Johnnie Hunter said it best when we were together in Waco, Texas, in 1996. The bride of Christ in the black church has been bribed and bought by the Democratic Party. This is sad! ~ Flip
This report covers our activity at Jackson State University. We had some incredible conversations. The graphic Display that Tom Raddell, Dale, Mike Warren, and Jerry Crawford, set up was thought provoking to say the least. We were amazed at the kindness and affirmation of the Gospel of Christ at this predominantly black university. It was awesome to share Christ with these students.

“Sir, did you know they are killing babies right there?” asked a young blond woman as a Jackson Free Press reporter approached the Jackson Women’s Health Organization in Fondren.
Anti-abortion activists from six states are occupying each of the four corners at State Street and Fondren Place as part of a nationwide campaign known as States of Refuge.
Dueling sound systems–an anti-abortion protester preaching from the Bible and a clinic security guard blaring police siren noises–annoyed local business owners and resulted in a visit from two Jackson police officers who stood by to keep the peace.
The Mississippi campaign is especially important for the anti-abortion movement, said organizer Chet Gallagher of Nevada.
“This one has the opportunity to close before the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade,” said Gallagher, who wore a black leather jacket and black baseball cap with the word “Jesus” in red lettering.
Earlier this year, Mississippi lawmakers passed a law requiring doctors at abortion clinics to be certified OB/GYNs and have admitting privileges at a local hospital. The new law is an additional regulatory layer that could shutter JWHO, the only abortion clinic in the state, whose doctors come from outside Mississippi to perform abortions.
A federal judge put full implementation of the law on hold to give the clinic time to comply, but if none of the hospitals where JWHO applied for admitting privileges accepts the clinic’s application, Mississippi could become the only state where women would not have access to abortion, a right guaranteed by a 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision.
The Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas believes the Declaration of Independence, which guarantees Americans the “right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” supersedes the court’s ruling because the word life appears first.
“Without life there is no liberty,” said Thomas, a native of Waco, Texas.
The States of Refuge campaign, which is part of the anti-abortion network Operation Rescue/Operation Save America, began the day after Election Day, Nov. 7, and continued through Sunday, Nov. 11.
Here are some more great reports of what God is doing in Jackson, Mississippi as a result of our visit. When God goes back to school – all hell breaks loose and all heaven comes down. What a joy to be His instruments at such a time as this!

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13)
This brave women in the humanistic temples we call public schools dared to become “heretical” and crossed the line to present the truth to her students. She may be fired as a result. Jesus stated, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” She may be laying down all that she has worked for all her life for the sake of the Lord and His little ones. This is how Mississippi will become an abortion free state. Please pray for this woman. Here is her story.
“These who have turned the world upside down have come here too” (Acts 17:6).
True Christianity lived out by faith produces in our world of sin and darkness a revival or riot proposition as this news story demonstrates.
What George Orwell articulately stated is true! “When deceit becomes universal, truth becomes a revolutionary act!” Look what happens when truth goes to our public schools in Jackson, Mississippi.

The Thomas Nation begins the long trek home today. We very much enjoyed our time in Mississippi storming the gates of hell with the saints of God. Much was accomplished as we move forward by the grace of God to present to our Lord the first abortion free state. It looks like Mississippi stands on the verge of making history. All signs point to Jackson, Mississippi for the 40th year anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. There will be more on that later.
Here is another story articulating the vision and mission of the States of Refuge campaign. The Lord exceedingly muitlpied our message. Thank you for all your prayers, love and support in Jesus’ name!

Living out our faith in the streets of Jackson, Mississippi this past week was powerful. The media surrounded us at many of our venues where we lifted up the Name of Jesus – we never sent out a press release. The saints in Mississippi, who have so faithfully been the instruments used to shut down four abortion mills in Jackson, have only one abortion mill left in the entire state of Mississippi. Mississippi is within a hairbreadth of becoming the first abortion free state in America. Here’s the report by Heather Clark via Christiannews.net.

Adam Tennant has written a great article that will help us all take on the unbiblical heresy of “do not judge” with sound biblical exegesis and clarity.
