You are never too old to save a life. Sally (84) and my mom Frances (80) come out to the streets to save lives. Today 23 lifesavers came to the mission field down the street to save babies from death. Every week little children are scheduled to be killed at 3787 Main Street. We can use more people to try to save them. Our little brothers and sisters need us to defend them. Sidewalk counselors peacefully share the truth with pregnant women as they enter the abortion center. We offer brochures with facts and resource information. We have prayer warriors in the background who pray as we counsel. Other people hold signs that show pictures of life and of abortion. These signs help moms decide what they want to do with their children. The police are on the scene for our protection (TM). From what we saw today:

FIFTEEN CAME TO ABORT.
FOUR CHANGED THEIR MINDS.
TWO TURNED AWAY.
NINE BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

Today was a very busy day. All the women came at the same time. Carmen was talking to a Mexican couple, I was talking to a Black mom and daughter and other clients were going in. Some of the rosary ladies left their normal posts and helped to reach out to these ladies. Fr DeMayo helped out by taking a couple home and helping to get them food. Two other moms told us they changed their minds, we gave out lots of literature, DVD's, videos, food cards and bootie bookmarks.

The best joy comes in a few months when we get to hold these precious little ones and hear the grateful words of the mothers. These activities really do save lives. Thousands and thousands of babies are saved around the nation when gentle Christians come out to the streets. You will grow spiritually as you obey the Lord's command to rescue the innocent from slaughter. This ministry has long-term and eternal effects on life.

"Love has no room for fear; rather perfect love casts out all fear." 1 John 4:18

Over 20 prolifers came out to the streets to plead the case of the fatherless. We joined in prayer because our Father in Heaven has told us that when two or more agree in prayer, He would be there in our midst. The police were there on the scene (TM). From what we saw:

TWENTY MOMS CAME TO ABORT.
TWO CHANGED THEIR MINDS.
TWO TURNED AWAY.
SIXTEEN BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

We stand here on the streets as living epistles, warning all who would hear that judgment is at America 's door. We are the Lord's watchmen. We love our country, but according to Scripture, we have committed a grievous sin that God will not forgive and He must soon judge. History repeats itself. King Mannesseh "filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the Lord would not pardon." 2 Kings 24:4. This king led his nation into child sacrifice and multitudes of innocent children were massacred. God swore He would not forgive the slaughter and He would judge the whole nation for its crime (sin). A long spiritual revival preceded the judgment - but in spite of the revival God said He would not forgive the shedding of innocent blood. We stand on the brink of a great chastisement for killing millions of innocent children.

We cannot solve our nation's problems politically. God doesn't call us to influence the world by legislation. He calls us to go out to the highways and bi-ways and proclaim His gospel. The church spends too much time with business and politics and not enough time on ministry. There is not a biblical mandate to save the world through government, we can only save the world through Jesus. We need to spend less time campaigning and more time ministering. Cal Thomas once said "The kingdom of God is not going to arrive on Air Force One." This is so true. Christians look to the President, the Congress, the Supreme Court to change things. God told us the "gates of Hell cannot prevail against the Church"! That is us. Yes, Christians should speak out on cultural issues, but we need to act by going out to the streets and doing the work that our Father commanded us to do. He said to rescue the innocent from slaughter and to bring down the "high places" where little children are sacrificed. We need to reach out to the lost and needy with a Gospel of salvation from sin.

Please join us each Friday and Tuesday at 3787 Main Street, Bridgeport. If you are not in driving distance, just look up abortion in your yellow pages. Call to see when their killing appointments are. Go there and pray at that time. Try to persuade moms not to kill their babies. Offer them the love of Christ and tangible options. In 1990 there were 2000 abortion clinics listed nationwide in the yellow pages. Now it is down to 725. Why? Because Christians took their faith out to the streets and stood for righteousness in their communities. America can be abortion-free. But its up to us to get it done.

Thirty lifesavers came out to the streets to intercede for the tiny baby boys and baby girls sentenced to die on 3787 Main Street. Fr DeMayo and Pastor Miller we both there to represent the clergy and led us in prayer as we pleaded the case of the fatherless to our Father in Heaven. He heard our prayers and from what we saw:

THIRTEEN MOMS CAME TO ABORT.
ONE CHANGED HER MIND.
ONE TURNED AWAY .

ELEVEN BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

Carmen spent a long time talking to a Mexican couple that did not speak English. It is so important for us to have Spanish speakers on the streets. We gave them many resources. We sent them to St. V.'s for medical care and got them an appointment at Hopeline. We gave them other places to go for medical help, also Spanish literature and a DVD that shows the abortion procedure. The mom loved the crocheted baby bootie bookmark and Scripture card to remind her of her baby.

Patte Smith wrote about how to fulfill our glorious mandate to GO to the lost (Matthew 10:5-42). We read that our Savior was not "seeker friendly" with the missionary charge to his weak and wormy disciples. He said "Behold I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves." Jesus said "wolves". Wolves are vicious, ravenous, snarling, foaming at the mouth predatory beasts. They devour sheep. Jesus did not say we would love this and be honored as the best and brightest in our city. He did not say that everywhere we go, people will want to be around us. He did not say they will invite us to speak at many conferences. He did not say we will always be comfortable and surrounded by people just like us. He did not say we will never have to sacrifice anything or be out of our element. The Master described how those who obeyed the missionary mandate to be pro-active in seeking the lost would be scourged and hated by all for His name sake.

There is no way to soft-sell the missionary labors outside of an abortion clinic. Reaching out to the lost on Main Street provides us with a glimpse of Heaven. In the past fifteen years over 1400 babies lives have been spared and over 350 confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior in Bridgeport . This is the result of holy persuasion by courageous Christians. Courage is doing something in spite of the fear we feel inside. Through this type of ministry you develop amazing comradery among your brothers and sisters with the same heart. Bringing the gospel of life to the underbelly of Bridgeport is greater than any church service. This is actually having church on the streets.

I thank God for Father Francis who helped me understand this scenario. On occasion we hear comments from Christians who say they have "different callings". They are sincere and someone has probably hit a raw nerve in them somewhere. They feel convicted as being part of the Church that is complacent to the cries of the babies down the street. They need to justify their absence from "that one point" (Luther's words) by resorting to the "your calling is not my calling" syndrome. So instead of acting on their convictions they cover them. God never gives a calling that transgresses the "Big Umbrella" of "love your neighbor as yourself". When the neighbor is being "led away to slaughter" at home, I can't run off to another country and say I am fulfilling my calling. Sorry, the priest and the Levite in the parable of the Good Samaritan tried it and it didn't wash with Jesus. The unborn are hidden from their eyes. We pray the Lord of the harvest will remove the scales so they can see.

Twenty-one lifesaving Christians came out to the streets to pray and reach out to moms scheduled for abortions. The police and the lot attendant were at the scene. From what we saw:

TEN MOMS CAME TO ABORT.
ONE CHANGED HER MIND.
ONE TURNED AWAY.
EIGHT BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

The turn-away left because she was too far along in her pregnancy to get an abortion at this mill. We hope and pray she decides to keep her baby and not go somewhere else.

As we read in 1 Chronicles 10 today we see that although David stumbled and fell occasionally he still walked step by step with God, honestly wanting to be obedient to Him. By reading the Scriptures about David's failures and successes we learn the importance of giving our whole heart to God and letting Him be the focus of our life. We need to strive daily to be consistent in obeying His Word. We also see the terrible consequences when we don't.

"So Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord . He failed to obey the Lord's command, and he even consulted a medium instead of asking the Lord for guidance. So the Lord killed him and turned his kingdom over to David son of Jesse." (1 Chronicles 10:13-14)

Please join us Friday and Tuesday mornings as we reach out to the lost and needy who find themselves where they should not be. We plan to be there until the killing stops. This is an opportunity for God to use you to save lives and souls. Just show up and God will do the rest. We are the "Church Without Walls" as we pray, preach, worship and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

King David said this about Him, "I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me. No wonder my heart is filled with joy, and my mouth shouts His praises! My body rests in hope. For You will not leave my soul among the dead or allow Your Holy One to rot in the grave. You have shown me the way of life, and You will give me wonderful joy in Your presence." Acts 22:5-28

One of the moms came today to show us her daughter. She named her Destiny. What an appropriate name. This little girl would be dead if Christians were not here pleading with moms not to kill their babies. Each life is so precious and so valuable and irreplaceable. This mom is so happy now that she kept her baby. Her siblings are so happy to have her for a sister, her grandma, aunts and cousins all love her so much! Imagine the terrible inflicted pain this precious child would have felt unto death if she was aborted. Imagine our very own community in the greater Bridgeport area that is so insensitive to the silent cries of these little ones. Baby after baby undergo intense trauma to death and very few Christians seem to care enough to sacrifice of themselves to save their little neighbors. Every woman going in for an abortion needs to be told the truth before its too late.

FOURTEEN MOMS CAME TO KILL TODAY.

NONE CHANGED THEIR MINDS THAT I KNOW OF.

FOURTEEN BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

Please pray for us each Tuesday and Friday morning 7:30 am - 9:30 am as we reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be. Join us if you are driving distance to 3787 Main Street, Bridgeport. We need to claim this block for Christ so souls would be saved by the Savior's love. So many Christians treat their relationship with God as a gimme, gimme and bless me, bless me club. We should spend value time with our Lord in prayer, worship and His Word. There is no fast food, Jesus wants us to come dine with Him at His table of bounty. Then you will have no problem laying your life down so others may live.

Twenty-seven pro-lifers came out to the streets of Bridgeport to rescue the innocent from slaughter (Proverbs 24:10-12) and to take a public stand against child killing in our community. Today one of the male clients was trying to push his girlfriend out of his car door and was assaulting her. The police on the scene went over to the car and called extra police because the woman wanted the man arrested. It looked like she was persuaded not to file the arrest afterwards because one of the clinic workers was talking to her and trying to calm her down. They don't want any more negative publicity, they get enough. This young black mother ended up leaving the mill and walked home. I asked her if she needed any help. She said no. She seemed upset so I prayed for her. Se said she was going to keep her baby. Praise God.

Pastor Miller was there to represent the clergy. He led us in prayer several times. A dad that took his girl in there was upset with us and what we were saying to him. He was making loud noises when we tried to talk to the women going in. He ended up coming over to talk to us for quite a while. He did not seem open to the truth of the gospel but we know that God's Word does not return void.

Towards the end of the morning, one of the Mexican moms, Alma, that changed her mind years ago came by with her two children. She hugged Carmen with tears in her eyes and said thank you so much for convincing me to not kill my baby. Her little girl is now three years old and her parents love her so very much. From what we saw today:

THIRTEEN CAME TO ABORT.
TWO CHANGED THEIR MINDS.
ONE TURNED AWAY.
TEN BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

"There are six things the Lord hates -- no, seven things He detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, HANDS THAT KILL THE INNOCENT, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord among brothers." Proverbs 6:16-19

As we continue through the OSA daily Bible reading schedule we read this week in 2 Kings 17 how disaster came on the nation of Israel because they worshipped other gods. Reading this chapter is just like reading about our nation today. God's people imitated practices of pagan nations, they secretly did things not pleasing to God and they aroused His anger. Again and again the Lord sent prophets to warn the people to turn from their evil ways but they would not listen. They even sacrificed their own sons and daughters in the fire, they consulted fortune tellers and used sorcery. God's people rejected His laws and became worthless. The Lord punished them by handing them over to their attackers until they were destroyed. We need to repent and reform before we ever think of having revival in America. God help us, please, to bring our nation back to You.

Join us each Friday and Tuesday as we stand on the streets for Jesus. We reach out to the lost and needy who find themselves where they should not be. Where else can you go on Tuesday and Friday morning and save a child from death and its mom from eternity in Hell. We are the Church. We are His hands, His feet, and His mouthpiece. It is not a matter of calling! It is a matter of ministry. Your neighbor is in the ditch and dying. Can you walk by and say, “I am called to go somewhere else.” This is a cruel joke inspired by Satan himself to justify the fact that you can sit home and do nothing while children are being led away to the slaughter. Meet us at the gates: 3787 Main Street, Bridgeport .

Today, 27 prolifers came out to the streets to pray for the unborn sentenced to death here in Bridgeport. Fr DeMayo was there to represent the clergy. We prayed for the innocent children here and around the world. Our prayer is that mothers would love their babies to birth. Our prayer is that baby killing will end here in Bridgeport and everywhere. Our prayer is that the Church of Jesus Christ would be the true church and not the false church and rise up intolerant of baby killing and other blatant sins right in its own neighborhood. Today and everyday, 3, 561 babies are surgically killed by abortion in America in abortion mills. Planned Parenthood alone receives $240 million in tax payer dollars. So what should we as Christians do about this? Has God called us to hide in our churches and in our homes and do nothing? No. He has called us to go out to the streets, to preach the Gospel to every creature, to bring down the high places of child sacrifice, and to set a standard in the community to which we live. If the Church does not set a standard of right and wrong, who will? Just look around and see the government is not doing such a good job. It's not up to them. It is up to us who know the Lord and know His Word.

From what we say today:
ELEVEN MOMS CAME TO KILL.
ONE CHANGED HER MIND.
TEN BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

We read through the Bible each year with the OSA Daily Bible Schedule. In today's reading of 2 Kings 11-13 we see how people continually turn to idols instead of God. As we stand on the streets of Bridgeport and intermingle with the public, we see the same thing. This book is not so foreign. What was going on then in Israel is going on now in America. Two nations, called by God, who know Him and know His word, turning to idols instead of to Him. Why? Well, some reasons men turn to idols are because they are tangible, they are morally similar with human characteristics, they are comprehensible and they are manipulated. Worshipping idols involves materialism, sexual immorality, doing whatever you want and focusing on yourself.

On the other hand, when you turn to God, He is not tangible, you cannot see Him physically. We are morally not similar to God, He has divine characteristics. He is incomprehensible and cannot be manipulated. Worshipping Him involves sacrifice, purity, commitment, doing what He wants and focusing on others. So here you can plainly see the battle of two seeds. It's either my body, my rights, my choice or lay your life down for Him. Which do you choose?

Jesus tells us in John 14:15 (today's reading) "If you love Me, obey My commandments. And I will ask the Father and He will give you another Comforter who will never leave you." Now why would God give us a comforter? Well, it must be that we would be very UNCOMFORTABLE if we obey His word and do His will. He also said "Those who obey My commandments are the ones who love Me. And because they love me, My Father will love them, and I will love them. And I ill reveal Myself to each one of them." v. 21 Now what on earth could be better than that! If we keep His commands, He will show His love to us (Proverbs 2, Job 28). That is simply wonderful! Nothing better.

So please join us each Tuesday and Friday as we obey the commands of our Lord. He has commanded us to rescue the innocent from slaughter. Where else do you know of innocent lives being dragged to death at a certain time and place that you can intervene? We reach out to the lost and needy who find themselves where they should not be. "But when the Father sends the Counselor as My representative -- and by the Counselor I mean the Holy Spirit -- He will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I Myself have told you. I am leaving you with a gift -- peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn't like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid. Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again." v. 26-28

Twenty-two prolifers came out to pray and try to save lives today. The police and lot attendants were on the scene. The college student escorts are home for summer vacation, so they have not been around.

For the month of May, 2005 stats from what we know:
75 babies killed
12 turned away
10 babies saved

For today:
5 moms came to abort
1 changed her mind
4 babies were left to die

Please join us each Friday and Tuesday as we reach out to the lost who find themselves where they should not be. 7:30 am sharp or earlier to pray. We need diapers sizes 3-6, wipes and Stop & Shop food gift cards. We look forward to the day when baby killing will end in our community. Thank you for your help, we cannot do this alone.

Twenty-three pro-lifers came out to save lives. Fr DeMayo and Pastor Miller were there to represent the clergy of our community. The police were present on the scene and AJ was in the lot for the mill. Little Daniel (above) was pleading with moms not to kill their babies. He was speaking to them through the fence. From what we saw:

FIFTEEN CAME TO ABORT.
ONE CHANGED THEIR MIND.
ONE TURNED AWAY.
THIRTEEN BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

As we celebrate Memorial Day let us remember those who gave of themselves to serve in the military so we can enjoy the freedoms we have here in America. I remember my Dad, who died one year ago. He served during WWII in the antiaircraft artillery battalion. Remember the dead who served us and thank the ones still living here among us. Freedom is not free. It costs plenty.

Please join us next week on Tuesday and Friday as we try to persuade moms not to kill their children. We need women for post abortion outreach, if you can do this (pass out literature to women leaving the clinic) please let me know. Let's remember to put on our armor daily so we can fight the enemies of God. The helmet covers our minds with Him. The shield protects us from Satan's flaming arrows. The sword always applies the Word against the enemy to defeat him and advance the cause of Christ. The belt of truth protects us from any lies despite Satan's subtle ways to deceive. With the breastplate we can embrace righteousness in our thoughts and actions as we walk in a holy manner that honors God and defeats the world. With our feet we can appropriate peace and need not carry anxiety or inner turmoil. So be strong with God's mighty power as we put on the full armor of God in the battle for life (Ephesians 6:10 -18).

This is one of the saved babies, I went to visit him after the mill today. He was so cute, he wanted to come home with me.

Have you noticed how much praying for revival has been going on of late, and how little revival has resulted? I believe the problem is that we have been trying to substitute praying for obeying, and it simply will not work. To pray for revival while ignoring the plain precept laid down in Scripture is to waste a lot of words and get nothing for our trouble. Prayer will become effective when we stop using it as a substitute for obedience." A. W. TOZER

Today we had 22 pro-lifers at the killing center on 3787 Main Street. Christians gave up their comfort zones and got a little uncomfortable so they could lay down their lives so others can live. The police were at the scene. From what we saw:

ELEVEN MOMS CAME TO KILL.
TWO CHANGED THEIR MINDS.
NINE BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

God, send me anywhere, only go with me. Lay any burden on me, only sustain me. And sever any tie in my heart except the tie that binds my heart to yours. David Livingstone

This is one of the couples that changed their minds, please pray for them and the others, that God gives them peace that passes all understanding and supplies their needs as He draws them close to Him. In our OSA daily bible reading today we read about Jesus telling the disciples that if they truly are his disciples they will obey his teachings. If you don't listen to God, that means you don't love Him. (John 8)

God commands us in His Word to bring down the "high places" where they sacrifice children to idols. In our day, abortionists are like the high priests sacrificing innocent children to demons on the altar of convenience. Please join us as we reach out to the lost and needy who find themselves where they should not be.

"If you fail under pressure, your strength is not very great. Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to death; don't stand back and let them die. Don't try to avoid responsibility by saying you didn't know about it. For God knows all heart, and He sees you. He keeps watch over your soul, and He knows you knew! And He will judge all people according to what they have done." Proverbs 24:10-12

Carmen and Wandra pleading the case of the fatherless in Bridgeport, CT.

Twenty-prolifers came out to pray and bring public attention to the horror of abortion at 3787 Main Street . The student escorts from Wesleyan University have probably gone home for summer vacation. The police were present. From what we know:

SIX MOMS CAME TO ABORT (4 Black, 1 Hispanic, 1O ther).
ONE CHANGED HER MIND.
FIVE BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

The abortionist showed up around 10:30 am and was in and out real fast as he performed his grisly job. We need to pray for this man and numerous others who are blinded by the god of this world.

“You would think, if you heard some people's representation of the truth of God, that it was all honey and soap; you would not think there was any “cut” in it – any dividing asunder. You must preach God's justice and vengeance against sin as well as His love for the sinner. You must preach Hell as well as Heaven. You must let your Gospel match the intuitions of humanity, or you may as well throw it into the sea, and thus save both trouble and money. A Gospel of love never matched anybodies souls. The great want in this day is truth that cuts; convicting truth; truth that convicts and convinces the sinner and pulls of the bandages from his eyes. The Lord knows the order in which His truth ought to be preached better than we do. Hence His commission to Paul, to go and open the eyes' of sinners to their danger, and turn them round from the power of Satan unto God. This was to be done before they were converted. ‘Oh!' says someone, ‘do not talk to them about Hell, death, and judgment; show them the love of Christ.' But we always get wrong when we reverse God's order. Tear the bandages off. Open their eyes, turn them round from the desire, the embrace and choice of evil to the embrace and choice of God. That they may receive forgiveness of sins.

Tell them the truth; tell a man the truth about himself. Drive in the red-hot, convicting truth of God on to his conscience, and make him realize that he is a sinner. Never mind how he howls, even if he groans as loud as the Psalmist did when the pains of Hell got hold of him. Until he has been made to feel himself a sinner he will never make anything of a saint. Then give him the Gospel.” Catherine Booth (co-founder of the Salvation Army)

"IT IS RIGHT FOR US TO SPEAK UP FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT SPEAK." PROVERBS 31:18

Today twenty-two faithful pro-lifers determined in their hearts to come out to the streets where babies are sentenced to die. Fr DeMayo represented the local clergy and again was preaching the Word of God to the lost. Because of the faithfulness and the prayers, our Lord moved in a mighty and miraculous way. In spite of the nonsense from the college escorts, laughing and joking and trying to pull women away from hearing our message of life, at least four babies were spared death today. Carmen took one of the Hispanic moms home and Millie took one of the African American young ladies home. One of the dads, a white man, took the literature from Carmen and brought it to his car around the block where his lady was sitting in the car. From what we know and saw, they did not go into the mill. Another black young lady that walked in came out and talked to me and took the literature and said she changed her mind. I tried to get one of the girls to a local CPC but they were not in until 12. I hope this young girl followed up and called back to go there. Please pray for these moms that chose life for their precious babies. Thank the Lord for his promises of life that bring blessings and not curses. From what we saw:

TWENTY WOMEN CAME AT KILLING TIME.
FOUR CHANGED THEIR MINDS.
FOUR TURNED AWAY.
TWELVE BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

"WHATEVER YOU DO FOR THE LEAST OF THE BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THAT YOU DO FOR ME." MATTHEW 25:40

This innocent blood pollutes our land (Numbers 35:33)and brings divine judgment of corporate bloodguilt "upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof....(Jeremiah 26:15). Can you imagine more than three thousand babies are murdered daily by abortion mills? The curse of bloodguiltiness is upon us (Deuteronomy 21:1-9). If you care about these innocent precious children that are being ripped apart limb by limb then show up on 3787 Main Street where we become the CHURCH WITHOUT WALLS. You can do the same thing you do on Sunday - pray, praise and worship, read or listen to God's word, and engage in spiritual welfare on site. What can be more rewarding than saving a life and a soul? If you live in another state go to www.ldi.org and click on FIND AN ABORTION CLINIC. If more Christians would show up, more babies would be saved. We will never have revival until we have repentance and reformation first. It all starts with us, the Church. Jesus told us the gates of hell cannot prevail against His Church. He did not say the gates of hell cannot prevail against the president, or Congress or the Supreme Court. Its all up to us.

"MY WORD SHALL NOT RETURN TO ME VOID, BUT SHALL DO MY WILL, ACHEIVING THE END FOR WHICH I SENT IT." ISAIAH 55:11

Please join us this Tuesday and Friday as we reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be. Bring your children, your parents, your sisters, your brothers. We plan to be there .... till the killing stops!

Martin Luther said" I am much afraid that schools will prove to be the great gates of hell unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures, engraving them in the hearts of youth. I advise no one to place a child where the Scriptures do not reign paramount. Every institution in which men are not increasingly occupied with the Word of God must become corrupt." Over 20 prolifers came out to pray and intercede for babies sentenced to die. College students "deathscorts" were present and so was the Bridgeport police. Pastor Miller was there to represent the clergy. From what we saw:

"The Charismatic movement could have been good, but instead it has failed because after being fueled by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and after being fueled by Churchianity, instead of using this power to pour out on the streets to visibly/spiritually do battle through evangelization, and visible witnesses to Truth against such things as abortion-foremost, homosexuality, etc., we instead remain in the Churches, bloating our sponges with God, but failing to ring them out where they need most to be ringed out - where little innocent babies are taken to be murdered without even a gram of visible resistance from the Christians." Fr Francis

Christ did not say “follow me and I will make you Church-goers.” Christ said “follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Mt 4:19). Could you look Him in the face that day and tell the One who bled for you that you could not bleed for Him?
~ Jesse Morrell

What fuller argument is needed ... than the self-evident fact that the natural man is everywhere in the church singing of his love for Jesus and calling Him Lord with his lips, while betraying Him to the world with his life! ~ William Law from his book "The Power of the Spirit" (early 1700's!)

Here are some quotes to ponder. Please think about coming out to 3787 Main Street, Bridgeport to help save a life and a soul.

May 6, National Day of Prayer 2005

OSA-CT

Stats for the month of April 2005 in Bridgeport. From what we know:

100 babies were killed by abortion.
16 were saved (Moms said they changed their minds).
15 Moms left (turned away).

Fr. DeMayo did an awesome job of preaching to the "deathscorts" Friday May 6th. Twenty life savers were present. We are the "church without walls". We bring the gospel to the streets for all to hear. Most people we meet on the street would not enter a church building to hear the Word of God, so we bring the Word of God to them.

Jesus' last command to us before he left the earth was "You are to go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere. Those who believe and are baptized will be saved. But those who refuse to believe will be condemned." Mark 16:15, 16

Friday, May 6, 2005 we saw:
8 black, 1 hispanic, 1 white moms enter at baby killing time.
Two turned away.
8 babies were left to die.

Tuesday, May 3, 2005 we saw:
6 black, 4 white moms enter at baby killing time.
One turned away.
9 babies were left to die.

Tomorrow is Mother's Day. Let's remember: One hundred years from now, It will not matter, What kind of car you drove, What kind of house you lived in. How much money was in your bank account, or What your clothes looked like. But the world may be a little better because You were important in the Life of a child.

Thursday (May 5) for National Day of Prayer, fifteen Christians met at Live Oaks School flagpole in Milford. Jan Elyett, who is a teacher there, organized the event. This day was set aside by Congress in 1952 for us to pray for our nation, its people and its leaders.

Please join us on Tuesday and Friday 7:30am sharp. Most moms come in by 8am. We talk to stragglers after that until 9:30am. If you really want to save a life you must be there early TO HOLD A SIGN AND PRAY. We always need diapers and wipes (sizes 3-6). Thank you to all who equip us to help those who find themselves where they should not be!

OSA'S "GOD'S GOING BACK TO SCHOOL" National Campaign, Hamden High School , Hamden ,CT - Wed. May 4, 2005

I am still grieved after getting back from our outreach at Hamden High School. It just continues to alarm me to see how far this generation has strayed from God and His principles. We were able to give out hundreds of literature packs and NT Bibles. I would say about half the students were receptive and half not. But even if one comes to the knowledge of the truth, it was worth it. We had some good conversations about the hard cases such as rape and others wanted to know why we were there and why we had to show the pictures. We were able to share the love of God. Overall, we had very good conversations with the ones that had ears to hear.

This whole event reminded me of the teaching Pastor Ron Nugent did with us on Jonah. Jonah did not want to go to Ninevah, but God told him to go. God has told us to go, too. He tells us to preach the gospel to every creature. He tells us to stand on the highways and bi-ways for His righteousness. We have to shout the truth from the housetops and be salt and light to a lost generation. We have to love them as Jesus loved us, that He gave His life for us.

Thank you to the fifteen brave saints that came out (Danny, Vinny, Ron, Jan, Carmen, Kelly, Frances, Marc, Nancy, Daniel, Linda, Bob, Jason (youth pastor), and Fr. DeMayo (priest)). We had my mom out there who is 80 years old and my nephew who is only 3. They are both a living testimony that life very young and life very old is all precious to God.

Ron Coddington, an elder from another church, wrote about this morning:

This morning was my first time at a high school outreach. After several interchanges with the kids while handing out Bibles and tracts, I began to relax a bit. I was able to approach four teen boys and strike up a conversation. Initially they were tagging me pretty good with comments and puffing a lot of smoke my way, but they seemed to settle after I told them God really loved them and that in His sight each of them was valuable and unique. One guy, lifted his sunglasses and pointed to his right eye which was stitched closed. "Could God love me like this?” he said? I said, "Yes, but what happened?" He told me he got hit by a truck while on his bike, and he also had several other injuries. I said, "You know, God can totally heal you . . . can I pray for you?" He responded, "OK", and the other guys who had been chatty got real quiet. I laid my hand gently on his shoulder and simply prayed for God to heal him and for God to touch his heart. In Jesus' Name. It was very quiet. He murmured, "Thank you." I think he meant it. They all took NTs from me with the pamphlets on abstinence that Marilyn had provided. My heart was really moved by this moment with these guys. These kids are precious in the eyes of the Savior, and today might have been the very first time for these four boys that anyone had told them about God's love and actually prayed for them. Yes, we had a few tracts tossed back at us; yes, we heard a lot of bad language coming our way. Danny got a lit cigarette fired his way! But I tell you these kids are far more valuable than our momentary discomfort. These kids are why the King of Glory, the awesome holy Creator of the universe, took the form of a servant and died a criminal's death on a cross. How much more should we take on the form of a servant for just one hour and give of ourselves so these kids might know eternal life? I have to thank the Lord and His precious servants, Marilyn and Carmen and their families, for inviting me to be a part of this outreach today.

These words encouraged me as we continue the good fight of faith. Today's reading in Luke 21 , tells us there will be times of great persecution but the Lord will give us the opportunity to talk about Him. Jesus said not to worry about charges against you, He will give us the right words to say and such wisdom that none of our opponents will be able to reply. He even says people will hate us because of our allegiance to Him. But not a hair on our head will perish and by standing firm we will win souls for Him.

Jesus tells us of His return, He says many will lack courage and falter in the upcoming days. But if we stand straight and look up we will see the Son of Man arrive on the clouds. You can be sure; the Kingdom of God is near. His words will remain forever. So watch out, don't be careless and filled with the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, as in a trap. Keep constant watch and pray that if possible, you may escape these horrors and stand before Jesus!

Friday April 29, 2005

Today, 25 pro-lifers came out to the streets to try save lives and to make a public stand against child killing in our community. Fr deMayo was there to represent the clergy. Wednesday we will take our signs and literature to a local high school to try to reach the students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These kids desperately need the Lord and some direction and guidance before they end up pregnant and at an abortion clinic. Please let me know if you can come.

From what we saw today:

EIGHT MOMS CAME TO ABORT.
NONE CHANGED THEIR MINDS WHILE WE WERE THERE.
EIGHT BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

It's a sad day in America when college students from Wesleyan University laugh and joke with moms who are about to kill their sons and daughters. What have we come to that we have no respect for human life and don't even flinch about killing a precious human being? And "what's our purpose" in all of this? Do we need books and 40 week programs to know our "purpose" in life. It's plain and simple if you just read your Bible. Throughout Scripture there is one core "purpose" for all believers. Pastor Wilkerson even talked about this in his latest newsletter.

Our special callings and gifts all spring from it. Jesus tells us in John 15:16 "Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit." The fruit Jesus is talking about is Christ-likeness, bearing the likeness of Jesus. If we are not Christ-like in heart and not becoming noticeably more like Him, we have missed our "purpose."

"We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

We need to show the love of Christ at home first. Those that know us best are the ones that live with us. Christ-likeness also has to do with how we treat those outside our family.... friends, neighbors, those we meet on the street. So please join us on the streets each Tuesday and Friday as we reach out to those who find themselves where they should not be. Let's show the world Jesus in us, the hope of glory. We are His body, His hands, His feet, His mouthpiece.

As Mother's Day draws near, let us older women try to teach the younger women. There is a special power of love a woman can have through motherhood. It is a gift to us from God. A mother's love brings joy to the world. This gift is destroyed by abortion and other cares of the world like jobs and careers. There is no greater job or career than being a Godly mom. Let's share this with the upcoming generation.

This is a picture of a baby born alive in a toilet in Orlando where his mom was scheduled for a second trimester abortion. Our friend, Patte Smith, is a sidewalk counselor at this mill. His name is Rowan. (go to http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=43962 for more on the story) He died because the staff there would not help him and his mom was helpless.

Babies like this are aborted at our local mill in Bridgeport up to 18 weeks or so. This is why Christians lay down their lives so that others can live. This is why we go out to the streets to plead with moms not to kill their children. Each little boy and each little girl is created in the image of God. God does not make mistakes; he has a plan for every life. Please join us each Tuesday and Friday at 3787 Main Street so babies like this will not be killed. How can you look at this picture and say this life is not worth saving?

Today in Bridgeport, twenty-three people inconvenienced themselves to get up early and out of the house so they could possibly save a precious little one. There was a prayer warrior for each mom that came to kill today. In today's OSA daily reading Luke 17:1-2 "One day Jesus said to His disciples, "There will always be temptations to sin, better to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around the neck than to face the punishment in store for harming one of these little ones."

There were four escorts trying to distract mothers from hearing the message of life. The police were on the scene of the crimes. It was extremely busy today because they were closed Friday. The parking lot was full and cars were searching for a parking space. Only one life was spared while I was there. A young mom came out and told us she could not kill her baby because she saw the ultra-sound. This is why it is so important to impress on these mothers if they insist on going into the killing center to look at the ultra-sound. Then they will see, it is not a blob of tissue, but it is a baby. Their baby. Their son or their daughter. Their own flesh and blood. Oh God have mercy on us. Look what we have become, we have done such heinous crimes that you would never even of imagined it.

"My heart, my heart -- I writhe in pain. My heart pounds within me! I cannot be still. " Jeremiah 4:19
"Pray no more for these people, Jeremiah. Do not weep or pray for them, and don't beg me to help them for I will not listen to you." Jeremiah 7:16
"They sacrifice their little sons and daughters in the fire I have never commanded such a horrible deed: it never even crossed my mind." Jeremiah 7:31
"My grief is beyond healing; my heart is broken." Jeremiah 7:18
"I weep for the hurt of my people, I am stunned and silent and mute with grief." Jeremiah 8:21
"Oh, that my eyes were a fountain of tears; I would weep forever! I would sob day and night....for they are all adulterous and treacherous." Jeremiah 9:1-2

From what we saw:
TWENTY THREE CAME AT KILLING TIME.
ONE CHANGED HER MIND.
TWENTY TWO BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

It is a sad era in America . Babies are ripped out of their mother's wombs at the rate of three to four thousand a day. Little girls are kidnapped, raped and killed. Little boys are raped and molested. Same sex unions and marriages are being recognized state by state (in Connecticut this week). Kids are killing kids and teachers in their schools. What on earth is happening? We have strayed so far from God. We are near the end. The wrath of God is coming upon us. I hope and pray the Church will rise up and turn the world upside down for Jesus.

We postponed our High School outreach tomorrow because it's supposed to wind and rain and fog on us. Please pray for good weather for next Wednesday May 4. It is very hard to hold the banners and signs when its windy and rainy and then all the literature gets wet. It is so much better to talk to the students when the weather is nice. I heard Patti Q is in the school this week talking about abstinence. What perfect timing for preparing these youth to hear the gospel next week on the sidewalk. Please keep this in your prayers and let us know if you can come.

Testimony from Hartford , CT

Marilyn,

I wanted to send you a little encouraging testimony. This morning we went to the Summit abortion clinic and were able to talk with a 30 something year old Hispanic woman named Doris. She was hesitant about having an abortion but wasn't sure if she wanted to go through with the pregnancy either. We talked to her and told her if she needed help we could help her and offer her resources, financial support, information etc. She got dropped off at the clinic by taxi so we offered to bring her home or to a crisis pregnancy center to talk with women about choosing life. She went into the clinic and said she'd come out if she changed her mind. Well after about a half an hour she came out and said said she was leaving and was ready to go with us. Praise God!

Doris has a 2 other children, a 12 year old and a 1 year old. When she was sitting inside the clinic she thought of how her 1 year old son was so happy to hear she was pregnant and how he would touch her stomach asking when his new brother and sister would be coming. With that thought in mind she told the nurses she was leaving because she couldn't kill her child. We drove her to a crisis pregnancy center (St. Gerads) where she was able to sit down with trained workers and hear about all the resources they could offer her and her child. Doris was happy because she knew in her heart that she has made the right decision. We are keeping in contact with her and hope to help her more in the future.

Right now she's looking for a job that would allow her to work part time and still make enough money to pay the bills. Her boyfriend works and she does too but it's usually from around 8 am to 9 pm at night. That hectic daily work schedule doesn't allow for much time at home with her children. She works at Rent a Center now but is looking for something part time with good pay. So please keep that in your prayers and her and her children as well.

God is moving in many ways and we were so blessed to see him touch the heart of this precious woman.

In his name,
Christina

We were blessed to witness the marriage ceremony of Kim Gustitus and John Reyes. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple to make their vows before an awesome God. Pastor Flip and John's Dallas pastor did the ceremony together. It was a great time of fellowship. We wish them all of God's best and many children!

THE STREETS, BRIDGEPORT, CT - TUESDAY APRIL 19, 2005

Twenty-two prolifers came out to pray and intercede for little babies sentenced to die at 3787 Main St. The police and "deathscorts" were present. From what we saw:

THIRTEEN CAME TO ABORT.
TWO TURNED AWAY.
ELEVEN BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

It is a sad day in Connecticut, same sex unions have been legalized. Our nation continues to move further and further from God and his principles.

"Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering you hindered." Luke 11:52

The Church of Jesus Christ (us) is guilty too. We have watered down the gospel so much that it has become a "false gospel". Modern Christianity is presented as happiness on earth rather than righteousness. Most "Christians" have never been convicted of what sinners they really are and never truly repented. So now we think its ok for two men and two women to be united and have children. This is a total abomination of how God intended the family.

It is also amazing to see that many of the clinic escorts are lesbians and gay men. If they can't reproduce naturally, what is their interest in abortion rights. The bottom line is they are against God and His ways and will fight against any cause that stand for His truth. These hurting or happy lost souls need to be shown their sinful state before God so they will seek after the righteousness that is in Christ and His Holy Bible.

Please join us on Fridays and Tuesdays as we reach out to the lost and needy who find themselves where they should not be! We plan to go to a local high school next Wednesday to present the Gospel and the truth about abortion and pre-marital sex. Let us know if you can come. Side note: Carmen, Nancy and I were invited to a bridal shower two Sundays ago. We were appalled at the theme of the shower: penises. They gave the bride a "penis" corsage and a "penis" crown for her head. There were "penis" favors and a "penis" centerpiece. This family is supposedly "Christian". This again shows how far so called "Christians" have strayed. We have no shame and no modesty. We had to leave and we told them why. If we don't ever take a stand for righteousness, who will?

Together in the Battle,
Marilyn Carroll

Children saving children, what's better than that? There were 23 lifesavers out on the streets. Fr DeMayo represented the local clergy. Deathscorts and police were on the scene. These college students with the orange vests that say "volunteer" tried hard to get moms not to hear the other "choices" available to them, besides killing their babies. I wonder who they are volunteering for?

"They have built the altar called Topheth in the Valley of Ben-Hinnom, and there they burn to death their little sons and daughters as sacrifices to their gods -- a deed so horrible I've never even thought of it..." Jeremiah 7:31

From what we know:
SEVENTEEN MOMS CAME TO KILL.
ONE CHANGED HER MIND.
THREE TURNED AWAY.

God calls us to "destroy arguments and every pretension raising itself against the knowledge of God ..." 2 Cori. 10:5

Please join us on Tuesdays and Fridays at 3787 Main Street. We believe God to end child-killing in our community soon. If the Church will come out and stand against this atrocity, we can make a difference. "The gates of hell cannot prevail against His Church"! We will also go to a local high school April 27th, let us know if you can go. We reach out to the students with the truth and the Gospel before they get pregnant or before they come to the abortion mill.

The secular world does not fear God. If we really care for the lost on their way to Hell, we must tell them of the wrath of God that will come upon them if they don't repent and turn from their wicked ways. We need to bring them God's law. Our society has tried very hard to remove The Law and God's Ten Commandments. The Law of God brings conviction of sin. The fear of God brings obedience.

"But no, you won't listen. So you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself because of your stubbornness in refusing to turn from your sin. For there is going to come a day of judgement when God, the just judge of all the world, will judge all people according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who persist in doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But He will pour out His anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and practice evil deeds. There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on sinning ..." Romans 2: 5-9

Seventeen lifesavers came out to the streets to pray and take a stand for truth. Police and escorts were there. From what we saw:

TWENTY MOMS CAME TO ABORT THEIR BABIES.
FOUR CHANGED THEIR MINDS.
TWO TURNED AWAY.
FOURTEEN BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

Last night I woke up and read the whole April issue of the Voice of the Martyrs (www.persecution.com). I was so blessed to read about the evangelization going on in Iraq. We all know that Iraq can never become truly free unless they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Thousands of Bibles and children's Gospels have gone forth there. The Islamic internet site (www.aljazeera.net) has an interview with an Islamic cleric saying every hour 667 Muslims convert to Christianity. Everyday thousands of Muslim intellectuals are leaving Islam. Praise the Lord! US being there is well worth it. When Coalition Forces liberated Iraq from Saddam Hussein, Christians were given the unprecedented opportunity to share the Gospel. Relations between Christians, Muslims and the government are better than ever. Christians there have counted the cost and know Christ is greater than the darkness and tragedy that has been unleashed in that region. They know "the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church" (Matthew 16:18).

Marvin Olasky wrote in World Magazine (Feb. 21, 2004) "Heroic leadership is not putting off tomorrow, to someone else's watch, what needs to be done now. The tragic hero, though, cannot say "sorry" and leave it at that. He has to act, realizing that whatever he does will harm tranquility." Christians that actively witness in Iran and Iraq know it will harm the tranquility of their Muslim relatives and of churches that do not wish to go outside and disturb the status quo and secular authorities who want religions (including Christianity) to stay in their own box. Perhaps that is why Christ said "I have not come to bring peace on earth but a sword." Matthew 10:34

Why am I talking about this? Because it is the same thing going on here in America with the "social issues" of our times. Most "Christians" in America hide in their churches and do not go out on the streets where the battles are, at the very "gates of hell." They don't want to shake up their family and friends and co-workers. They just hide in their closets because radically embracing Jesus would disrupt their households, their workplaces and their churches. But didn't Jesus say anyone who follows Me must pick up the cross and carry it on their shoulders? Over here in America, Islam is the fastest growing religion. Something is very wrong here. The American Christian Church better wake up soon or it will may be too late.

Thank God we are not blind, and have seen the light, Jesus Christ. In Him we have our only hope of salvation and of saving mothers and their babies. Mothers from disobedience to God's Commandment Thou Shall Not Murder. Without repentance and forgiveness they face eternal damnation. And what about the babies' chance to live in our world to be blessed by Jesus Christ, to feel the joys and sorrows of this life, the joy of seeing a beautiful sunset or sunrise, to be blessed as you and I have been in so many ways, too many to recount here. For me Psalm 27:13 sums up our hope "I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." Abortion will end in our time and many will be spared their anguish of their death. Psalm 30:5b says "Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning." Think about the joy of seeing in our time little children spared death! Pastor Bob Behn (OSA Buffalo)

"Open your mouth for the speechless in the cause of all who are appointed to die. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and the needy." Proverbs 31:8

Twenty-two prolifers came out today to pray, save lives and make a public proclamation against child killing in our community. Police and escorts were there, no clergy. A young woman came by to talk to us. She said she already had the abortion and regretted it. She said she tried to commit suicide three times because of it. We referred her to a post abortion Bible study healing class. Please pray for her and other moms that have killed their children.

One of the couples I counseled going in were very attentive and took the information. I showed them Daniel and said his mom could have aborted him but instead chose adoption and look at what a beautiful child he is. They went in,

we prayed and they came out.

"The LORD hates, yes ... an abomination to Him ... hands that shed innocent blood." Proverbs 6:17

TWENTY WOMEN WENT IN AT KILLING TIME.
THREE CHANGED THEIR MINDS.
SIX TURNED AWAY.
ELEVEN BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

"I will give you over to bloodshed and it will pursue you. Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you." Ezekiel 35:6

Our Lord hates the shedding of innocent blood, it is not accidental death (Deut. 19:5) or when someone dies in war (Joshua 11:6) or the passing away of one's life for natural causes, or when someone is found lawfully guilty (Genesis 9:6). There is a judgement on America for bloodguilt because of the 45 million or more innocent children killed by legalized abortion. This doesn't even include all the people that are euthanized, like Terri Shiavo, in nursing homes and hospitals that we don't even know about.

"For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God." 1 Peter 4:17

Kids are killing kids in the schools, on the streets, in the homes. Terrorists have invaded our nation and our military men abroad. We need to plead with the Church to take a stand against shedding innocent blood in America. Only the Church of Jesus Christ has the power of God to bring this nation back to its Judeo-Christian roots of biblical living. Jesus said the gates of hell cannot prevail against His Church. Please join us at 3787 Main Street as we stand for our Lord and His righteousness as we reach out to the lost. We are there every Tuesday and Friday 7;30am to 9:30am. Just show up ... you will be amazed to see what the Lord will do.

The stats for March 2005 - 83 babies were killed, 24 women turned away, 15 moms changed their minds & their babies were saved.

This mom came out of the mill crying her eyes out. She had the ultra-sound picture of her baby. Here she is staring at the pictures of the live and dead babies as we prayed with her. We had a miraculous day as we bowed before our God on behalf of our nation that is declining fast down the slippery slope in the culture of death. We lifted up Terri Shiavo's family, our government, our leaders, and the Church. We pray that our Lord would use her starvation and dehydration unto death as an example of why we must end the judicial tyranny in America.

Pastor Miller and Pastor McIntyre led us as we joined in a circle of prayer. Twenty-four lifesavers came out today to make a public proclamation against the killing of innocent life. God tells us to rescue the innocent from slaughter, to not stand back and let them die. God says that He knows we know and we will have no excuse on Judgement Day for not standing.(Proverbs 24:10-12) The only four times in the Bible that killing another human being is justified is 1.) to defend yourself 2.) to defend another 3.) to protect your nation 4.) when someone is found guilty of a capital crime. Yes, Biblical Christians do believe in capital punishment. Some "Americans" are more concerned with protecting terrorists than they are about protecting the innocent, the disabled and the handicapped like Terri Shiavo.

This is another couple that Carmen counseled for quite a while. They did go in the mill. The young man was more attentive than the young mother. They finally came out and changed their minds! Carmen gave them a ride home, a video and resources on abortion. We will keep contact with these young people that desperately need Godly direction.

The third couple that changed their minds came from the bakery side. One of the oriental "deathscorts" physically pushed me away and got right between us as I was trying to persuade them not to kill. I called for the police, who saw the incident and spoke with the students from Wesleyan. I would have no problem having them arrested for assault. Thank God this couple also came out after entering the death camp. They took all the resources. We gave out Passion NT Bibles and Gospel tracts.

From what we saw between 7:30am-9:30am :

SIXTEEN CAME TO ABORT.
THREE CHANGED THEIR MIND.
TWO TURNED AWAY.
ELEVEN PRECIOUS BABIES WERE LEFT TO DIE.

Please join us next week on Tuesday and Friday as we reach out to the lost and needy who find themselves where they should not be. We plan to be at 3787 Main Street , Bridgeport until the killing stops. We need size 3 and size 6 diapers and wipes for the saved babies. We also need Stop & Shop food cards. Maria still needs an apartment in the Stratford area for herself and her three children.
