More Media at DNC

We had a great time at the DNC given ‘em heaven at every venue we could find.  God delivered the DNC into our hands as a divine trap for a party that, for all intents and purposes, has given Jesus the middle finger of “luv.”  Four consecutive days of “all out preaching the Gospel of Christ,” rain or shine, morning ,noon, and night was wearisome but absolutely exhilarating.  Many of the DNC delegates gave us secret thumbs up and pats on the back saying,

“Thank you for being here.”

God, Hurricane Isaac, and the RNC

Final Day of the Walk Across America Prophetic Tour in Washington DC

Yesterday, August 28, 2012, commemorated the 8th anniversary of our completion of the Walk Across America Prophetic Tour. Ten missionaries walked a “living parable” from San Clemente, CA to Washington DC. It took over six months to complete this Kingdom task. The “living parable” consisted of a young man, Johnny Benham, who carried broken tablets of the Ten Commandments. He was followed by my daughter, Shekinah Thomas, who carried a baby casket, which represented the preborn children murdered by abortion, the evidence of America’s sin. Shekinah was followed by Rev. Flip Benham, National Director of Operation Rescue/Operation Save America, who walked a white horse adorned with a banner called JUDGMENT. After him, I took up the rear guard by walking a white donkey adorned with a banner called MERCY.

Each day we cried out against the sins of our nation, abortion and parading our sin like Sodom. Each day we called our nation to repent and come back to the Lord and the Biblical principles that served us so well in our nation’s history. We passed out tens of thousands of tracts and did manifold media interviews all along the way.

After delivering God’s mail in Washington DC at the White House, the next day, August 29, 2004, the majority of the missionaries returned home to joyfully reunite with their families. Rev. Flip Benham, however, went to New Orleans to be with Pastor Bill Shanks. Pastor Bill invited Rev. Flip to join him to minister the Gospel of the Kingdom at a sodomite lustfest called Southern Decadence. While there, Pastor Bill Shanks warned New Orleans that if this wicked city did not stop murdering God’s babies and flaunting the abomination of homosexuality, God would send a hurricane and flood New Orleans. On August 29, 2005, one year to the day, Katrina, which means cleansing, devastated New Orleans and the surrounding areas.

Fast forward to this date and what do we discover? Another hurricane is making a similar path towards New Orleans, except this time, the storm’s timing is in conjunction with the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL. Is there a connection? The rest of this article will explore the possibilities.

First, the name of this imminent hurricane is called Isaac. Biblically, the name Isaac means laughter. As you may recall, when God reaffirmed the promised child to Abraham and Sarah after they were past the time of child-bearing, Sarah laughed. The Lord confronted her with her amused unbelief and in His humorous way called Abraham to name his promised son, Isaac (laughter).

In our opening verse in Psalms two, God’s word addresses nations that rebel against His loving and just rule. As the nations ignore and rage against His commandments, the Lord’s response from heaven is to laugh at them. It is just a coincidence that the very meaning of the hurricane disrupting the Republican National Convention means laughter? If not, perhaps a message I preached a few years ago may apply, “When God laughs in heaven, it is not funny on earth.”

This convention has been marked by storms from without and derision from within. Romney is attempting to change the procedural rules of the convention to disenfranchise the conservative delegates. It has created a faction that has blown the unity that centered on defeating Obama come November.

As Isaac rains on their parade another storm hit on the way to the convention. It came in the form of a gaff from Congressman Todd Akin. His attempt to address abortion in the case of rape went awry. It served, however, to reveal that once again the Republican Establishment will choose to ignore the American holocaust and the culture of death it has spawned in favor of the economy. They seem to believe that one can continue to slaughter God’s babies made in His image and still thrive as a people. Their mantra of JOBS, JOBS, JOBS, cannot wipe out the cries of the “little ones” and their innocent blood that demands, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth” (Revelations 6:10)?

Try as they might, politics as usual, whether it comes from Republicans or Democrats, the official party of death, right or left on the political spectrum, cannot save our nation that is drowning in a sea of blood and perversion. There is a spiritual and moral connection to the litany of woe striking our nation. Both political parties ignore it to our national peril. Moreover, any politician that ignores abortion is not fit to serve as a magistrate and betrays the sacred trust of civil government, which is to protect life and stop the shedding of innocent blood. Perhaps Isaac, God’s laughter, is His way of reminding America of this truth in Jesus’ name!

How Important Are Graphic Signs?

A mama chose LIFE at the LaTrobe abortion mill on Friday August 24th, after coming directly from an ultrasound at the crisis pregnancy center. She left the pregnancy center planning to drive to the abortion mill to murder her unborn child. As she drove into the parking lot of this business of death, she saw this photo of Malachi and told a sidewalk counselor that she changed her mind solely because of that image!

Ephesians 5:11 was lived out  by exposing the TRUTH behind the lies of Satan. Because of this controversial and graphic depiction of murder, a baby was spared from death in Charlotte!

Should A Child Be Killed Because Her Mother Was Raped?

Here is an 11 minute video of a debate on CNN of Rebecca Kiessling, conceived as a result of a rape, and Gloria Allred who killed her own child as a result of rape.  Gloria Allred, always the bully, cannot deal with what is sitting right before her eyes – what her child could have been if she had not killed him or her.

Gloria glibly runs through her talking points but it is easy to detect the rage and meanness in her as she deals with sweet little Rebecca.  Rebecca doesn’t speak much.  Gloria made sure of that.  But Rebecca’s presence (she was a “living parable” to Allred, was a grim reminder of what could have been. 

God still desires to have mercy on Gloria for the murder of the child that was safe in her womb and now is no more.  But it is her “choice.”  She is still trying to conceal the murder of her child by hiding behind the fact that she was raped.  She is a victim in her own eyes and Jesus cannot and will not save victims.  He can and will only save sinners.

“He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”  Proverbs 28:13.

God Puts Romney-Ryan To The Test

Thank God for the Todd Akin gaff that was heard around the world.  It is forcing both Democrats and Republicans to define where they really stand on the preeminent issue of the day – LIFE!  It is forcing all of us to think and re-think our position on Life through the grid of God’s Word.  If God has ever presented His Church a better platform from which to herald the message of the sanctity of Life from the roof tops, I’m not aware of it. 

Todd Akin’s gaff is a gift of God’s amazing grace and mercy to get our eyes off of our wallets and the economy and get them focused on what is really ailing America.  We have rejected God and His principles.  We have expelled Him from school and banished Him from the schoolyard.  We have removed Him from our streets and workplaces and look at each other with awkward amazement wondering why violence and bloodshed is filling the corridors of our schools, workplaces, and streets.  Shed blood in the womb and you will reap it in the streets. 

Friends, we can’t do enough things right to make up for the wrong we are doing to His precious children in the womb.  God has got us in a fix that we cannot fix so that He alone can fix us.  He promises to hear us.  He promises to forgive us.  He promises to heal us. 

“If my people who are called by my Name shall humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways.  Then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land.”

American Right To Life Shows Absurdity of Rape Exception

DENVER, Aug. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — “Ironically, it is the implementation of Mitt Romney’s abortion policy,” says the American Right To Life research director Darrell Birkey, “that would require determining whether or not there was a ‘legitimate’ rape.”

“Missouri’s U.S. Senate Candidate Todd Akin advocates the personhood position of killing no child, regardless of whether or not her father was a criminal,” says ARTL Action president Jefferson George.   “However, Mitt Romney himself wrote an op-ed recently in National Review saying that he opposes abortion but not for ‘instances of rape‘.  So it is not Akin, but Mitt Romney, whose unworkable policy would require determining whether there was a ‘legitimate’ rape.”

Agreeing with American Right To Life is the longtime vice president of the nation’s first-ever “right to life” group.  “Mitt Romney’s criticism of congressman Akin was self-condemning,” said Colorado Right To Life’s Leslie Hanks.  As campaign spokeswoman Amanda Henneberg said, “Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan disagree with Mr. Akin’s statement, and a Romney-Ryan administration would not oppose abortion in instances of rape.  ” Hanks added, “So the Romney campaign admits that their own policy, unless it’s just phony, requires some kind of determination of rape.  They’re the ‘legitimate rape’ team.”

American Right To Life agrees with Rep. Akin that he “used the wrong words in the wrong way.” Birkey points out that, “Perhaps without realizing it, Todd repeated the Ron Paul-ism that was said to Piers Morgan on CNN earlier this year about legitimate rape. With a similar view to Romney’s, Paul put it even worse, and called it an ‘honest’ rape. Likewise, Mitt Romney’s policy means that if a woman was actually raped, then he would not oppose her killing the child.”

“The new Republican-In-Name-Only GOP is reduced to being the conservatives who want to save social programs created by liberals,” said George, head of the 527 group. “And Todd Akin could become the awkward hero from Missouri if he brings his actions in line with his principles and refrains from voting for bills, like H.R. 3, that authorize the use of tax dollars to kill the very children that we believe Aiken wants to protect.”

American Right To Life’s website concludes, “Finally, Romney’s unworkable ‘rape exception’ violates the God-given right to life.”
