bill that would end abortion in Texas.

I want you to never forget.

I want to remind us all that we as citizens need to be vigilant about who we support and vote for in BOTH the General Election AND the Primary.

In fact, Primary Elections are often the more important of the two, as it’s the Primary that actually determines who holds the seat in many districts.

The legislative session finishes at the end of this month.

But not long after it ends, legislators will be back home in their districts asking for your money and your vote again.

I know the events of this session are a lesson to me, as I hope they are to all of us:

Never forget.

There are people who will tell us they want to abolish abortion, but who quietly worked to kill legislation that would have actually abolished abortion.

We need to remember to look past their words and look at their actions.

If abortion is ever to be abolished during the lawmaking season, we citizens of Texas need to do a better job during the election season of recruiting, supporting, electing, and holding our elected officials accountable to the pro-life promises they make.

While HB 896 may be dead, I believe that the Christians of Texas are coming to life!

You are proof of that, and I sincerely thank you for standing with us this session and beyond.

I have much more to report–very positive news about the progress we’ve made together–but today I will close with just asking you to spend some time crying out to God and asking for His mercy on our state.

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Let it be, Lord, let it be.
