Miraculous Vindication for a Contender of the Faith

This article written by Lisa Metzger, wife of Mark and home school mom of ten children, sums up the thoughts of most of us who attended Flip’s trial this past Friday, August 10, 2012.  God’s hand was so very evident in all of the proceedings in the courtroom that day.

 

Miraculous Vindication for a Contender of the Faith

“The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes.” ~ Proverbs 21:1

 As we read in Scripture, God directs and rules over those in authority. This past Friday, the Heavenly Judge directed a lowly mortal judge to rule in favor of a man of God.

 Flip Benham had been erroneously convicted of stalking a Charlotte abortionist in July 2011, which has since been appealed and is awaiting a verdict by the appellate court. When the State’s prosecution filed a revocation of bond late last month, during the Operation Save America National Event, Flip was summoned to the Mecklenburg County Courthouse to defend his right to remain free on bond. Claiming that Flip violated the terms of his post-conviction release, the wording of the prosecution’s motion appeared to have already solidified the grim fate of this hearing. There seemed no way out of this legal snare.

Though all seemed bleak initially, God supplied a man for such a time as this. No longer did Flip need to rely on a public defender that lacked the spiritual conviction to argue such a case. David Redding, a commercial litigation attorney and Benham family friend, was called by his Savior to serve as a temporary criminal defender, just for this hearing.  

On the morning of the bond revocation hearing, many of Flip’s friends, family and supporters arrived at the courthouse to pray for Flip’s exoneration, while many covered him in prayer from a distance. Though he trusted God for His Will to be accomplished, Flip realistically presumed that he would be leaving that courthouse in handcuffs to spend the next 75 days in the Mecklenburg County Jail.

Despite testimony from multiple accusers, including some who lied under oath, a very frustrated judge was lawfully obligated to rule in Flip’s favor. Why? Directed by God, Attorney David Redding found a statute in North Carolina that states: “A judge authorizing release of a defendant under this section must issue an appropriate order containing a statement of the conditions imposed, if any; inform the defendant in writing of the penalties applicable to violations of the conditions of his release; and advise him that his arrest will be ordered immediately upon any such violation. The order of release must be filed with the clerk and a copy given the defendant.”

During the initial sentencing, this same judge failed to serve Flip with written terms of his post-conviction release on bond. Therefore, Flip had no knowledge as to the specific conditions and stipulations of his bond, and therefore could not adhere to those specifications. In addition, Flip was never arrested for violating the conditions of the bond, which means that he was never observed in defiance of such, even though an officer testified that 50-100 percent of a city’s police force was present during the alleged violations.

Miraculously, these God-ordained details allowed for this unforeseen victory in an earthly court of law. God saw fit to use a Christian litigation attorney and a previously overlooked legal statute to vindicate a man of God who faithfully contends for the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the streets of the City of Charlotte.

London’s Main Newspaper Picks Up Viral Video

The Telegraph is London, England’s largest Newspaper.  It is a very liberal.  Yet even this yellow rag was shocked at the rant of Adam Smith towards a young lady at Chick-fil-A, and abortionist Ron Virmani’s tirade against “ugly black babies.”  Amazing that The Telegraph would expose the hatred that exists on the part of the left towards those on the right. 

Why are those on the left filled with such culpable rage?  The Bible tells us in Genesis 3:15, when God places his curse upon the devil:  “And I will put enmity (hatred) between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; He will crush your head, and you will strike His heal.”  It is the battle between two seeds (the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman) that is savaging this world throughout the Bible and the pages of history.

It manifested itself most recently through the persons of Adam Smith and Ron Virmani.  All the world can see that it is really God that they hate.      ~ Flip

That’s a Christian!

Our good friends at Jeremiah’s Call came to be with us at the court house for my bond revocation hearing.  They took some video of the media interviewing me.  Here is a little two minute excerpt from that interview.  We could not give you the Channel 14 video because the abortionist’s name and picture appeared on the news clip at several different points.  We are not allowed to post the name of the abortionist on our website.

John Barros – Man of God!

This is a letter from our wonderful friend John Barros who is celebrating his second year of full-time ministry at the Orlando Women’s Center (OWC), in Orlando, Florida.  John has been a faithful witness for Christ at this abortion mill for a lot longer than two years and so many young children are alive today because he has been there.

Cold Indifference

Several of us spent many hours at the Orlando Women’s Center (OWC) abortion mill during our National Event last summer in Orlando, Florida.  We know well the great saints like John Barros and Deanna Waller who stand in the gap on behalf of babies waiting to be born.  It is so very disheartening to see situations like this.  But it is not at all uncommon.  If only the Church of Jesus Christ would rise up and speak and live the Truth at the gates of hell!

The one very disheartening thing for me is to read the comments that folks write after watching this 38 second video. How darkened can we be? “…They perish because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12.

Muslim Woman Fights for the Life of Her Child

Here is an awesome report just in from Becky Puckett while she was ministering with several of the saints (Dorrie Rayburn, Mike and Kristine O’Dell) at the gates of hell at Meadow abortion mill in Dallas, Texas.  The seeds of the Gospel of Christ tumbled into the heart of a Muslim mom standing in the face of her Muslim husband, who wanted the child dead, saying, “NO, I will not!”  She found some Christian friends to help her along her very courageous path.

“I stationed some of the people behind the lowest points of the wall at the exposed places, posting them by families, with their swords, spears and bows.  After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, ‘Don’t be afraid of them.   Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”  Nehemiah 4: 13-14.

This is exactly what happened this morning at North Park Medical Group located at 8363 Meadow Road, Dallas, TX.  I stood with faithful and seasoned saints, who were stationed as families, at this exposed place in our city.  Prayers were offered up, songs of praise and worship sent up to heaven, and the Sword of the Spirit was unsheathed.   We read from John 3:19 “This is the verdict:  Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of the Light because their deeds were evil.”  This morning that battle between Light and darkness manifested itself in a very physical manner.

It was almost time for us to leave when “the Lord who is great and awesome” revealed to us the work He had been doing in the heart of a young mother.  It seemed as if out of nowhere a young Muslim woman, in her own car, appeared at the entrance to the mill and began to share with us with intense emotion and anger, that she was not willing to kill her baby and would not be forced into this abortion by her Muslim husband.  We quickly gave her counsel and she pulled into the parking lot to gather her possessions and then leave.  Her husband pulled in immediately behind her in his own vehicle and proceeded to block her from leaving.

One of our men asked the young mother if she would like for us to call the police. Upon hearing this, the husband withdrew his vehicle and left the parking lot.  It was only a matter of minutes when this young mother also was leaving from the abortion mill. She stopped to speak with us as she was leaving.  From her own lips she declared that “children are a gift from God”.  That Light was shining into the darkness and she caught a glimpse of the Truth.  She acknowledged that she spoke of Allah and was Muslim and I acknowledged that I spoke of the One Eternal God and His Son Jesus Christ and that we were Christians.  We smiled at one another and she very willingly took our number and information. 

It is our prayer that the Light will continue to shine into the darkness of this young mother and that she and all of her family will come to know the love of the Father who gave His Son, Jesus, that we might have Eternal Life.

Stand firm Saints, station yourselves on the wall as families, don’t be afraid, remember the Lord who is Great and Awesome and fight  for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your homes.  “To God be the Glory.  Great things He has done.  So loved He the world that He gave us His Son.

Last night I received a e-mail stating Youtube may bepulling the video posted of Ron Virmani admitting to killing babies, and his own racist remarks of calling some of them, “Ugly black babies“. This astounding statement has now been seen by several hundred thousands around the world, and has triggered new reports from Charlotte, The Blaze (Glen Beck), Fox News, The Drudge Report, LifeNews, Life site news and many others.

Because of what is transpiring the window of this being video being left on Youtube could be closing. Please continue to share the link on Twitter and Facebook and everywhere else.  Also, you can download it with a Youtube down loader which is fee on the Internet. I want to thank you all for help  getting this video viral throughout the world!

I also ask that you join with me in praying for Ron Virmani’s salvation, I am sure this is heavily weighing on his soul. Imagine; Ron Virmani, bends his knee to the Lord Jesus, what an impact that might be on this dark abominable deed of abortion. With God, “NOTHING is impossible!
