AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 8, 2019 /Christian Newswire/ — On June 17, 2018, Jeremiah Thomas, a terminally ill teenager, was granted his dying wish to talk with Texas governor Greg Abbott on the phone to ask him to end abortion in Texas.

On the call, Jeremiah told Governor Abbott, “We just want you to treat abortion like an act of murder and it should be punished by law. For my wish, I just wanted to say that to you… I think we could rally with Texas, and we could end abortion here and now. Because, at least for me, this would make my wish complete before I pass.”

Governor Abbott replied, “Your wish is on the Republican Party platform positions, and it’s what we’re going to be pursuing this next legislative session. And that is to outlaw abortion altogether in the State of Texas, and so your wish is granted.”

The day before the governor’s promise, the Republican Party of Texas had readopted a plank to its platform which it had first adopted in 2016: “We call upon the Texas Legislature to enact legislation stopping the murder of unborn children and to ignore and refuse to enforce any and all federal statutes, regulations, executive orders, and court rulings that would deprive an unborn child of the right to life.” A proposition to abolish abortion also received the support of over 68% of Republican voters in last year’s primaries.

After Governor Abbott made his promise, videos of it went viral, gaining coverage by Fox News, the Daily Signal, Live Action, and many others.

Jeremiah Thomas died of cancer two months after the governor’s promise. Now, the legislative session in which Governor Abbott promised Jeremiah he would be pursuing to outlaw abortion altogether in Texas begins today, Tuesday, January 8.

To carry on the legacy of their son, Jeremiah’s parents have produced a video and thousands of Texans watching it are signing a petition to join Jeremiah’s wish by urging Governor Abbott to keep his promise by making abolishing abortion an emergency item for the legislature. At the request of Jeremiah’s parents, the petition is hosted by Abolish Abortion Texas.

This is the day. Now is the time. We need all hands on deck. With all dispatch, it is time to take what God has set in motion through Jeremiah Thomas, our family, and ministry and take it to the next level.
Please take time to go to the website below, press on jeremiahswish.org, view the video, sign the petition, make a donation, and then spread Jeremiah’s Wish Campaign far and wide. Contact friends, family, churches, social media, email lists, and any other venues you have to help spread the vision and mission.

A promise was made by Gov. Abbott. The foundation has been laid, and we need to be careful how we build (1 Corinthians 3:10). I know with all my heart that Jeremiah did not die in vain. His life, death, legacy, and charge to Gov. Abbott and his generation was orchestrated by the Lord. He ran his lap of the race faithfully and it’s our turn now.
Let’s make sure the world knows that Texas stands on the brink of becoming the first abortion free state in America. As this takes place, let’s press on to make sure Jeremiah’s Wish is duplicated in other states as well. Keep pressing on saints to the high call and prize in Jesus’ name and thanks for honoring our son’s legacy and defending the preborn babies in Texas!

"The Church's Call to the Unborn"

Posted by Ken Valencia Peters on Monday, December 24, 2018

We spoke recently and he has agreed, along with other pastors in the area, to head up OSA’s national campaign of doing “church plants” at the gates of hell throughout America.

It is time for pastors to reach pastors and call the salt out of the shaker, the light from under the bushel, and storm the gates of hell. They will not prevail against the obedient church of the living God. If you know of pastors, churches, and Christian leaders that might be interested in joining the church plant movement, Church Arise: Operation Save America, please contact this dear pastor in Jesus’ name!

He has agreed to come to our OSA Leadership Meeting in Jackson, MS to share on this important Kingdom mission from Jan.20th-23rd, 2019.

Christmas Eve Testimony:

On Christmas Eve, which is the most blessed night for the Thomas Nation out of the entire year, we gathered to feast, to share gifts, talents, and testimonies of God’s goodness in and through our family and ministry. No sooner did we begin to say goodbye and hug, our daughter Destiny, got this text.

She immediately shared it with the entire family. This is from a lady we got to prayer for a couple of months ago as she was going through a very tough time. God, once again, brought beauty from ashes. Glory to His Holy Name!

BTW, as you read this testimony keep in mind what Jeremiah shared before he passed to glory. He said, “if my suffering, pain, and death led to just one soul getting saved or one life spared from abortion, it would be all worth it to me.” We serve a God that does exceedingly, abundantly, above all we ask or think.

“Wanted to share something very personal with you. When we found I was pregnant again, there were so many emotions. Most of me was so excited and so happy… the other part was full of fear and worry… worry about my weight…fear of what people would say, especially, my mom. The fear brought great depression.

At one point, it got so bad I went to what I thought was an abortion clinic. Am I a woman of God? Very much so, but I let fear cripple me. When I walked in, they were playing Christian music and I was taken back a little with conviction… deep down I knew I couldn’t do it. I began thinking about your brother (Jeremiah), his passion and his final wish.

As they called me back, she sat me down to speak to me and gave me 2 verses. The first was Jeremiah 29:11 and the other I can’t remember the exact Scripture. I have it at home. The other Scripture was also in Jeremiah. I began to cry and to tell her that I wanted to keep the baby and wanted to be happy, regardless, of how people felt and I knew this was of God.

When we found out it was a boy, I always thought of the name Josiah since I was little. Besides, our last 3 children have J names. But the other night, I didn’t feel Josiah was the right name anymore. I believe the Lord put on my heart Jeremiah for so many reasons. Biblically, the certain verses communicated to me, and the legacy of your brother convinced me to rename my child. Our baby boy will be Jeremiah.”

One of our Operation Save America leaders in Jackson, MS, Coleman Boyd, was recently arrested at the infamous Pink House, the last remaining surgical death camp in the state of MS.

There have been many battles fought through the years over a long train of abuses suffered at the hands of the Jackson Police department. They remain at the beck and call of this death camp. They provide personal security with our tax dollars on the behest of those who slay the innocent for blood money.

In God’s providential timing, this is happening right before our scheduled OSA leadership meeting in Jackson from Jan. 20th-23rd. Put your seat belts on folks, it looks like we will have an “Unwelcome Committee” waiting for us.

This is the report from our local OSA leader, Pastor Doug Lane, giving the clarion call to fellow pastors to not be intimidated, but keep storming the gates of hell. They will not prevail against the obedient church of the living God.

Please lift up the Boyd family in this situation and pray for our leadership meeting as well. Thanks!

Dear Fellow Pastors,

Wednesday, December 19, Dr. Coleman Boyd, M.D., an elder in one of our local churches, was arrested outside of Mississippi’s last abortion clinic.

Dr. Boyd was charged with simple assault. One niece and one nephew of Dr. Boyd were also charged with simple assault. The charge of simple assault does not require any physical contact and we know of none.

Since no information was given as to who filed the charges or why, we are left to “speculate.” On Thursday, November 29, 2018, I was approached by two JPD officers after they had been called to the “clinic” by clinic workers. They informed me that the abortionist, Sacheen Carr-Ellis from Massachusetts, had “felt” intimidated” by a conversation she had that morning on the side-walk in front of the clinic with the younger Boyds. They also informed me that “they” (JPD) intended to break up this “Boyd family thing.” It is my belief that the Boyds’ arrest was a result of this incident.

Dr. Boyd and his family have been coming to the clinic for years. In the past year their concern for the pre-born has intensified. Not only have they been coming to the mill more often, but they have been bringing others with them. The results have been “phenomenal.” Almost every week we are seeing abortion bound moms change their minds about aborting their children. This is a result of conversations with the Boyd children and other side walk counselors. Because of the increased number of Christians on the sidewalk, many women are not even turning into the clinic but simply driving by. We believe this is the “real” reason for their arrest.

It is obvious to us that this “attack” on Dr. Boyd is meant to scare off Christians who would dare to “speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves” at the abortion clinic, and not only that, but to smear Dr. Boyd’s reputation and to destroy his career.

We cannot allow this “attack” to go unanswered. Therefore, I am asking that you consider joining us at Mississippi’s last abortion clinic on the mornings of Thursday, December 27 and/or Friday, December 28. We must show that Christians will not be intimidated by this abuse. The clinic is located at the corner of State St. and Fondren Place in Jackson. Dr. Boyd, family, and friends intend to be there. The clinic will be seeing abortion bound moms those two days. I plan on being there by 7:30 both days. Hope to see you there.

Here is the new book cover for our latest work Raising Godly Children in a Godless Age.

To whet your appetite here are a couple of snippets from Pastor Matt Trewhella’s fantastic Forward.

Zimmerman concluded that the tipping point for when civilizations or societies begin to destroy themselves is when the people no longer want to have children.

Zimmerman points out that the reason “not wanting children” is the tipping point where cultures begin their slide to destruction is because when men want to be husbands and fathers and women want to be wives and mothers – it produces in people virtue. But when men don’t want to be husbands and fathers and women don’t want to be wives and mothers – it produces within people vice.

The laws and policies of American governments – and all the West for that matter – are decidedly against families.

And every good statist knows that in order to strengthen the state, you must weaken the family.

Governments have learned that the more sexually licentious a people become, the more easily they are controlled politically.

American Christianity has also long bought into the lie of feminism and gender egalitarianism and is now busy rewriting 2000 years of biblical interpretation in order to accommodate itself to homosexual acts.

In other words, American Christianity has decided rather than confront the idols and thinking of the world it will confirm the idols and thinking of the world.

Most people have no understanding of family because they have embraced the hologram-family of American society. Rusty Thomas will give you the presuppositions for biblical thinking concerning family and he will give you practical application to build and strengthen your family in a wise and godly manner. He has lived it.

May Christ be praised in the earth!

“I remember a great man coming into my house, at Waltham, and seeing all my children standing in the order of their age and stature, said, “These are they that make rich men poor.” But he straight received this answer, “Nay, my lord, these are they that make a poor man rich; for there is not one of these whom we would part with for all your wealth.”

Announcement:

With everything else going on, I managed to complete the rough draft of our new book today, Raising Godly Children in a Godless Age. It was my son, Micah Samuel Thomas along with the Benham Brothers, David and Jason Benham who encouraged me to persevere and write it. Pastor Matt Trewhella has graciously agreed to write the forward. That, in and of itself, should be the price of admission.

Soon, it will be made available as an unpublished publication. My goal is to have it be a part of our leadership packet at our OSA Leadership Meeting, Jan. 20th in Jackson, MS.

Afterwards, I’ll be looking to get it officially published. If any of you have suggestions that will help accomplish that goal, please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thanks!

This is from a Christian young man in Florida who joined us in the battle recently. His name is Mauricio Belgrano. God is calling him to enter the fray. Please pray for him and his budding family as they cross the line of obedience to take on Satan’s crown jewel, child sacrifice and the shedding of innocent blood.

So, once again the failed strategy of the Church and the pro-life movement comes to light. The newly constituted Supreme Court under Republican control sides with Planned Parenthood. The Supreme Court will keep our tax dollars flowing into their baby-murdering political machine. The Oligarchy refuses to even allow states to defund Planned Parenthood.

For 46 years and counting we keep giving millions of dollars, wasting countless man hours, and expending huge amounts of political capital and give this to pro-life/pro-family groups. They in turn use this to influence the GOP to get the right president, right congress, and right Supreme Court justices to overturn Roe and begin the process to end the holocaust.

Since the beginning of Roe, the Republicans have enjoyed the majorities on several occasions, and yet the long awaited promise of victory escapes the pro-life movement. We keep snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

This strategy has failed time and again and yet the church and the pro-life movement will not abandon it. Someone described insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results.

Folks, this is why we keep beating the drum that we are on a pro-life hamster wheel that has been bottlenecked by the tyrant, the Supreme Court. This unholy alliance must be broken up. It is a broken cistern that simply cannot hold the waters of reformation that is needed and necessary to end the holocaust.

I adjure you by all that you hold sacred to abandon this failed strategy and come join the abolition movement. We are not here to regulate baby murder, we are here to end it! We are not hear to plead the case of the fatherless, we are here to plead it to win it (Jeremiah 5:28).

Please watch this video, get educated and join the battle with the truth that passes Biblical muster, historical muster, and Constitutional muster in Jesus name!

RPT Presentation

At the 2018 RPT convention, attorney Bradley Pierce was invited to give testimony before the Legislative Priorities committee regarding abolishing abortion in Texas. In this video, Bradley clearly lays out the duty of the state to protect all life and the failures of the last 45 years of legislating abortion. He argues that where the courts have ignored the constitution, we as a state ought to ignore the courts. This video offers 12 minutes of rock-solid arguments for this cause.
