Many of you know Sheryl Chandler.  She has been a faithful sidewalk counselor in the streets of Charlotte for decades.  Her ministry in these past four years has really allowed the theology of the church house to become biography in the streets in a marvelous way.  God is up to something big in these days.  He always is.  We just need to have eyes that see and ears that hear.

Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.”
Psalm 85:10

Happy New Year! I hope you are rejoicing as we close out 2011 and enter 2012. I showered and evangelized 24 moms in 2011 and pray for more ministry opportunities in the coming year. Continuously, we humans open and close years as time marches on, but it’s incredible to think that the Lord knows no such boundaries as time. It’s an amazing thought, to realize that the God of all creation entered our realm of time and space when He came as a man to our world. As you know, I homeschool my two children and this year in history and literature we are studying the ancient world. We will soon place GOD on our timeline, where His first coming distinctly and directly divides our entire measurement of time. I can barely conceive it. We recently studied ancient Greece and their alphabet, which begins with Alpha and ends with Omega. Revelation 22:13 defines Jesus as the “Alpha and Omega; the beginning and the end.” He is truly the first and the last. Everything originates with Him and everything will end in Him. Everything comes from God and nothing will outlast Him. He has no competition. He is the first word and the last word in history, and He controls everything in between. Here is a photo of my kids and me with our Greek alphabet:

Since I last sent you an update, I’ve provided 4 showers and 3 babies have been born. Please read all the way to the end, because I have some very exciting news to share regarding pro-life ministry here in Charlotte. You don’t want to miss this announcement!

1) Lisa Metzger, a gifted sidewalk counselor, met Jennifer early last summer in front of the abortion clinic called “A Preferred Women’s Health Center”. Ugh. (We can’t bear the lies encapsulated in that name, so we just call it “Latrobe” for the street it’s located on.) Jennifer is from Florence, SC and has a 3-year old son named Jalen. Lisa and her family opened their home to Jennifer and Jalen and provided hospitality to them a few times. This is a valuable part of the ministry, as Jennifer was able to witness, likely for the first time, a loving, functioning Christian family.

This photo was taken the day Lisa met Jennifer. Lisa is counseling her, pleading for life, and offering hope and truth, right through Jennifer’s open car window, in front of the abortion clinic. This photo perfectly depicts what we do on the streets.

Throughout her pregnancy, Jennifer experienced a great deal of early labor and was in and out of the hospital several times. I prepared all her shower things quite early, including preemie clothing, thinking she would have the baby around week 34, after the doctors stopped aggressively preventing labor. Alas, she held on…and on…and on. She ended up going well PAST her due date, and then the doctors threatened to induce her! This series of events gets even more interesting, because Jennifer delivered her son, Damir Mason, IN THE CAR on the way to the hospital! What a story! Damir’s cord was crimped and he had to be resuscitated by EMT, but now mother and baby are both fine and healthy, thank the Lord! Damir weighed 7lb 9oz and was 21″ long.

As soon as he was born, Lisa drove 2 hours south to deliver the Truth & Mercy baby gifts to Jennifer. Lisa tells me that Damir means “to give peace” and Mason means “to work with stone”. God turned and softened Jennifer’s stony heart, which was originally intent on abortion, and He gave her peace to let her baby live!

Below is a photo is of Jennifer and Lisa, who is holding the rescued baby. Next is a close up of Damir.

2) In early November, I showered Lily, who had her baby girl, Yaleal a few weeks later. They live in Monroe, so I don’t have pictures of Yaleal yet, but I do have a photo of Lily and her 2-year old son, Christian, who was saved from abortion and showered in 2009. She asked for help with this baby, too. I had never met Christian in person. It was a joy to see him face-to-face!

3) Next, I received a call for help from Ositata and his wife, Vivan, who are from Nigeria. They needed practical help for their 6-month daughter, Kamsey (pronounced Comzee). I showered them with clothing and toys in early December. Vivan was opposed to my taking and showing her photo, or her daughter’s. She is deathly afraid of the demonic practice of voodoo and was apprehensive that people would practice it using her images. She has had very real experiences with it in her native land. This provided a divine opportunity for me to present the Gospel of Christ to them. I also explained clearly and passionately that voodoo would not occur with me or you, my wonderful supporters who would view the photos, but she could not be convinced. People who don’t believe this evil practice occurs need to have a conversation with Vivan or others who have experienced it. Don’t be lulled to sleep, thinking the devil is not real or witchcraft doesn’t happen – and don’t be entertained by its book and movie depictions. It devastates lives and souls. Gratefully, Ositata courageously let me take his photo, but also know that little Kamsey was adorable! Here he is, most appreciative for assistance from Truth & Mercy.

4) Also in early November, I showered Illse, a pregnant woman Katherine Hearn met in front of the Latrobe Ave abortion facility. Illse’s story twists and turns, but suffice it to say, she was pregnant and in need of practical help and spiritual counsel. Thankfully, she chose life for this baby. She has two young children, Alex and Selene. Truth & Mercy showered her abundantly with 2-years of clothing, a changing table/dresser combo unit, pad, cover, car seat/stroller combo, bouncy seat, johnny jump-up, sling carrier, high chair, tub, Boppy pillow, crib sheets, bedding set, blankets, hooded towels, washcloths, head support, sleep positioner, toys, books, movies, photo frames and album, hangers, diaper bag, shampoo, powder, lotion, baby wash, pacifiers, and a very generous supply of diapers and wipes. She was overwhelmed and extremely grateful for the baby items.

After Illse went through her lovely gifts, Katherine took us all out for pizza and as the kids played, we talked seriously about the Gospel. Sadly, Illse seemed detached and disinterested, but I pray the Lord will move upon her heart in the future. She has certainly been told about God’s plan of salvation – His love and mercy – and it has been clearly demonstrated to her in a manner she will likely never forget. I pray that she will read, understand and believe the message in the Gospel materials I left with her. May God open her eyes to His truth.

Her baby, Melanie, was born weighing 7lb on December 5. Here is a photo of Illse taken on her shower date and a photo of Melanie, a few days old.

I next will shower Ashley, Trina, U’Leasa and Shaquana. All are having GIRLS! For many years, the boys far outnumbered the girls (roughly 5:1), but recently, girls are making a comeback!

I’ve provided 24 lavish showers this year, which is fairly typical. All 24 of these women have had an encounter with the living God, both in word and deed. They have all been shown His love and mercy. Thank you for equipping and supporting Truth & Mercy so that I can sow into these precious lives. May God receive all the glory and praise.

Now for the BIG news! For the last year, I’ve been working with a dedicated group of pro-lifers as we develop a new ministry, which is really a MOVEMENT. We call this organization Cities4Life. Our vision is to connect and unify all the pro-life work being done in Charlotte onto one website. This way we can easily direct pregnant women to the site and thereby to the particular assistance they need. We also desire to bring in new pro-life Christians to serve in various ways. The site will be a common link to all the prolife efforts. We hope and pray that this model will be replicated in cities all over the country.

Christians can easily navigate the site and find an area in which to serve. Everything is clearly described, from front-line street ministry, to medical care, to pregnancy centers, adoption agencies, housing, baby showers, and more. Go to Cities4Life.org for more information.

Our mission is Proclaim. Provide. Protect. Pray.

PROCLAIM: Our purpose is to glorify our Lord and Savior and proclaim His Gospel and His truth. We expose the evil lies and deeds of the abortion industry. We proclaim that abortion is the violent killing of the unborn. We proclaim this message peacefully and nonviolently in front of area killing centers and throughout our culture.

PROVIDE: Our purpose is to glorify the Lord by providing tangible support to women and families in need, as Scripture commands. This support is in the form of medical care, baby items, housing, adoption services and pregnancy care services and Biblical counseling.

PROTECT: Our purpose is to glorify the Lord by seeking and supporting Godly measures to protect the unborn in our city, state and nation.

PRAY: Our purpose is to glorify the Lord by bringing our prayerful presence to the streets as well as to our churches and homes. We pray for mercy on the unborn children scheduled to die. We pray for the eyes and hearts of parents and abortion providers to be opened to God’s truth. We prayerfully support those who proclaim His truth and those who seek legal protection for these vulnerable lives.

David Benham, of Benham Companies and Benham Real Estate, is our visionary leader. It was his goal to see this movement materialize and he has largely funded it to this point. He organized the first dinner, held last January, where he cast the vision before hundreds of Christians. Throughout the year, our small team has met, discussed and labored to make it happen. For me personally, it’s been and honor and a thrill to be a part of this committee.

You are Invited
I desire for you to come to our second annual dinner, to be held Friday, January 20 at 7pm at the Embassy Suites Hotel near Concord Mills Mall (5400 John Q. Hammons Drive NW, Concord NC 28027). You will hear more about this incredible launch, meet several moms, dads and babies who have been saved from abortion and ministered to and provided for, and perhaps most exciting to many, Alex Kendrick will be our keynote speaker! He is the co-producer, co-writer and star of the hit Christian movies Courageous, Fireproof and Facing the Giants. He will bring an inspiring message about having courage to defend the lives of the unborn. You can hear his dinner invitation to you at http:/www.Cities4Life.org

The dinner is free, but be aware that it is a fundraiser. After you hear about this exciting new endeavor, you will likely be pleased to give, but if not, the dinner is still free. Pre-register quickly at Cities4Life.org/events. Registration officially opens Jan. 2, but for now, you can pre-register to hold your spot(s). If you want to bring others, for now, pre-register by listing “your name + XX others”. You can register as many as 10 to a table. After Jan. 2, the C4L folks will email you with more information about the dinner.

Our dinner date is not a coincidence. January 22, 1973, was the day the dreadful Roe vs. Wade decision was handed down, and during the past 39 years, over 58 million unborn children have been slaughtered. Throughout this January weekend, we will be remembering life, celebrating life and proclaiming life at 3 distinct events.

Remember Life:
On Friday Jan. 20, from 11:30am-1pm at the downtown corner of Trade and Tryon in Charlotte, we will gather to remember the lives lost in our city and nation the last 39 years. We will have a memorial service and dedicate ourselves to protecting lives in the future. This is a hallowed time of repentance, prayer, worship, and testimony.

Celebrate Life:
We will hold the Cities4Life dinner that Friday night, Jan. 20 at 7pm, rejoicing in the lives the Lord has spared and provided for, through the ministries of various pro-life groups, including Truth & Mercy.

Proclaim Life:
We will gather at A Preferred Women’s Health Center the following Saturday morning, Jan. 21 from 9:30-11am. The address is 3220 Latrobe Ave, Charlotte NC 28211. This will be a peaceful time of prayer and proclamation. We worship Jesus right on the sidewalk in front of this center. We reach out to men and women entering and exiting the building. We proclaim the Gospel message, which alone has power to change hearts and minds…and lives!

Please come and pray, proclaim, provide and protect life!

This just in from Rusty.  Our new year is beginning before the old one ends.  In our concerted effort to “…plead the case of the fatherless to win it.”  Jeremiah 5: 28, and to bring abortion to an end in our nation; Operation – First Abortion Free State has been joined by some amazing friends.  Here is just a taste of those willing to help.  ~ Flip

Dear Champion of the Lord and the Preborn,

As promised, this is Michael Marcavages report on his efforts in Mississippi. Michael heads up the States of Refuge intelligence apsects concerning the waste management companies that service the death camps in the five states that have one abortion mill remaining defiling our land. As you will see, the Lord blessed his efforts in Mississippi.

Also, the Lord also gave us favor with American Family Association and their radio divsion, AFR radio. They have agreed to run our States of Refuge spot for the entire month of January across their vast nationwide network. The following is their communication to us. Please continue to pray as the vision and mission spreads.

Rusty,

We will be glad to run your PSA’s for the SOHL month emphasis here at AFR. We will be glad to do what we can do. We actually have stations in all five states included in the project, so hopefully, we can make a difference.

God bless you in your efforts and may we one day end the scourge of the killing of the innocent unborn!

For the Master,

Dr. Buster Wilson

General Manager, AFR

Abortion Collaboration Investigated in Mississippi

The Campaign to Stop Stericycle (CSS), a project of Repent America, traveled to Mississippi earlier this month to hurl a stone at the Goliath of the abortion holocaust.

In conjunction with States of Refuge, which is working to establish the first abortion-free states in America, the ministry visited Jackson, Mississippi to gather information regarding the last abortion facility in the state. Jackson Women’s Health Organization is being serviced by Stericycle, the nation’s leading medical waste company, which assists with the disposal of their abortion “waste.” Click here to view photographic evidence gathered during the investigation, and here to view a video of Stericycle’s collection stop.

Because of the ministry’s efforts, one of the companies that has been maintaining the truck being used by Stericycle has stated that it will no longer do so, and a second company, which has been leasing the vehicle to the medical waste giant, is now considering prohibiting them from using it to service the abortion facility. Additionally, after uncovering potential permit violations, the ministry contacted the Mississippi Department of Environmental Conservation, which has agreed to investigate the matter. Please pray that the work of CSS will continue to be successful and that abortion will come to a swift end in the state.

“Open thy mouth for the [voiceless] in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.” – Proverbs 31:8

For sure Michelle Wolven of Atlanta, Georgia, has been allowing the light of Jesus to shine through her.  She is a mother of nine and happily married to her husband Mike for twenty-four years.  For those of us who know Mike, we are well aware of the major accomplishment and miracle this is.  As a result of Michelle’s work, the abortion industry in Atlanta is being exposed for the liar, murderer, and thief that it is.  Medicaid fraud.  Ahhhh, the Christmas miracle – allowing the Word of God to become flesh.  John 1:1-5.

DeKalb County Physician Indicted for Using Medicaid Funds to Perform Abortions
A DeKalb County Grand Jury indicted Tyrone Cecil Malloy, MD, and his former office manager CathyAnn Edwards Warner on December 8, 2011, on two counts of Medicaid Fraud, O.C.G.A. 49-4-146.1(b)(2). Malloy owns and operates Old National Gynecology, a medical practice devoted to the performance of abortions.

The indictment alleges that Malloy and Edwards accepted medical assistance payments for medical office visits associated with the performance of elective abortions and for ultrasound services which were never performed. Federal funds may not be used to pay for abortions and services associated with abortions, except in instances where the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest or under circumstances in which continuation of the pregnancy would endanger the life of the mother.

Medicaid Fraud is punishable by one to ten years in prison and a fine of $10,000.00.

Senior Assistant Attorney General Nancy Allstrom is prosecuting the case on behalf of the State of Georgia. The case was investigated by Investigator Shakethia Morgan, Investigative Auditor Cliff Finney, Nurse Investigator Beth Ann Teague and Criminal Analyst Tish Murray, all of the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU). Criminal Analyst Carmen Staley and Investigator Bill Bruce of the MFCU and Nurse Analyst Wylene Moore of the Georgia Department of Community Health assisted with the investigation.

Mike Warren gives a first-hand view of how the Gospel of Christ is progressing in Turkey, Amsterdam, and Poland.  Our three valiant missionaries have witnessed some of the trials and tribulations our Lord’s church suffers in these lands when the light of the Gospel of Christ shines in the darkness.

Here is Cal Zastrow’s report of what happened to his son Jimmy and hi team leader, Jerry Crawford while on a missions trip in China.  This is so well written (lots of purposefully misspelled words) and expresses such an eternal truth of a father’s pride in his son standing strong for Jesus.  Thank you all for your prayers.  They have all been answered.  And a father’s prayer for his son, so powerful. ~ Flip

Dear family and friends,

Hohliness unto Him!

“Tears Flowing Over My Fourteen-Year-Old Son’s Arest”

Dec. 10, 2011

Yes, my beloved son, James Elliot Zastrow was arested this week.  I haven’t see him yet.  He has only been able to call twice.

We had prayed that he would turn out right.  We homeschool him, take him to church, and now this happens.  The police took him to a real jaal, booked him, fingerprinted him, and are currently detaining him.  They even called him “incorrigable” when he showed no remorse for what he had done, and he wouldn’t shut up.

My heart is bursting.  The tears keep flowing.

I’m bursting with joy.  I’m bursting with thanksgiving.   I’m weeping and prasing G d that Jimmy is turning out right.  This kid really gets it!

He and his sub-team leader, Rescuer Jerry Crawford, were arested in Gansu Province, Commnist Chna, and are still being held under hotel-arest.  They will know soon if they are to be released or dported.  Their “criyme” was distrubiting Chinese Scrpture booklets in an unevanglized city in West Chna, and targeting Muslihm homes.  They had spent a night walking through their city, placing the booklets at the entrances of thousands of homes.  Although they weren’t cought at night, the Communst pohlease arested them when they tried to check out of their hotel early the next morning to catch the first bus out of town.

While the hotel lobby filled with pohlease, Jerry sent me a quick text message, “Pra3y.”   I did!

A couple of hours later, he sent another one: “Being detained.  Will call with details when  we can.”
I quickly replied with the two-word exhortaton I often give my kids and friends: “Preech good.”

After initial interrogaytions and the Communsts seized the rest of their Chinese Gahspel tr4acts, Jerry’s third text broke the dam of my emotions.  My tears fell down as my hands raised up in wereship to G d, thanking Him for what He was doing in my son’s life: “You can be very proud of your son.  He preeched good.”

When Jerry was able to call later, he told of Jimmy’s faythful (and respectful) wihtnessing to the pohlease.  When Jerry and Jim wouldn’t agree that what they had done was wrong, and because they kept talking about J s s, the Communsts reprimanded them, called them “incorrigable,” and then tried to intimidate them.  My boy and Jerry were taken into a real Cheyenese jaal, walked past sell blocks, shown the gate to the donejun, booked as common riminals, and further questioned.  Jimmy just kept talking about J s s.  Later, I asked him on the phone if their efforts worked to intimidate him.  He replied, “Naw.”

“But was it scary being in the jaal?”

     “Yes Dad, kinda.”
“When they showed you the donejun, did you think of Pilgrm from John Bunyn’s Plgrm’s Progress?”

     “Ha!  I sure did, Dad!”

He went on to say that the Public Sacurity Burow was awaiting orders from Beijing, but that they were under hotel-arest for at least the next five days.  They have permission to walk to nearby restaurants, but “Captain Richard” has their passports, preventing them from travelling or even checking into another hotel.

Some of my newer readers may be questioning my parenting and wisdom in allowing my son to do such activities with such people.

I trained Jimmy last April how to distribute the Scrptre booklets in Chines cities, so I’m pleased that he succeeded in not making any mistakes to get cawt at night.  Ten years ago, we quit counting after hitting the fifty million mark for such Gahspel traccts being delivered this way in Chna.    Untold numbers of new Undrgrnd Chrchs have been started in places where teams like ours have spread the Wrd.  We do it in such ways as to not endanger the Chnese Chrstns.

As far as allowing him to go across Chna with Jerry Crawford, I’ll reply that there aren’t very many men I’d rather have my son be with than him.  Jerry and I met nineteen years ago in Buffalo, New York.  Along with hundreds of other pr-lifers, we did sit-ins to shut down surgical aboartuaries.  We were arested.  We spent twenty-four days in jaal together.  The first nine were in the aesbestos-filled dunjun of the Niagara Street Armery before being dumped into the Bravo Day Room of the Erie County Holding Center.  You get to know people when you suffer with them, when you are in jaal together.  We’ve stayed close through the years, and have been in other jaals together for peacefully stopping baby-mrder.  He and I have also been together evanjelizing in Chna.

Jerry said that the pohlease had lots of questions after seeing his tatoo, from his time in Vietnam.  Jerry is a U.S. Marine veteran who didn’t leave any Marines behind in Danang during real combt, so I knew he wasn’t about to leave my son behind either.  Yes, I trust Jerry with my life, and my son’s life.   These Communsts had never met a real Americn Marine before, let alone one who had fought Communsts.  And they had him in custody now.  You and I both are wondering what all questions they asked him.  I know that Jerry’s answers always lifted up J s s.

Jimmy was very excited on the phone last night.  He had found a music store near the hotel, went in, and played some of their instruments.   I’m sure the first song he played on a Chnese violin was “Power in the Blod.”  Other songs he knows by heart, and can play on the piano or guitar include “Stand Up, Stand Up for J s s, ”  “Agnus Dei,” “Fayth of Our Fathers,”  and “All Hail The Power of J s s Name.”   I wonder if he played the violin or piano and sang all the verses to “Fayth of Our Fathers?”  He loves to do so.  We sing them often at home.  He knows well the second verse:

“Our fathers chaind in prisns dark, were still in heart and conscienc free.
How sweet their children’s fate would be, if we like them, could die for Thee.

Fayth of our fathers , hohly fayth,

we will be true to Thee til death.”

He also knows all the verses to “Stand Up , STand Up, for J s s.”

Here are two extra verses I wrote while in jaal with Jerry in Buffalo:

“Stand up , stand up for J s s ye sodiers of Rescue

Abrshun mrders babies, and sometimes women too

Ye that blieve in J s s interpose in the babies’ place

And if He finds you faithful, then you will see His face.”

“Stand up , stand up for J s s, ye prisoners of Rescue

Let us look unto our Sayvoir, His trial was unjust too

May we reflect Your glowry while we’re behind these bars

We wereship You Kng J s s, the One who bears our scars.”

“Hey Dad!  I met this guy at the music store who made this really cool mountain instrument!  It has strings and is played a little bit like a violin.  Can I buy it, huh?  It is only 300 kwai (forty-some U.S. dollars).  He showed me how to hold it and play it, and it is really cool!”

“Sure Jim,  buy it if you want to.”

The text I received from Jerry this morning says that Jim bought it for cheap and is “working hard at earning time to play it.”  I sent him some suggestions for “earning” including: 1.  Use soap and shampoo when he showers.  2.  Stop talking about how much he likes to eat chicken feet.  3.  Wash his clothes in the sink. Etc.

I am very pleased with Jimmy, and so long to see him in two more weeks. He understands clearly that he was born for misshuns.  As he works out his own slvation with fear and trembling, I’m very blessd to see him follow Chrst, saving his own money to go on trips like this.  Being as he will probably not get another visa to Chna, perhaps he can start learning Farsi, or Arabic, and prepare to evanjelize those unreached people.

I’m thankful for friends who prry for our family.  His sister and brother are also in Chna now, doing the same activities in other cities.   Please also praay for poor old Jerry Crawford now.  He will need more grayce and patience to listen to a very zealous teenager screeching away on some Chinse mountain instrument in a hotel in Gansu.

Update: Dec. 16th

The pohlease have been playing “good cahp, bad cahp,” and tried to get Jerry to pay them hundreds of U.S. dollars.  Ha!  That extorshun didn’t work.  I talked to them both on the phone last night.   They are supposedly being released today and put on a train for Bayjing, where they will be free to await their flights home next week.

Thanks everyone for “thinking” of us.  Some very wonderful and amazing things are happening in other places.  I’ll write more in a week.

I am shouting Glohry all the way!

Backward Christian Soldiers

Backward Christian soldiers, fleeing from the fight,

With the cross of Jesus, nearly out of sight!

Christ our rightful Master, stands against the foe,

But forward into battle, we are loath to go.

Like a mighty tortoise, moves the Church of God;

Brothers, we are treading, where we’ve often trod.

We are much divided, many bodies we,

Having different doctrines, not much charity.

Crowns and thorns may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,

But the Church of Jesus, hidden does remain.

Gates of hell should never, ‘gainst the Church prevail,

We have Christ’s own promise, but think that it will fail.

Sit here, then, ye people, join our useless throng;

Blend with ours, your voices, in a feeble song.

Blessings, ease and comfort, ask from Christ the King.

With our modern thinking, we don’t do a thing!

Backward Christian Soldiers…

This just in from Mike Warren.  Please lift our brothers up in prayer. ~ Flip

Hello Friends,

Dec. 2nd Jerry Crawford joined 14 other Christian missionaries in China to bring Christian supplies into the interior of the country. He also brought evangelism tools into these interior cities to distribute booklets into towns at night. He is now detained with his team mate Jim.

Last week the authorities have taken their passports and have told them to stay in town and have interogated them. They continue to delay and now these local authorities want money from them. They drove Jerry to two banks to have him withdraw funds. He has not done so and the authorities are frustrated. They will be meeting tomorrow to determine what to do. Sounds like a local corrupt shakedown. Please pray for Jerry and Jimmy. Jim is the 14 year old son of Cal Zastrow who is on the trip but leading another team. They are safe, housed in a hotel but are not allowed to leave and now it seems the authorities are seeking to intimidate in the hopes of getting some dough from “wealthy Americans”. Which Jerry is not. His treasures are heavenly and stored there.

Pray against intimidation, corruption and that God will use this time in the lives He desires to touch in China.

Pray for Jerry’s wife Terry who is home.

Pray for a quick release. Jerry is scheduled to fly home Dec. 23rd.

Mike Warren

Merry Christmas!

We pray this newsletter finds you and your family well and prepared for Jesus to do an extraordinary work in your hearts this Christmas season.  God knows, we are longing for the comfort and assurance that all can still be well when the Word of God becomes flesh; just as it did so magnificently and so graphically in the person of a little baby boy, born in a manger, in a little town called Bethlehem.  Thank God the theology of heaven came to this earth and became biography in the flesh.  We are not alone – God is with us!

You can find the 2012 Bible Reading Schedule here.  To allow the heart of God to be poured into your very own, is the finest gift we could ever place in your hands.  If you would like to make copies and share the Bible Reading Schedule with others you will find it here on our website.

Also, you will find a brochure put together by brother Rusty Thomas calling us to five regional events taking place in five different states next year.   Each of these states has only one remaining free standing abortion mill.  The campaign is called “Operation – First Abortion Free State” or “States of Refuge.”  What would happen if God, through His church, would bring us one abortion-free state in America?  Would it not send a message to His church across the nation that the battle for the lives of preborn children can be won as we allow the theology of the church house to become biography at the gates of hell?

In the same way that Jesus rescued us, we are called to rescue those who are perishing.  We must allow the theology of the church house to become biography in the streets.  The Word of God must become flesh.  It is the Christmas miracle all over again.  Jesus is our hope.  Any great work we attempt to do for Him but without His presence and direction is doomed to fail.

The saints in Mississippi provided God an opportunity to do this very thing in November, 2011, as they unsheathed the Sword of the Spirit via the “Personhood Amendment” or “Amendment 26.”   They worked so hard and were so full of hope.  They got over 349,000 votes and would have won the battle, had it not been for the “pro-life industry.”

That’s right!  The National Right to Life, the Catholic Bishops, and “pro-life” Governor Haley Barbour all opposed the “Personhood Amendment.”  They agreed that “Personhood” was their ultimate goal, but it was not the right time and the wording was too strong.  The Word of God – too strong?

The pro-life industry, just like the abortion industry, will do all in its power to maintain itself.  The abortion industry is honest enough to come right out and say that a woman’s right to choose eclipses a child’s right to live.  The pro-life industry, however, says it is doing all it can to save preborn children and then deliberately sabotages the only piece of legislation that stands forthrightly upon the Word of God, declaring all children “Persons” from biological beginnings.  Why?  Because the Pro-life industry is far more concerned with self-preservation than the preservation of those it is sworn to protect.

Isn’t it amazing how the heart of Christmas reveals to us how the battle is to be won?  Merry Christmas to all, and to all – “All is well!”

You will enjoy this great victory in Saginaw written by our good friend and faithful warrior for the souls of men and the lives of preborn babies – Cal Zastrow.  Here it is!

This little video snippet (here via Godtube) expresses beautifully God’s love through a mother who chose to lay her life down that her child might live. This is what godly mothers have done throughout the centuries. This is what our mothers do for us every day. Dying daily. This is God’s way. And boy does it teach.

The “Life of the mother” exception clause (if the mother’s life is in danger, then you can kill the baby) is a terrible lie, authored by the devil himself.  It was given to us by the National Right to Life to make Christians appear more compassionate in their stand for life.

Rape, incest, life of the mother gives us no right and no license to deliberately take the life of a preborn child. ~ Flip
