The saints in Central Florida have called and asked for our help.  Jay Rogers and Dr. Pat McEwen have invited us to Kissimmee, Florida, to allow the theology of heaven to become biography in the streets of Kissimmee, this June 11-14, 2014.  We will begin with a rally on Wednesday evening, June 11, and depart Saturday afternoon, June 14, 2014.

Personhood is simply the unsheathing of the Sword of the Spirit – God’s Word!  To most it appears as just an ordinary sword, another piece of pro-life legislation, but to those who see, it is not ordinary at all.

Personhood Ohio Threatening to End Abortion Statewide by 2015

ZANESVILLE, Ohio, March 24, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ — Personhood movements are gaining momentum in several states, posing a major threat to legal abortion this year.

President of Georgia Right to Life Dan Becker was featured at Cleveland Right to Life’s annual conference, where he spoke on Personhood. He received a standing ovation after his lecture and volunteers gathered over 1,400 signatures for the Ohio Personhood Amendment and gave away hundreds of petitions.

Historically, Personhood movements and large pro-life groups like Cleveland Right to Life have not always walked hand-in-hand. In the 2011 campaign for Mississippi’s Personhood Amendment, the Catholic bishops were divided, with only half of them supporting the Amendment. Ohio Right to Life has not supported the Ohio Personhood Amendment and National Right to Life leaders have opposed Personhood Amendments, preferring to spend their resources regulating abortion and electing Republicans to office. In the past year, however, there appears to be a growing tsunami of support for attempts to protect every unborn child statewide in state law.

Personhood received a huge endorsement from a former Personhood opponent in North Dakota, Christopher Dodson. He is the Executive Director and General Counsel for the North Dakota Catholic Conference, the public policy voice of the Catholic bishops of North Dakota. He used to train personhood-opposing attorneys on behalf of the Catholic bishops. But not anymore.

Now, he encourages support of North Dakota’s Personhood Amendment, which will be on the ballot this November: “It gives the people of North Dakota the opportunity to decide whether the state should recognize a legal right to life for North Dakotans. A state constitutional amendment respecting the right to life is not unconstitutional. The U.S. Supreme Court has said that states may enact their own laws and constitutional provision to protect human life, including unborn human life. Nor is a state constitutional amendment respecting the right to life made moot by the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on abortion… Let’s affirm in our state constitution that which this Legislative assembly and the people of North Dakota consistently affirmed with its own laws – that every human being has a right to life that should be respected and protected to the greatest extent possible.”

Following Esq. Dodson’s lead, the Catholic bishops of North Dakota donated $100,000 to North Dakota’s Personhood campaign.

Dr. Patrick Johnston, the family physician who directs Personhood Ohio, states, “As the Catholic bishops of Ohio have discouraged signature-gathering in their churches on the basis of some of the bad arguments that the North Dakota bishops firmly reject, pray that the Ohio bishops will now be open to protecting every preborn Ohioan in state law this year.” He says that Personhood Ohio will continue to lobby pro-life groups to endorse their Personhood Amendment and help with signature-gathering. If their goal of 385,000 signatures is reached by July, the Ohio Personhood Amendment will be on the ballot in November and a simple majority vote could protect every preborn child statewide by January 1, 2015 – including children threatened by abortifacient drugs.

Certainly, if Ohio passed their Personhood Amendment, the battle would be far from over, but it would be refreshing to see opponents of abortion unify behind a two-sentence Amendment that, for once, simply expresses what they all believe: that human life begins at conception and every person should be protected by law.

Another victory at Planned Parenthood today, March 20, 2014

Rescue Rochester has begun a shift at the downtown Planned Parenthood each Thursday for the past couple of months now.  We hold, signs, pray, and preach.  Sometimes we preach to moms and dads going into the facility, sometimes to the staff, sometimes just to the wall or to ourselves.  God’s Word is powerful!  Today, just after we left, an employee came out and crossed the street to talk to a man that has been at this site for years, praying and holding a sign.  She confessed, “Adolf, thank-you for being here and praying.  Today is my last day – I’m quitting this job!”

Hallelujah!!! 

We know that God is hearing the prayers of His people and the preaching of His Word.  He watches over His Word to perform it, as it goes forth and accomplishes His purpose.  Amen and Amen…

Planned Parenthood locations, areas served sink to 40-year low

 Washington—-The latest survey of Planned Parenthood facilities in the United States shows the number of clinics and geographic areas served is the lowest number of clinics for Planned Parenthood since Roe v. Wade legalized abortion in 1973. The data was released by American Life League’s STOPP Planned Parenthood International, the nation’s leading watchdog organization on Planned Parenthood.

 “We do exhaustive research on Planned Parenthood every year,” said Jim Sedlak, vice president at ALL, the nation’s oldest Catholic pro-life group. “This marks the eighth straight year of decline in both total facilities and total affiliates. Meanwhile, taxpayer subsidies remain at record highs under the Obama administration.”

The survey found that Planned Parenthood opened 13 new facilities in 2013 and closed 48. The closures took place in 16 different states. The number has fallen from a high of 938 locations in 1995 to 872 facilities in 2005 to 695 today. About half of the locations commit surgical or medical abortions.

ALL says that the closures are not due to any single specific law or financial bill, but are part of an ever-increasing dwindling of public support for Planned Parenthood. Rob Gasper, the ALL senior researcher who conducted the survey, believes other factors are also at work. In a recent commentary, Gasper wrote:

“A look at the numbers shows a major period of decline beginning in 2007 and an acceleration in that decline in 2009. Coincidentally, two major efforts began in those two years.

“First, in 2007, 40 Days for Life launched its first national prayer and fasting effort across more than 30 states. In 2009, American Life League started the Bringing Jesus to Planned Parenthood through Mary campaign.”

Gasper continued, “The battle against Planned Parenthood is not just an earthly fight. The premise is simple. Ask for God’s help. The unmeasurable God looks to be giving us a measurable answer!”

Couple Wrecks Car in front of Houston Womens Center, Closes Facility for over an hour

Meet Krystle, who’s unfortunate turn of events one Saturday morning saved babies, and maybe even her family’s eternal fate.  She had her three children in the car with her when she had an automobile accident which totaled her family’s only working vehicle.  The accident occurred right in front of Houston Womens Clinic, which is situated on a one-way-street.  The accident caused no access to the clinic for over one hour the morning of Saturday, February 22.  She had just left the hospital down the road where her husband, Eduardo was in a post-operative room recovering from a back surgery which had caused him to be out of work for over a month.

 Praise the Lord that the Christians who minister at the sidewalk of that clinic every Saturday were there to help Krystle hold her children while the tow truck took her now unusable vehicle away.  She only had liability insurance, and the wreck was her fault, so the insurance company would not pay for the car.

In 2 days (yes you heard that right), the Houston sidewalk counselors joined together, found a car at a reasonable price, raised the money, had the car detailed, minor issues fixed, and the next Saturday presented the family with the new car you see here in the picture.  It is a PT Cruiser, and the family loves it.

This is the real Church of Jesus Christ in action, and we are so happy to report that Eduardo and Krystle are now attending church in Houston with one of the local sidewalk counselors.  Praise to King Jesus!  Their car wreck saved babies, and saved their family from an eternity without Jesus.

 Dear Friends,

 Since the OSA event in Rochester last July, Rescue Rochester has focused our Saturday morning prayer and proclamation time at Planned Parenthood in Greece, NY. Last July saints from all over the country descended on this outpost of evil, to lift up holy hands in prayer and warfare praise and preach the gospel of the kingdom toward this stronghold of blood-guilt. The next door neighbor greeted us with open arms and allowed us to stand on his property near the entrance and has continued to allow us to use this access these last months.

 Last Saturday, we took up our positions once again. However the parking lot was empty! Sometimes Planned Parenthood has scheduled training gatherings at other locations but there was something different this time.

 Posted on their door was a sign that told of the new hours. Saturdays CLOSED!; and a few other caveats were thrown in. Another sign declared that this was a Hate Free Zone, with another giving pointers how to respond to “protesters” So we take great encouragement that God is on the move at this Planned Parenthood. That the presence of Christians, standing, praying and declaring truth has an effect.There is a crack in the wall and we are thankful to our Lord Jesus for showing us this encouraging development.

 As far as we know, there are no abortion mills open on Saturdays in Rochester. So we are looking to branch out with some afternoon and evening outreaches at some of the other locations in town. Thanks for your prayers and thank-you for coming to Rochester last July to help us push against the evil wall of Child Murder in the Flower City. We remain.

Daniel and Courtney Parks, along with their six “kiddos,” have been faithful witnesses at the gates of hell here in Charlotte for several years now. Courtney is a nurse and Daniel often drives the Monroe Crisis Pregnancy Center RV and Sonogram Unit to the abortion mill on Latrobe Drive. They have been such a blessing and an incredible inspiration to all of us “street folks’ standing in the gap on behalf of Jesus and His precious preborn children.

This is Daniel’s report of what happened at Latrobe just a couple of weeks ago.

​Saturday February 22, 2014 is a day that we will remember for a long time. We encountered something that we’ve never encountered in all the years we have been ministering at the abortion mill on Latrobe Dr. in Charlotte, NC. When I arrived at the mill with the mobile ultrasound unit, Brother Flip had already met a woman named Faith. Faith explained that her daughter, who we’ll call ‘D’, was inside the abortion mill, she had changed her mind and was trying to have her decision reversed. ‘D’ was over 18 weeks pregnant and required a 2 day abortion procedure. She had come the day before, heart set on aborting the baby inside her, pulled into the driveway like so many other mothers whose hearts are set on murder, and gone inside to start the procedure. Little did she know God had other plans! Some faithful sidewalk ministers were there, one in particular, Kathy Smothers, who pleaded the case for this precious baby. ‘D’ resisted and went inside to begin the two day procedure by having laminaria inserted into her cervix to make way for the hired assassins implements of death the next day. Faith stayed outside with the other children, and while ‘D’ was inside, and Mrs. Kathy pled with her the whole time to help spare that baby’s life. Something Mrs. Kathy said to ‘D’ while they were leaving stuck in her mind and reached her heart. She asked ‘D’ to pray and ask the Lord what he would have her do. ‘D’ took this charge seriously, went home and prayed with a heavy but now soft heart. ‘D’ told us that while praying and asking the Lord what to do she felt the baby moving around and kicking, her heart completely shifted, and she knew she couldn’t end this life inside of her! Instead of a hardened heart set on death, she now had a softened heart set of life, desperate to save her little one.

“D” had come back early that next morning to see about having the procedure reversed and the laminaria removed. Her mom said she was told by clinic staff that the doctor had to see her and would take it out before she could leave. Knowing how deceptive the staff at this mill can be, we implored Fatith to get ‘D’ out as soon as possible and let us help her, we didn’t want them to try and change her mind back or force the abortion on her. We told Faith to call the police if they wouldn’t let her leave. Faith assured us, ‘D’s mind was made up, she wanted to fight for this baby and she would not let them complete the abortion. Finally after Virmani arrived ‘D’ came out. She was very upset, she said they were very mean and rude and she refused to let that man (Virmani) touch her!

Thankfully the mobile ultrasound unit was there, and while we desperately tried to reach our prolife doctor, Dr. Harrison, we were able to minister to her and show her the precious baby that was still safe inside her womb. After a few phone calls by some very resourceful sidewalk counselors, we were able to reach Dr. Harrison who was able to see ‘D’ right away, he met her at a local ER and removed the laminaria himself, sparing this baby’s life.

We spoke with ‘D’ this past week and she couldn’t be more grateful that God put us in her path that day. She said that if no one had questioned her, or challenged her decision, if no one had spoken up for that baby, who knows what would have happened. And today, she still carries the baby safely in her womb!

It’s great to see in a situation like this, and many others we’ve encountered, how the body of Christ is able to come together in the many facets of Prolife ministry to help those in need and rescue the perishing. This baby’s life was spared through the efforts of Operation Save America, Cities4Life, Monroe HELP Crisis Pregnancy Center, and Dr. Matt Harrison. All are just simple Christians following the command to go!

ANOTHER TEXAS CLINIC BITES THE DUST!

“I have seen a wicked, violent man spreading himself like a luxuriant tree in its native soil. Then he passed away, and lo, he was no more; I sought for him, but he could not be found.” – Psalm 37:35,36.

Those defending the preborn in Ft. Worth, Texas saw a welcome sight in the last week of February, 2014. The West Side clinic at 2011 South Las Vegas Trail, which had killed preborn babies since the ‘80s, was up for sale! The chop shop was part of a chain of at least four clinics owned by Ft. Worth businessman Roneal Martin. But beginning about 1987, pro-life pressure from Tarrant County Pro-Life Action Network, led by Rick Horton, kept bringing help, hope, and Jesus every week to clinic customers. Lives were saved as ordinary people did simple things in the name and power of their Savior. Rick was sued at least once and was also fired from a job due to the time spent on defending the most helpless. Clinic owner Roneal Martin suffered the loss of another clinic in Wichita in the 90’s and today it is unknown if his two remaining Louisiana clinics are still open. Planned Parenthood may call pro-lifers nuts and extremists, but by losing at least two clinics to Jesus-led activists, what would clinic owner Martin call the pro-lifers? EFFECTIVE.

Three years ago Martin sold his Ft. Worth clinic to others serving Satan, but the new Texas clinic law passed last year, bringing the killing centers up to merely the standards of safety for tonsillectomies, required abortionists to have local hospital admitting privileges — and the new owners couldn’t find such people. After three months of no admitting privileges, the new owners threw in the towel. Brookes Baker, who’s been leading many Ft. Worth pro-lifers now for years, reported last week the building is vacant and up for sale or lease!

So yes, it’s often cold out there in front of clinics, local churches treat you as people who just landed from another planet, and you may seldom see any babies saved. (I’ve been there, done that.) But keep at it! “For the word of the Lord is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness.” – Psalm 33:4. And never forget — God sees what we don’t.

So often effective pro-life ministry is no more than ordinary people doing simple things. What about you? Are you an ordinary person? If you can go to a football stadium and wave a sign for your home team, can you go to a clinic and show a sign with life-saving, life changing truth? Could you do it if Jesus helped you? Yes? Well, what are you waiting for? FAITHFULNESS IS EFFECTIVE!

TN Clinic Closes

 

This legal notice from Tallahassee newspaper says it all. They are closing!! A phone call to the killing mill gave us more info. The reason for the closure is lack of staff doctors.

Remember the story in the OSA newsletter about how much a determined few can accomplish? We met Matt Ferro, a student at FSU, Tallahassee at a pro-life conference. After learning about OSA Neighborhood visits to abortionists he asked if we would join him on his first neighborhood visit. A killer doctor was hiding in plain sight in Jacksonville. None of his clients or neighbors in Jacksonville knew that he drove three hours on Sunday to kill babies in Tallahassee. Matt drove three hours to Jacksonville, three of us from Orland/Melbourne drove three hours to join him and Matt became Abortionist Todd Rasner’s worst nightmare.

The abortionist asked Matt to come into his office and talk one on one. Telling Matt that “I knew you would show up some day,” Rasner made all the excuses that pro-abortion people use for shedding innocent blood but Matt would not be moved. He stood his ground and politely but firmly reminded Rasher of how God saw abortion and asked him to please stop.

We just learned that he did stop! Abortion will end when the Church of Jesus Christ says it will end. The Church is not a building it is people – people like Matt who stand firmly on God’s word and say “No. not in my town!!” How encouraging!!
