On our opening rally night at our recent Fall regional event in South Dakota, Pastor Matt Trewhella and I tagged teamed to introduce the doctrines of the Lesser Magistrate and Interposition. He took on the former, while I took on the latter. It was the basic abolition package explained Biblically, historically, and governmentally. The doctrine of interposition goes hand in hand with the doctrine of the lesser magistrate. They are two peas in a pod. They are two sides of the same coin. When the lesser magistrate doctrine is applied, interposition takes place. You really cannot have one without the other and both are desperately needed to be rediscovered and applied in our day if our nation is to secure a future and hope for our children and grandchildren.

Interposition in its broadest meaning means to protect someone from the attacks of another. There must be three main parties to constitute the necessity for interposition. There must be an oppressor, their intended victim, and the one who is willing to stand in the gap to protect the victim from the oppressor.

Webster’s 1828 original dictionary defines interposition as, “INTERPOSI’TION, noun [Latin interpositio.]

1. A being, placing or coming between; intervention; as the interposition of the Baltic sea between Germany and Sweden. The interposition of the moon between the earth and the sun occasions a solar eclipse.

2. Intervenient agency; as the interposition of the magistrate in quieting sedition. How many evidences have we of divine interposition in favor of good men!

3. Mediation; agency between parties. By the interposition of a common friend, the parties have been reconciled.
In legal or governmental terms, Black’s Law Dictionary defines interposition as, “The doctrine that a state, in the exercise of its sovereignty, may reject a mandate of the federal government deemed to be unconstitutional or to exceed the powers delegated to the federal government.”

It goes on to state, “The concept is based on the 10th Amendment of the Constitution of the United States reserving to the states powers not delegated to the United States. The doctrine may be peaceable, as by resolution, remonstrance or legislation, or may proceed ultimately to nullification with forcible resistance.”

One of the main reasons why we chose SD for our Fall regional event is this state more than others exercised these doctrines to protect the freedoms of its citizens. Governor Kristi Noem strengthened by the commitment of lesser magistrates in SD took a stand to say no to the Feds when it came to their overreach concerning the Covid 19 pandemic.

She upheld the Constitutional rights of her citizens. No lock downs, no shut down of businesses, and no mandatory mask mandates as she challenged her constituents to be smart and accept personal responsibility. This hearkens back to one of the chief cornerstones of our nation, “Self-government is the key to liberty.”

Clearly, Gov. Noem adhered to the 10th Amendment, the concept of Nullification, the doctrines of the Lesser Magistrate, and Interposition in her heroic stance against federal overreach. She did this to uphold her oath of office to safeguard the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness of the citizens of South Dakota. She is to be highly commended for her principled stand in this age of hysteria stalking the land.

We must remember, government is not our God, doctor, or daddy. It is our government with specific principles and limited authority. Christians must reject the nanny state concept intent on controlling and manipulating the masses, which destroys our freedom in the process. Government needs to stay in its Biblical and Constitutional assigned lane.

Government is not responsible for our healthcare. That is our private responsibility. Socialized medicine is a form of tyranny that is deceitful to its core. C. S. Lewis warned, “Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies.”

Civil government’s duty is clear. The eternal law and temporal, earthly law both reveal its realm of obligations. Government is ordained by God to restrain evil, protect life and stop the shedding of innocent blood. Civil government is God’s ministry of justice that is forbidden to carry the sword in vain (Romans 13:1-4). Civil officials in America also swear an oath to uphold the Constitution (Not an oath to uphold SCOTUS iniquitous decrees) and to protect our God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This is the duty of our civil government, no more and no less. All else is tyranny and injustice.

We came to South Dakota to appeal to Gov. Noem, the church, and the magistrates of South Dakota to take the next important step in the application of these precious doctrines this state has stood upon to check tyranny and preserve freedom. We are beseeching this state to take the next critical step, cross the line of obedience to God, and make redemptive history in our nation.

The same doctrines this state just exercised needs to be implemented when it comes to the two most important issues for our national survival, the defense of the preborn by preserving their right to life, liberty, and property and preserving the God ordained institution of marriage and family.

When I served in the army with the 101st Airborne, they drilled us with the importance of following the doctrine of interposition. Our military superiors demanded that we obey all lawful orders, even unto death, if necessary, and we were to also disobey all unlawful orders. Why this moral distinction and clarity? Obeying unlawful orders, historically, has led to war atrocities.

Without the doctrine of interposition, there is no United States of America. The lesser magistrates here in America stood between the tyranny of king George and parliament to secure our God given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness or the protection of our private property. The moral underpinnings to justify becoming an Independent nation was based upon the “Laws of nature and nature’s God.” Our Founding Fathers appealed to heaven and God’s higher law to interpose and establish America. What founded this nation must be applied today to preserve our nation.

The Biblical examples of interposition abound throughout Holy Writ. As the Hebrew writer declared, “The time would fail me” to expound upon them all. In Ezekiel 22:30, 31, God demands it, “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. Therefore, I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord GOD.”

Israel had become extremely idolatrous, just like America today. The prince, priest, prophet, and people all corrupted themselves. In the midst of this spiritual and moral treachery, God called for someone to intercede, intervene, and interpose, lest He recompense our abominable deeds on our own heads.”

In fact, the fiery Scottish Reformer, John Knox, quoted seventy passages of Scripture on interposition in his famous treatise called Appellation to convince the Scottish nobles to interpose against the tyranny of the king of England to secure Scottish freedom.

Most people understand that Daniel and the three Hebrew boys obeyed God rather than man in their showdown with despotism. How many connect the dots, however, and realized they also interposed as lesser magistrates in Nebuchadnezzar’s administration?

In closing, the greatest example of interposition of all time is the interposition of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is the essence of the Gospel of the Kingdom that our Lord stood between God’s demand for justice, His Holy wrath against sin, the world, the flesh, and the devil to save those who would call upon the Lord who is mighty to save. The church of the living God is obligated to follow our Lord’s example and to love as He loved. God help us to apply this doctrine in our day and may the Lord watch over His Word to perform it in Jesus’ name!

This brief, powerful video needs to spread far and wide saints. With all our learning and technical advances, mankind is still duped by the ancient evils and the dark, brutal pagan practices of yore.
Time to repent, pray, and act to abolish abortion. Thomas Jefferson warned, “I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever.” Arise O God and let this enemy be scattered in Jesus’ name!
Brother Jake Eakin was the last minister of the Gospel of the Kingdom to address our final rally night in South Dakota. He could not be there in person due to the nature of his powerful testimony. Instead, he sent us this 12 minute video that we played to close out the event.
The reason why we held it to the end was because this was the last taste of our ministry that we wanted to leave in South Dakota. We desired to let folks know that no matter how dark, wicked, and impossible the person and situation, we serve a God that is mighty to save.
We wanted specifically to reach out and minister to post abortive men, women, and families bound by the sin and crime of abortion. If God can redeem Moses, King David, and the Apostle Paul, all former murderers, He can redeem Jake and those guilty of murdering their own children.
Jake was a murderer and his precious bride was a lesbian that wanted to become a man. Watch how the Lord stepped in and did His wonderful transformative work in their lives. It is glorious!
I would encourage you to send this out far and wide. To God be the glory, the great things Has has done! The former murderer now uses his time, treasure, and talent to save souls and lives.

“And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know and Paul I know, but who are you” (Acts 19:15)?
While proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom at the last remaining death camp in South Dakota, a small group pro-aborts as usual threw a party. They danced, mocked, blasphemed, and were profane.
One lady with an extremely vulgar mouth lifted her bull horn to declare this revealing statement that is an indictment against the church of the living God, “Go back to your Kumbaya churches and leave us alone.”
Translation: the “normal” church in America does not disturb our demonic activity as we defend the altars of Moloch and Baal and murder babies made in the image of God.
I’ll let that stay right there and God forgive His people for enabling the powers of darkness by our silent consent to kill, steal, and destroy while we sing Kumbaya in our churches.

Encouraged by hands-off COVID-19 approach, group seeking state abortion ban plans South Dakota ‘operation’

Dallas-based Operation Save America is planning to hold an “Operation Abolish Abortion” event in Sioux Falls from Oct. 21-24. Group leader Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas said the group decided on a South Dakota event after watching Gov. Kristi Noem and the state Legislature resist calls for mandates and lockdowns meant to limit the spread of COVID-19. Now the state should go its own way on laws regarding abortion, the group believes.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — An anti-abortion group seeking state abortion bans is planning to hold an event in South Dakota later this month, encouraged by Gov. Kristi Noem’s relatively hands-off approach to pandemic restrictions that bucked some federal recommendations.

Dallas-based Operation Save America is planning to hold an “Operation Abolish Abortion” event in Sioux Falls, based out of a Baptist church in Montrose, S.D., from Oct. 21 to 24.

The event will include protests at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Sioux Falls, the only place to get an abortion in the state, as well as a high school and college campus, according to the Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas, national director for Operation Save America.

Thomas said the group decided on a South Dakota event after watching Noem and the state Legislature resist calls for mandates and lockdowns meant to limit the spread of COVID-19, including calls from some federal health officials for more restrictive action, including promotion of mask-wearing.

The group says it has purchased a $1,600 advertisement in the Pierre Capital Journal newspaper on Oct. 22 to publish an open letter to officials praising Noem and legislators for their approach.

“South Dakota has led the way in securing the liberty of its citizens during this politically charged pandemic,” the group’s letter begins, according to its post. “The governor and the legislators took a principled stand against the overreach of the federal government to safeguard freedom.”

Thomas said his group is seeking for Noem and other leaders to now take a go-it-alone approach to ban abortion.

“We just want to encourage her and the Legislature to be consistent,” he said. “We did this to protect the life and liberty and the freedom of the citizens under your jurisdiction in South Dakota. Now how about doing this for the pre-born?”

Noem spokesman Ian Fury Thursday, Oct. 8, said the governor wasn’t familiar with the group and hadn’t been in contact with them.

“She stands for the right to life of every human being, born and unborn, and respects everyone’s First Amendment freedoms of religion, speech and assembly,” Fury wrote.

Operation Save America will also seek to meet with local officials to encourage them to “interpose” against federal law and Supreme Court decisions legalizing abortion and gay marriage, based on a belief held by the group known as the Lesser Magistrate Doctrine, said Thomas.

Under the doctrine, state and local officials have the right and responsibility to step in and essentially ignore a federal law or Supreme Court decision considered unjust or immoral.

A spokeswoman for Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken on Thursday said the group has not contacted the mayor’s office

Protests detailed for Planned Parenthood

Operation Save America is the successor to Operation Rescue, a group that made a name for itself in the late ’80s and early ’90s under activist leader Randall Terry when its members conducted sit-ins to physically block access to clinics.

(Another group based in Kansas named Operation Rescue considers itself the true successor to the original group.)

Thomas said direct action, such as blocking clinic access, is something his group does, calling it “still a tool in the toolbox.”

Thomas said his group’s plans for the Planned Parenthood protest in Sioux Falls include prayers, worship, preaching and sidewalk counselors to talk to those seeking to visit the clinic, and wouldn’t include all attendees.

Thomas said he’s not sure how many people will attend, partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization booked 30 rooms in a Sioux Falls hotel, with an additional 10 rooms in another hotel to accommodate overflow attendees, according to a post on the group’s Facebook page. The event’s host church is Ramsey Baptist Church in Montrose, according to the group.

The Sioux Falls Police Department Friday said the group hasn’t requested or received a permit, which is required for any assembly involving 25 people or more.

Planned Parenthood said it was preparing for the group’s arrival and would reach out to authorities if needed.

“We will be prepared to care for our patients and help them navigate the event so they can get the health care that they need and that they rely on us to provide,” Planned Parenthood said in a statement. “We will contact the authorities if the rights of our patients or staff are threatened or violated.”

Getting ready to give an address today at the Texas State Capitol in Austin TX for the Constitutional Summit event. It will be an all day affair as God-fearing, liberty loving Americans gather together to demand Texas and our nation open up and quit exercising tyranny under the guise of doing it for our good.
 
The spirit of oppression hangs here like a fog. My assignment is to minister on the doctrine of the lesser magistrate. It is the doctrine that helped establish our nation and it must be rediscovered and reapplied to preserve our nation. Pastor Matt Trewhella was scheduled to give the address, but could not make it. He asked me to pinch hit and it is my honor to do so in his stead.
 
It is good to remind ourselves not only the benefits of liberty, but our responsibilities as well. In 1791, Edmund Burke observed, “Men are qualified for civil liberty in exact proportion to their disposition to put moral chains upon their own appetites…society cannot exist unless a controlling power upon will and appetite be placed somewhere, and the less of it there is within, the more there is without. It is ordained in the eternal constitution of things that men of intemperate minds cannot be free. Their passions forge their fetters.”
 
America, only the Gospel of the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ can break the chains of sin from within to make us fit for liberty without.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth (3 John 1:4)

As some of you may know, the Lord has blessed our family with thirteen children. Two of them have passed on and eleven remain to serve the Lord. As a father and minister of the Gospel of the Kingdom, it is rewarding to know that my children seek to walk in the truth and advance God’s Kingdom and great salvation amongst men.

Thankfully, there is not only a physical seed, but a spiritual seed as well. There are sons and daughters in the faith. One young man recently worked diligently to rally the church and Christians to be salt and light in the culture of death, especially, as it is manifesting in the corrupt and deadly city of Chicago.

As elder men in the Body of Christ, it should be our desire to train up and send forth the next generation of leaders a time like this demands. It is important to steady the ladder and allow the next generation of committed Christians to go further up and further in to serve their King. One such young man is Mario Navarro. The following is his report on the Wake-Up Chicago conference. Be encouraged saints.

This last week of September 23-27th we had our Wake-Up Chicago conference. Metro Praise International was gracious enough to not only open their doors, but to join in the mission as well.

They are one of the few churches who stood up against the tyranny of the shutdowns. We had many fruitful outreaches such as reaching the magistrates (Open Letter to Police). We passed out hundreds of “What is Happening to America” tracts at strategic places in the city. Great speakers, such as, Tom Hoefling, TJ Hughes, Kristine Harhoef, Tyler Turdici, and Jared Walker declared truth in love. I can say unequivocally that this mission was a fruitful one.

The climate in the city made for the perfect storm as far as things went with protests, and the death of RBG. God moved in the hearts of many people as we were able to minister at some of the BLM protests alongside brothers from MPI. We shared that true justice begins and ends with the Gospel of the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Micah 6:8 declares, “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”

Many people were recruited onto the mission from the streets, and many were also reconnected to local churches. The Lord has been calling out the remnant and reclaiming them for His glory and their benefit.

All and all, our city was called to repent for the shedding of innocent blood the rejection of the gospel, repent and believe the Gospel. The Kingdom of God is at hand.

Since Ginsburg passed, the political left has lost it. They are going ballistic and are on the war path. They are cursing the heavens and throwing a temper tantrum that Ginsgurg died before a Democrat could appoint the next Supreme Court Justice to take her place. They must guard their legalized atrocities at all costs.
In typical fashion, when a vacancy opens on SCOTUS, the pro-life establishment becomes giddy. The prospect of Trump appointing a strict constitutionalist and pro-life justice to “overturn” Roe vs. Wade is an exhilarating elixir. He chose Amy Coney Barrett. Do we have any indication of her judicial disposition? This is her statement as it pertains to the 7th circuit court, “I would be absolutely bound by Supreme Court precedent. I would also be bound by Seventh Circuit precedent, consistent with the circuit’s doctrine of stare decisis. Lawrence v. Texas (Legalizing sodomy) is binding precedent that I will faithfully follow if confirmed. I would not attach legal significance to my personal view on any question.”
Granted, as a 7th circuit judge, she gave the politically correct answer. The lower court is bound by the precedent of the higher court. In her acceptance speech, she continued with this line of judicial reasoning and did what every other potential “pro-life” judge has done. She distanced herself from her faith and from being a conservative. She feigned neutrality in the hopes the God haters, sodomites, and baby murderers might give her a pass and confirm her nomination.
Honestly, the whole process sickens me. To have to deny who we are and what we believe to serve our country reveals partially why we are in this pathetic state. Most likely, she will be forced by the powers that be to give similar responses as she goes through the grueling process to be confirmed. If approved, it will be interesting to find out how she will rule when it comes to the lies of the land, pretending to be “law.”
For the pro-life movement, this ongoing Supreme Court drama represents their one political strategy as it pertains to Roe vs. Wade. They believe the makeup of the court must change. The political scheme is to elect pro-life Republican presidents in the hopes he will appoint pro-life justices to overturn Roe vs. Wade.
This has been the failed political tactic for 47 years as the carnage persists. Every four years, this dog and pony show is trotted out and every four years nothing changes. Pro-life politicians get their votes. The pro-life groups raise money. They take pictures together, pat each other’s backs and everyone gets what they want, except the true victim of abortion, the preborn child made in the image of God.
We must remember it was a Republican stacked SCOTUS that unleashed the hellish Roe vs. Wade decision upon us in the first place. There were two Democrats sitting on that court and one of them dissented. For 47 years, Republican appointed justices held the majority. Did they overturn Roe? Did they even weaken it? No, they strengthened it, when they had chances to overturn it.
Someone noted, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.” Tragically, we must face the facts, the pro-life movement has chosen this definition of insanity as our officially policy in dealing with the murder of the preborn. Proverbs 14:12 addresses this disastrous approach, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”
Most do not realize it has been the pro-life incremental bills that have served to strengthen the stranglehold of Roe upon our bloodstained nation. The bills working under the confines of Roe gave its lawlessness legal credence. Therefore, the abolitionist movement for years has cried out, “Any legislative bill that attempts to comply with Roe v. Wade is wrong. Roe is evil, unjust, tyrannical, and unconstitutional. It must not be appeased or legitimized. It must be ignored and defied by the states.”
Another reality check the church must face is what happens if Roe, by a miracle of God, is eventually overturned? The pro-life bills that gave credibility to Roe have written abortion into their state statues. This means abortion will continue in the states that chose to regulate baby murder, instead of ending it. Only a bill of abolition will remove those exceptions from the homicide code and in so doing will reflect the justice of God by treating abortion as a crime that must be penalized by law.
As the drama of the Supreme Court plays out in these tumultuous times, I would encourage you to get off the pro-life hamster wheel that has been bottlenecked by the Supreme Court and join the abolitionist movement to abolish abortion now in Jesus’ name!
