Just completed our new OSA Gospel tract that we are making ready for our National Event. It was sent to a dear bother who is going to format it and add graphics. It should be ready to copy and distribute soon. I’ll send out the pdf file soon to those who are interested in using it for outreaches.

Three Inescapable Truths

“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31b, 32).

In the business venture of precious metals, the rule of thumb is rarity determines value. It is the scarceness of a jewel that increases its price. Absolute truth, therefore, should be highly prized among men and nations. Tragically, for many that is not the case. Jesus Christ, who is Almighty God in the flesh, determined the value set upon the concept of truth. According to Him, it is the one and only liberating force available to our poor fallen world filled with disobedience, darkness, disease, despair, and death (Matthew 1:23; John 1:14).

It is in the Holy Bible, the all-time bestselling book in the history of man, (and the most scrutinized) where we can safely find the four-fold source of truth. Mercifully, it has the power to set free captive humanity.

First, the Bible is a self-authenticating book. Its 66 books combined faithfully records God’s Word to our fallen race. In Jesus’ High Priestly prayer, He stated, “Sanctify them (Christians) by Your truth. Your word is truth” (John17:17). The Bible is the book of truth. Other religions and so-called “holy books” may have some semblance of truth, but the Bible contains the truth and nothing but the truth with a capital T. Contrary to popular opinion, there are no errors, contradictions, or inconsistencies contained within the sacred scrolls.

Second, Jesus is the person of truth. Ephesians 4:21 affirms, “If indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus.” Jesus was promised in the Old Testament to the tune of 300 specific prophecies. He was born, lived, ministered, died, and rose from the dead to fulfill each one in order to establish His salvation truth in the earth. He declared that He was the way, the life, and the truth. No man comes to the Father except by Him (John 14:6).

Jesus did not just make truth claims like other religious leaders. He presented Himself as truth personified. In fact, when questioned by Pilate as to His claim of being a King and what the nature of truth was, Jesus responded, “For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice” (John 18:37). In other words, if a soul is a truth seeker, he will eventually hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, who laid down His life for His sheep (John 10:11).

Third, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. There are many spirits in the world that carry many voices and varied messages. Most of them, except one, are deceptive in nature. They exist to mislead unsuspecting souls astray that they might be devoured by lies, which leads to their earthly and eternal destruction.

In the midst of this delusion, John 16:13 decrees, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”

The last bastion of truth is found in the church of the living God. The Apostle Paul stated, “but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15).

The church has the awesome and fearful responsibility to not only preserve the integrity of God’s truth, but to make sure the church maintains its true meaning. Nehemiah 8:8 states, “So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading.”

The Apostle Paul admonished the church, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). The Scriptures are of no private interpretation, therefore, the church has the duty before God to preach with integrity God’s Word and preserve its true meaning as God intended (2 Peter 1:20). It is extremely important that you go to a church that takes serious this sacred duty before God. Men’s opinions and interpretations of the Bible do not set mankind free; only God’s truth can accomplish that merciful goal. Know this as well; all false religions and cults contain some aspect of God’s truth. Tragically, they also mix enough lies and religious misinformation to deceive souls to hell, if those souls foolishly believe and follow in their pernicious ways (2 Peter 2:1-3).

First Inescapable Truth

Now that a proper truth foundation has been laid, it is time to be careful how we build (1 Corinthians 3:10) The first inescapable truth one must deal with in order to come to the saving grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ is God is Holy. Out of all God’s other divine attributes, holiness is central to God’s character.

When Isaiah the prophet got a glimpse of God’s majesty in heaven, he heard and saw amazing Kingdom realities. Isaiah 6:1-3 describes this powerful encounter with the living God. The prophet records the cry of angels who fly to and fro in God’s throne room, “And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!” Out of all the attributes of God that could have been exclaimed, it was God’s holiness that unified the chorus of angels who were up and close and personal with the Almighty.

Why is this attribute important for you to understand? Because God is holy, He cannot abide sin. His pure holiness hates it and He will not tolerate it. Nothing sinful will survive His holy presence. Sin and sinful people will be judged by the standard of God’s holiness, which are His righteous commandments. In fact, sin is the violation of God’s commandments (1 John 3:4). It is this sinful problem that alienates us from our Creator. God’s holiness stands in direct opposition against our sinfulness.

Second Inescapable Truth

God is just! He is the God of all justice. He loves justice (Psalms 37:28). The very foundation of His throne is built upon the pillars of righteousness and justice (Psalms 89:14). Therefore, He charges all men everywhere to “to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8).

Because God is just, His justice demands that He punish sin, disobedience, and rebellion. When God addressed human courts in Israel, He demanded, “You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous (Deuteronomy 16:19). God practices what He commands. When it comes to our evil, sin, and crimes, He cannot be bribed nor will He turn a blind eye or deaf ear to our immorality and injustice. He is a just judge who will pass sentence upon every person according to what we have spoken and done in this earth. None of us escapes His demand for justice and the punishment He renders for violating it.

Third Inescapable Truth

God is Love (1 John 4:8). His desire is that we know the height, depth, width, and length of His everlasting love (Ephesians 3:18). Because God is love, He made a way for sinful people like you and me to be reconciled back to Him through the love and truth of Christ, our Savior. Pay close attention to this verse of Scripture. It is glorious good news. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him” (Romans 5:8, 9).

He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Through our Lord bearing the agony of that cruel cross as a sacrifice for our sins, He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus (Romans 3:26). Jesus Christ became the propitiation for our sins through his shed blood. That means that God’s demand for holiness and justice was fulfilled by the sacrifice of His only begotten Son (John 3:16). What we could never do for ourselves, Jesus Christ accomplished on our behalf. We owed a debt, we could never pay. He paid a debt, He did not owe. This is the basis for the song, Amazing Grace, who saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I’m found. I was blind but now I see.

These truths were presented to you on this day in the hopes that it will become the day of your salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). The early church burst on the scene 2000 years ago as the glorious Gospel sounded forth. As men’s hearts were convicted of their sins, they cried out, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:37, 38). It is my sincere prayer that you will repent and believe the Gospel. The Kingdom of God is at hand!

First Video: Pastor Matt Trewhella Exposes the Legal Fiction and Pretend Legislation of the Supreme Court.

At the tyrant's lair (Milwaukee Federal Courthouse), where unconstitutional edicts are declared to murder the innocent, Pastor Matt Trewhella speaks on behalf of abortion abolitionists interposing for those being devoured under a color of law.

Second Video: Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas Preaches on the Important Doctrine of Interposition.

Pastor Rusty Thomas, Director of Operation Rescue/Operation Save America, stands with those who interposes on behalf of the innocent slated for death.

Posted by Dan Holman on Thursday, March 16, 2017

This message of interposition was preached at a federal court in Milwaukee, Wisconsin yesterday morning in the cold.

The Bible and history define and grant great examples to teach us the important doctrine of interposition. It can be summed up in Ezekiel 22. The nation of Israel was in a mess. The prophet, priest, prince, and citizen had corrupted themselves greatly in the eyes of God. As God beheld their lawlessness, He called for someone to stand in the gap and make up the hedge, lest He bring their evil upon their own heads. Tragically, He found none and the hammer fell.

The Patriarchs, the Prophets, our Lord, and His Apostles all heralded the importance of interposition. Jeremiah declared, “Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem; See now and know; And seek in her open places If you can find a man, if there is anyone who executes judgment, who seeks the truth, and I will pardon her.”

A good friend of mine, Michael Anthony Peroutka gave a great analogy to vividly reveal the doctrine of interposition. He talked about parents who brought home a family dog to bless their children. One day, however, the family dog, who once acted in a benevolent manner turned malevolent and attacked the children. Upon hearing the screams, the fearful parents rushed out and put themselves between the mad animal and rescued their abused children. This is interposition.

The federal government has become the mad dog and it is up to the state magistrate to interpose as the parent to protect the citizens under their jurisdiction from the hell that has come out of Washington DC to murder children and corrupt our nation.

Numbers 16 gives another great example on a national level. Once again, Israel had gone astray and pushed Moses and the Lord to the brink. God’s wrath went out and many people died. Finally, through intercession, Moses instructs Aaron to go with a censor to stand between God’s wrath and His people, between the living and the dead. As a result, the plague was stayed and the nation spared.

Today, we are here to let you know Federal Courts, we have gone with this message to individuals, to churches, and to communities. We are now taking this message to the state magistrates. We are demanding they interpose between your oppression, lawlessness, and corruption and the innocent victim, the preborn child, that you have targeted for destruction by an iniquitous decree in Jesus’ name!

This is a letter that was published in our Waco Paper yesterday by my lovely bride, Kendra. She may have kind, sweet heart, but she wields a sharp pen in service of our King and the little ones made in His image.

As a lifelong Republican and conservative activist, I’m deeply disappointed in the Republican Legislature’s unwillingness to move HB 948, a bill to abolish abortion, through committee. During the Republican convention, 88 percent of delegates, myself included, voted to make this a “legislative priority” this legislative session. Apart from a handful of brave conservatives, there is no movement to bring it to the floor for a vote.

In flagrant disregard of the will of Texas Republicans, this important bill will likely die in committee. Preborn babies aren’t “agendas,” “next sessions,” “vacancies on the court,” “exceptions,” “things to regulate,” “planks in party platforms” or poker chips to wager elections on. Preborn babies are real human beings. And they are dying horrible, torturous deaths while you argue legalese, arm wrestle rules and procedures and wait for the next political season.

Make your deals with the devil. Pat yourself on the back. Bow low to the Court. But God will hold you accountable for what you do and what you don’t do. It’s time to end abortion now. Abolish abortion in Texas.

Delivering God’s Mail to the Governor

God has not given us the moral authority to make deals with the devil and his crowd when it comes to the lives of the preborn. Any pro-life legislation that ends with the caveat, “Now you can murder the baby” must be rejected.

The motive may be good to save some lives, but that strategy still inadvertently strengthens the legal fiction and pretend legislation of Roe vs. Wade. It has prolonged the suffering of the preborn for several decades as we have denied our Lord, compromised his truth, and ignored His law and exchanged his help for the political strategies of men.

We have to move from the sinking sand policies of the pro-life movement and rebuild on the solid rock of God’s Word. The Scriptures remind us there is only one legitimate foundation for all of life and that is the person of Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul, however, admonishes us to be careful how we build upon the cornerstone of our salvation.

Most of what we have built is a house of cards where we spend millions of dollars, put forth great efforts and resources to pass “pro-life laws” that the rogue courts wait in line to throw them out as unconstitutional.

It is time to ignore the courts and defy the tyrants that unleashed this hell upon our nation. It is time for the church and the states to rise up and say no to the federal beast that has been used to destroy children and the God ordained family. What say you Church?

In light of the battle raging in Kentucky as we prepare for our national event, I wrote the following article. if you find any merit, please pass it on in your sphere of influence. Thanks

Has the American Church Contracted the Samson Syndrome?

“Then three thousand men of Judah went down to the cleft of the rock of Etam, and said to Samson, “Do you not know that the Philistines rule over us? What is this you have done to us” (Judges 15:11)?

There is a powerful scene depicted in the movie Braveheart. Mel Gibson, who plays the lead role of William Wallace, the great Scottish Freedom Fighter, assembled his rag tag army to go up against the military might of England. Due to his personal courage and daring do, Wallace managed to recruit the common people as well as the Scottish Nobles to join him in the great battle for Scottish liberty.

Unbeknownst to Wallace, however, the cunning king of England bribed the Scottish Nobles to betray Wallace and abandon him on the field of battle. At the critical point of the conflict, which would determine victory or defeat, Wallace lifts up the banner to signal the Nobles to join in the fray. As he frantically waves the banner back and forth, the Nobles coldly stare at him as they saunter off the battlefield. They leave him and the clans to face an overwhelming force intent on crushing their freedom.

To a certain degree, this scene in Braveheart reveals what I call the Samson Syndrome. You may recall how Samson was wreaking havoc in the Philistine camp. Thorough the intrigue of Samson’s weakness for the pagan ladies, several opportunities for battle emerged against the enemy of God’s people. The conflict reached its zenith when the Philistines decided to confront the men of Judah and hold them accountable for Samson’s daring exploits.

God’s Word describes the exchange, “Now the Philistines went up, encamped in Judah, and deployed themselves against Lehi. And the men of Judah said, “Why have you come up against us?” So they answered, “We have come up to arrest Samson, to do to him as he has done to us” (Judges 15:9, 10). Instead of the men of Judah making a stand and joining Samson to liberate Israel from the yoke of the Philistines, they contracted the Samson Syndrome. They actually became allied with their oppressors. They joined the opposition and in so doing, abandoned their chance for liberation.

The men of Judah ended up binding their champion and turned him over to their common enemy. In essence, they cowardly admitted we are not a “radical” believer like Samson. He is your problem, not us. Do us both a favor, take Samson and leave us alone. This betrayal led to one of the most incredible feats of valor on a battlefield ever recorded in redemptive history.

Samson with the aid of a jaw bone of a donkey took on and took out 1000 would be captors in the Philistine army. Obviously, the Spirit of the Lord came upon him mightily. The effort was so heroic, dehydration rather than Philistine weaponry, almost killed him. God in His mercy “split the hollow place that is in Lehi, and water came out, and he drank; and his spirit returned, and he revived” (Judges 15:19).
If anyone has been involved in the modern day battle for the souls of men, the lives of babies, and the future of our bloodstained, perverted nation, you are somewhat aware of the Samson Syndrome. You may not have called the betrayal, ostracizing, and marginalization by your friends, family, and even the church by this term, but you still know the heartache firsthand.

It was not too long after we entered the battle before the Samson Syndrome became a reality in our lives. I can remember a time when a pastor who questioned my commitment to end the American holocaust shook his fist in my face and shouted, “You are worse than abortion.” There were other times when the church removed us from pulpits, cut off our finances, and even kicked us out of our home and left us penniless and homeless with the added burden to care for our young children (four were born and one was about to be born). We were doing home births at the time. The problem was we did not have a home to give birth. As bad as these betrayals were, nothing compares to when the church to protect itself, binds you up, and turns you over to the common enemy.

For instance, when the government came after us to shut down our effectiveness against the culture of death, the government always chose to subpoena us at the different churches we attended. They could have served us on the streets, at the death camps, our home, or another convenient place. Why the church? The government wants to use that setting to send a strong message to fellow Christians who may be convicted to join in the fray to end child sacrifice and the shedding of innocent blood. Their message, in essence, was, “Be careful! Do not follow the example of these people. If you do, the same way we treat them, we will go after you. So, give them over to us and all will be well with you.”

Most Christians are not aware of what happens when the powers that be go after you in the battle. They are not just interested in stopping your work in the Lord to end the evil of abortion; they seek to cut you off from all spiritual and moral support. They want to isolate you, so you can wallow in abject rejection. To the point, you cannot even utter a prayer to describe to the loving Lord the anguish of your tormented soul. It is this kind of psychological warfare that can befall Christians who dare to address and defeat Satan’s crown jewel of our age, abortion. It may come in lesser or greater degrees, but it will happen.

This warfare only intensifies when the church ends up showing more compassion, understanding, and tolerance towards those who are complicit or complacent with this evil. They seem to exercise more outrage towards those who seek to end the injustice then they do toward those who violate His justice. Well did Jesus remind the Pharisees:

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. Blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel (Matthew 23:23, 24).

Why does the church have fewer qualms with our lawless government, corrupt culture, the abortion industry, deceived parents, and their own disobedience, than they do with those who seek to love their neighbor as themselves? There is an absurd double standard running wild. For some peculiar reason, most churches withhold from those who seek to end abortion the same love, compassion, and understanding they seem to freely give to those who murder the preborn. This is just one of the manifestations of the Samson Syndrome in our age.

The Skandalon

To those on the receiving end of this strange spiritual phenomenon, it comes complete with a great opportunity to be offended. The offense is called skandalon. The definition for skandalon is, “A stick for bait (of a trap), generally a snare, a stumbling block, an offense.” In this battle, we need to be mindful of taking offense, which can lead to this dreadful state. Our Lord warned that we live in a world that provides ample opportunity to be offended. We must guard our hearts for out of it flows the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).

To comprehend the snare that is skandalon more fully, picture a big game hunter searching for lions. The hunter digs a deep pit and covers it with jungle foliage. He hangs a piece of bloody meat over the middle of the trap. Instinctively, the animal pounces. He falls into the pit and ends up on the trophy wall of the hunter.

In a sense, the lion was justified according to instinct to seize the meat. Many times, we may feel justified too, especially, when we are dealing with the outcome of the Samson Syndrome. But offenses that are not dealt with properly can render us bound as that animal or even Samson at the end of his life. We must remember that it is not the attack, offense, or persecution that are the critical issues. Jesus assures us these situations will repeatedly occur. In fact, He guaranteed they will come. It is how we respond that makes all the difference in the world.

When people hurt, betray, lie, or abandon us, the natural instinct is to retaliate. We may feel justified to pounce upon the skandalon. We bite and savor its juice only to find it poisoning us. If we do not spit it out, we can end up in a pit of despair and turned over to tormentors (Matthew 18:21-35). Tragically, our enemies will still control our lives as the Philistines mockingly jeer as we go around in circles grinding in their prison just like Samson.

Offenses must be fiercely addressed. We have to face the Samson Syndrome and avoid its binding of our souls. The love, forgiveness, and the truth of God’s Word must be employed to extinguish the fiery darts of the enemy. If we fail, we can develop a deep resentment, which leads to a root of bitterness. Hebrew 12:15 warns, “Looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled.”

Turning the Samson Syndrome into David’s Effect

“Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled. Now the men of Israel and Judah arose and shouted, and pursued the Philistines as far as the entrance of the valley and to the gates of Ekron” (1 Samuel 17:51b, 52).

Throughout redemptive history God has always used a man or a small remnant to bring about His glorious victories in the earth. The Scriptures remind us that with few or with many our God is able to deliver (1 Samuel 14:6). This was certainly true in the case of David’s defeat of the mighty champion of the Philistines, Goliath. Most of you know the narrative by heart, but the one point I wish to highlight is the profound impact David’s personal victory had upon the rest of God’s covenant people.

God’s army was neutralized by fear. The analysis that led to paralysis crippled their response to the challenge of Goliath. Everyone heard his taunts and instead of rising up in faith to face and overcome their doubts, they succumbed. Another young man (David) heard the same giant defy the armies of the living God and saw the imposing size of this monstrous warrior, instead of thinking he was too big to overcome, however, he thought he was too big to miss. The rest, as they say, is history.
This one act of courage by a ruddy youth produced the desired impact. God’s army was emboldened to take to the battlefield and drive out the oppressors from the land. This is the challenge and yet glorious opportunity set before those who are engaged in the battle for the souls of men, the lives of children, and the future of our bloodstained, perverted nation. By God’s grace and power, we have to turn the Samson Syndrome into David’s Effect.

We must stay faithful in promoting the paradigm shift. We have to continue to establish the Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrate, call the church and state to interposition, and abolish abortion now. We have to keep slinging the stone, keep swinging the hammer, and eventually as God breaks up demonic strongholds and grants some victories, more Christians will be encouraged to enter the battle to end the American Holocaust. So be it Lord, in Jesus’ mighty name!

This beautiful testimony just came in from Pastor Dale in New Orleans. It does not happen often, but when it does, there are only tears of joy. Enjoy!
So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well” (Luke 17:17-19)
I received this message from a girl who used to work for me when I worked at Papa John’s. Her testimony is incredible and I had not heard from her in nearly 17 years…Enjoy!
“Hi Dale. You may not remember me, but I worked at Papa Johns on Metairie Road as a young woman. I have thought of you often and always wanted to reach out to you, but felt conflicted about it. You see, I am the girl that worked with you and ran into you in front of an abortion clinic in Metairie. I was young and pregnant and scared out of my mind. I remember lying to you about why I was there and then my heart pulled me back out of that building and to the parking lot and to you.
You were gentle and kind and non-judgmental with me. That moment changed the course of my life forever. This has been 18 years in the making, but THANK YOU. My son, Alex, is my single greatest accomplishment and I cannot imagine a world without him in it. You will always have a place in my heart.” (I removed her name to protect her identity).

The following is an actual letter sent to pastors that had similar objections that the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary has stated to break their agreement with OR/OSA. After reading my response to their “concerns,” however, some of the pastors repented and joined the battle in their city. If any of you have connections at the seminary or the Southern Baptist Convention, you may want to send this to them. Generally, I’m sending this out as an apologetic to refute the arguments of those who oppose Christian interposition to end the American holocaust and to defend the godly language and actions of those who seek to love their neighbor as themselves.

If you find any merit, please pass it on in your sphere of influence. Thanks!

The Lord richly bless you! I appreciate you took the time to put pen to paper to express your concerns about our national event. Most Operation Rescue National/Operation Save America leaders are active pastors currently serving congregations or former pastors who are now serving full time to end the American holocaust.

We are churchmen like you. We are not pro-life activists. We are ministers of the Gospel of the Kingdom. We are attempting to be good soldiers of Jesus Christ in our day. By God’s empowerment, we go to the exposed areas where the battle is raging for the soul of our nation. We go to pray, praise, proclaim the Gospel, and interpose on the behalf of God’s helpless children.

We are not bitter pro-lifers. We do not belittle the church, even though we are often abandoned by her in this crucial struggle. We know that God does not have plan B. He only has plan A, the church of the living God. Rev. Flip Benham, former national director of OR/OSA has stated for years, “Abortion will come to an end, when the church makes up her mind it is going to end, and not one second sooner.” The gates of hell cannot prevail against God’s obedient church!

I want you to know upfront, I do not treat your concerns lightly. As a result, I will do my best to fulfill 1 Peter 3:15, which states, “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.”

St. Augustine counseled, “In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.” This is a good rule of thumb as we communicate any differences we may have concerning the grave evil savaging our nation. You can rest assured these guidelines will prayerfully direct my response to your concerns.

Before I begin to address the specifics, may I make one suggestion? Would you pick up a copy of the Letter from the Birmingham Jail by Martin Luther King Jr. and study its contents? Though the time and specific national evil is different, I believe Rev. King gives an outstanding apologetic. He defends well his “tactics” and message in the cause of justice. He was compelled to address the “concerns” of his generation. It has helped our ministry to not grow weary, as we seek to end the injustice of our day.

Patrick Henry, in his powerful “Give me liberty or give me death” speech, starts with these poignant remarks:

No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addressed the House. But different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen if, entertaining as I do opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely and without reserve. This is no time for ceremony… Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the Majesty of Heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings.

First, if you are brothers in Christ, redeemed by His blood, filled with His Spirit, and governed by His word, then you are indeed “worthy gentlemen” that I consider brethren in the body of Christ. Second, men of God may see the same subject in different lights. Third, just as in Mr. Henry’s case, there are times when we must express opinions that are contrary to others. Otherwise, God forbid, the nation is further harmed and we offend the majesty of heaven, which we should all “revere above all earthly kings.”

The Bible determines the nature of the battle and should determine our strategy to fight it to lead justice to victory. OR/OSA does not perceive the American holocaust as primarily an educational, political, economic, or social issue. Those realms are certainly impacted by abortion, but they are more fruit than the root of our woe. We believe at its core, child sacrifice and the shedding of innocent blood is a Gospel/Kingdom issue. Thus, we have as our statement of faith, the following:

Operation Save America unashamedly takes up the cause of preborn children in the name of Jesus Christ. We employ only biblical principles. The Bible is our foundation; the Cross of Christ is our strategy; the repentance of the Church of Jesus Christ is our ultimate goal. As the Church changes its heart toward preborn children, God Himself will hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and bring healing to our land. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only answer to the abortion holocaust. It is upon our active repentance in the streets of our cities that the Gospel is visibly lived out. We become to the church, to our city, and to our nation living parables which rightly represent God’s heart toward His helpless children.

Though certainly not perfect, this vision statement has guided our language and actions for close to three decades. The three people arguably most responsible for unleashing abortion upon our nation repented and came to Christ through our ministry. Norma McCorvey, the Jane Roe of Roe vs. Wade; Dr Bernard Nathanson, founder of NARAL and inventor of the pro-choice slogan; and Sandra Cano, Mary Doe of Doe vs. Bolton, which is the companion case of Roe v. Wade that made abortion on demand possible through the ninth month of pregnancy, all were directly impacted by OR/OSA.

Jesus said we would know something or someone by their fruits (Matthew 7:20). Since OR/OSA began, hundreds of death camps have been shut down, thousands of lives have been spared the horrors of abortion, and hundreds of souls have come to the saving grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. There was not just “a turning of a few minds” as your letter suggests. It was these very “tactics” that you are “uncomfortable” with that wrought these tremendous victories. This is not to boast in ourselves, but to boast in the Lord.

In your letter, you articulated three primary concerns. These concerns were the use of graphic pictures that depict the victims of abortion, incendiary language, and aggressive tactics. I will attempt, by God’s grace, to give a defense for some things, while agreeing with you on other matters.

I suspect your major concern is the use of graphic pictures to expose the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). Let me assure you that nobody “enjoys” displaying these dreadful signs, which reveal the horrible truth of our national sin. But they are necessary for several reasons.

In this battle to spare lives and save souls, we are modeling the use of contrast that is discovered in the wisdom of Proverbs. By making use of pictures that contrast life and death, we reveal the difference between wisdom and foolishness, righteousness and wickedness, good and evil, etc.

The live baby and aborted baby pictures are the visual aids we use to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The wages of sin is death (the picture of Malachi). The gift of God is eternal life (the picture of a live baby). This is what a nation looks like that honors God’s commandment (live baby, which exudes light, love, and life). This is what a nation looks like that violates God’s commandments (Malachi, which depicts darkness, death, and despair).

Second, the historical use of graphic pictures helped end previous evils. Pictures of mistreated slaves were used to stir the conscience of our nation during slavery. At the close of World War II, American troops marched German citizens through death camps so they could SEE the horrors of the holocaust they tolerated under their watch. More recently, it was the gruesome pictures sent by reporters embedded in Vietnam that changed our nation’s perspective on the conflict.

Today, graphic pictures are used to warn youth about the dangers of drugs, drinking or texting while driving, and tobacco. Pictures of kids strung out on dope, mangled cars with crash victims, emaciated cancer patients, victims of domestic violence and animal cruelty are all used to awaken us to the reality of suffering. There are ministries who feed the poor who show pictures of starving children to convict us of their plight and move us to act on their behalf.

Do you have the same concern about the use of those graphic pictures? I would guess not. You know they reveal valuable lessons that save lives and prevent future evils. Why then the objection to the use of Malachi? This baby, though dead, still speaks and he has volumes to teach our nation. It is the same principle at work. We are exposing the plight of the victim to prick consciences. We do this in the hope people will be moved to rescue those unjustly sentenced to death, love their neighbor as themselves, and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. We know this has touched many hearts and changed many minds.

Third, prophetically, God commands that “we expose the unfruitful works of darkness” (Ephesians 5:11). In the days of Israel’s idolatry, God instructed Ezekiel, “Now, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? Yes, show her all her abominations” (Ezekiel 22:2)! Deuteronomy 30:19 concurs, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.”

We use pictures to remind America of these eternal truths. The problem is our nation is choosing death to solve our economic and moral problems. We are in a major state of delusion if we still expect God’s blessings. It is clear from Scripture that we cannot choose death and receive blessings. We must choose life. OR/OSA is thoroughly convinced our nation will never treasure the good news of Christ, until we fully comprehend the bad news of our sins, atrocities, and abominations. God help us to end this travesty in Jesus’ name!

The second concern was incendiary language. It was mentioned that you found such language in our written materials. Could you cite what you consider incendiary in our communications? I could then perhaps know how better to respond.

In principle, however, we are in agreement. Every participant in OSA must sign a non-violent pledge. We have leaders set up to ensure that neither our conduct nor our language dishonors the Lord or appears violent in nature. Does that mean we are perfect in the heat of battle? The answer is no, but it remains the standard that governs our language and actions.

We do not believe in being controversial for the sake of controversy. We do not seek notoriety for the sake of notoriety. If the world hates us, speaks evil of us because we love God and our neighbor as ourselves, so be it. Jesus said that the world’s denouncement comes with a blessing. Matthew 5:11, 12 assure us, “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

On the other hand, if the world hates us because we are Christian jerks that misrepresent God and His Word, then we get what is coming to us. I have learned in this life, suffering is reality none of us escapes. We suffer for two primary reasons. We suffer as a consequence of our sin and we suffer for doing what is right. It is called redemptive suffering when we trust God and do good in the days of evil, tyranny, and injustice. In such cases, the Apostle Peter reminds us, “If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you” (1 Peter 4:14).

Your final concern was aggressive tactics. Unless you can point out sinful behavior that violates God’s Word, we must regulate this last issue to a disputable matter. In other words, if our tactics are sinful Biblically, I would be the first to humbly repent, ask forgiveness from God and you, and immediately work to make it right. If, however, your criticism of us is based upon your desire for a more passive approach, that is a subjective opinion, not a Biblical mandate. There is a huge difference between personal preference and conviction.

Keep in mind as we discuss these issues, we are not the ones being torn apart limb by limb. Honestly pastors, if you or your children were in danger of being murdered for blood money, who would you want representing your interests? Would you prefer someone with a passive approach or someone more active to come to your defense? Do you remember the Golden Rule? Do you recall the lesson of the Good Samaritan and Jesus’ command to go and do likewise?

All our messaging and tactics are summed up in God’s command to love Him and our neighbor as ourselves. We are attempting to answer the question, what does Christianity look like in a nation that commits child sacrifice and sheds innocent blood? The real issue is not are we pro-life enough; the real issue is are we being Christian enough.

I am appealing to you to think and act Biblically in the midst of this holocaust. It is in the spirit of “iron sharpening iron” that I ask you the following questions.

First, are you more upset that OR/OSA is coming to your city or are you more upset at the evil that defiles your city?

Second, are you more upset about the pictures that depict the victims of abortion or are you more upset that this crime is being committed in your city under your watch?
Third, are you more concerned about your reputation, money, position, and comfort or are you more concerned about loving your neighbor that is being led to slaughter (pre-born child), your neighbor being deceived (parents), and you neighbor committing this brutal act (abortionist)?

Fourth, do you have a greater fear of displeasing men or offending men or do you have a greater fear of displeasing God and offending Him?

Fifth, have you expressed concern or written letters to the death camp, culture, or government about the plight of the babies made in the image of God as you have sent to us? Have you criticized their tactics or language that makes this evil possible?

I think if you wrestled with God over these questions, you would have less concern with OR/OSA. You would not perceive us as much of a threat, hindrance, or embarrassment, but as fellow Christians who seek to “know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I (we) may attain to the resurrection from the dead” (Philippians 3:10).

Gentlemen, we would love to serve our Lord with you in this great cause to end the American holocaust. There is plenty to do and many hands make light work. If you are skittish about prophetic ministries, there are other opportunities to serve. There are mercy ministries, declaring the Word ministries, prayer ministries, and ministries of helps that are needed and welcomed as the church arises to drive the evil of abortion from their cities. If you do not want to hold a sign, there are venues available where graphic signs will not be used. Go as far as your conscience will allow. If you have any more questions or desire further communication, do not hesitate to call me. I pray this response to your concerns will alleviate all fear of men and inspire true faith in God as we move forward in Jesus’ name!

Seminary Breaks Agreement with OSA

Just got word today that our main hotel, Legacy Hotel, which is a part of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, has withdrawn from hosting our lodging needs for the OSA national event in July.

There were several reasons stated why they will break our agreement, but it all comes down to an unwillingness to bear the reproach, suffer the loss of reputation and possible financing to associate with Christians who are engaged in the battle to end the American holocaust. Fear of man and not faith in God has guided their decision making.

We just had 5000 brochures made up with their information on it that will now be promoted to the trash can and we are left scrambling to find a replacement hotel. To their credit, they are willing to reimburse us for the loss. The other good thing is this kind of complication in the battle normally takes place right before or during our event. Thankfully, we have some time to secure another hotel for the event. Please saturate our preparations in prayer. Obviously, the powers that be do not want the Kingdom invasion to come and address the evil of abortion and our obligation to abolish it.

Our overflow hotel is still in play. As soon as we secure another main hotel we will pass on that information and make up new brochures that you will be able to use to invite others to “For Such a Time as This” national event. Keep pressing on saints to the high call and prize in Jesus’ name!

Specific Reasons for the Seminary Breaking the Agreement

I post this so people can know the reasons set forth by the seminary to break their agreement to host our event in July. I’m not mad at them nor am I vindictive. This is just part of the battle from  within that tragically keeps the church from the sacrifice, redemptive suffering, and the bearing of the reproach of Christ that is necessary to liberate our nation from blood guiltiness and end the American holocaust.
First, our Truth Truck parked in their parking lot disturbed some faculty and students due to one graphic picture of abortion. As soon as we were aware, we moved the Truth Truck and other vehicles on the lot covered any graphic pictures of aborted babies.

Second, the media contacted the seminary over our OSA outreach at a high school and college. We did not know there was a middle school in the area as well. The media did not tell them that once we were aware, we moved all graphic signs away from the middle school.

We go to the schools as a preventative measure. If we meet the students there with the Gospel and life saving materials, then we may not have to meet them at the death camps as they attempt to destroy the lives of their helpless children.

Third, apparently, some Christians asked why the seminary had a Starbucks at their facility since they are Anti-Christ, anti-life, and anti-family. Some were upset over the inquiry.

Lastly, they withdrew because not all OSA Christians were affiliated with the Southern Baptists.

When we asked them to change the OSA name to the local Southern Baptist church that is hosting us, they declined.

The real issue through the conversation finally came out. The leadership at the seminary does not like our methodology. I went to great lengths explaining our Gospel/Kingdom methodology that was all Bible based and the answer was, they would not change their decision.

I did not post this to put them in a bad light, but to deal with major practical realities. Folks have been reserving rooms and now they find out the agreement is broken. We have to republish all our brochures that promote the event (To their credit, they are reimbursing OSA for the added expense) and search to find another hotel to meet our lodging needs for God’s people who will pour out their lives to end the murder of the pre-born in Kentucky. For those who want to know who or what is OSA, you can visit our website at www.operationsaveamerica.org.

Here is the written form of the Rally Speech delivered at the State Capital in Texas on the behalf of the HB 948 that will abolish abortion In Texas. Below is a rough video copy. If you find any merit, please pass it on in your sphere of influence. Thanks

On the steps of the State Capitol in Montgomery, Alabama, after the successful completion of the Selma to Montgomery March on March 25, 1965, Martin Luther King, Jr, uttered this famous phrase, “How Long, Not Long.” He proclaimed this as he was dealing with the evil and injustice of his generation. In fact, he stated, “How long? Not long, because ‘no lie can live forever.'” And if I might be so bold to add, “Lies carry the seed of its own destruction, while truth carries the seed of its own survival.” Moreover he declared, “How long? Not long, because the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.”

The reason why the moral universe arcs towards justice is because the God of the Bible is the God of all justice. His throne is built upon the two pillars of justice and righteousness and He has shown us, O men, what is good; and what does the Lord require of us but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8)? The order is extremely important in God’s economy.

Make no mistake about it; this is a long time in the making. We have endured an extended night of darkness, death, and despair that has savaged our nation and its people, but as the Scripture promises “Joy comes in the morning.” In God’s providential history, we have come to this place, at this appointed time, to establish the self-evident truth, which is, man is made in the image of God and these precious children in the womb need to be welcomed in life and protected by law like each and every one of us. We are simply demanding equal justice under the law.

We no longer come to regulate baby murder; we are here to end it. We are here to plead the case of the fatherless to win it and let us be absolutely clear on this; we are not here to just plead their case anymore and wait for so-called pro-life scraps to fall from the political table. We are here to win the case on the behalf of the fatherless. How long? Not long.

In 1973 with the infamous Roe vs Wade decision, America officially entered into a Covenant of Death. Our nation has been plagued with cultural immorality, government corruption and tyranny, and violence ever since. With HB 948, we will no longer nibble at the edges of this grave evil and injustice. We will no longer be content to use these precious children as political footballs to increase our coffers and political power. Those days have mercifully come to an end and a new day is dawning. With HB 948 the standard of what it means to be pro-life will forever change in America. No more wiggle room, no more delays, and no more compromise. The government sponsor of the murder of the preborn ends now in Jesus mighty name. Here we stand, we can do no less! God help us!

We are here to honor and obey God’s moral commandment, “Thou shall not murder” and the covenant principles enshrined in our own Founding Documents. How many remember, “We hold these truths to be self-evident. That all men are created equal, and are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights that among these are the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

As far as the Constitution is concerned, what does it actually state? “No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law.” What capital crime was committed by the preborn that deserves capital punishment? You see, no penumbra of the Constitution, no mist that emanates from the Constitution can maintain this lawless façade any longer. The emperor has no clothes on. Besides, courts cannot make law and any human law that violates God’s law is no law at all.

We are here to call upon our Governor, our Lt Governor, the attorney general, and every legislator in Texas to be strong and of a good courage. We demand they uphold the rule of law and do their duty to protect life and stop the shedding of innocent blood and also preserve the God ordained institution of marriage.

We are here to call upon the church to regain her prophetic voice to instruct the moral conscience of Texas and our nation. We can no longer turn a blind eye and deaf ear to this injustice that plagues our state and nation. If we as God’s people do not speak up and act, history will condemn our complicity. History has proven time and again that the church’s silence and inaction in the face of evil always strengthens the oppressor and prolongs the suffering of the victim. That mentality needs to end at once along with the evil of abortion that it inadvertently supports.

We call upon the citizens of Texas and everyone of goodwill to rise up and convince our civil officials in Texas to co-sponsor and support the passage of HB 948. And remember this one everlasting truth. We do not fight alone in this great battle for the souls of men, the lives of children, and the future of our, broken, wounded land. There is a just God in heaven who presides over the destiny of nations. If we repent and do what is right in His sight, His blessing will return to Texas and beyond to secure a future and a hope. God bless Texas and God use us to pass this righteous bill in Jesus’ mighty name!
