Press Release

May 17, 2012

 For Immediate Release:

Memorial Service for the Unborn Killed In Wyoming

There is only one abortion Mill in Wyoming where children in the womb are murdered, but the blood of the innocent still flows in this land.  The death of even one child grieves the righteous God. While we are laughing, partying and singing our praises, their blood cries out to a just God who said to Babylon:

Because you rejoice and are glad,   you who pillage my inheritance, because you frolic like a heifer threshing grain and neigh like stallion your mother will be greatly ashamed; she who gave you birth will be disgraced.

We may not hear the silent scream of the child being murdered in the womb but God does.  We will memorialize the 55 million of these innocents who have died in the U.S. particularly those who died in Wyoming and cry out to God in repentance because we knew and did nothing.

What:                Memorial for Unborn killed in Wyoming

Address:         The Square, Jackson Hole Wyoming

Date:                 Friday, May 18, 2012

Time:               1:30 PM

The churches in North Carolina are rising up in Jesus’ name and giving fits to the Democratic National Convention (DNC) planning committee. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, chair lady for the DNC is apoplectic over all the things that are going wrong. Can anyone see God’s hand in this?  ~ Flip

North Carolina a political headache for Democrats

MITCH WEISS – Associated Press

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Once a bright spot for President Barack Obama, North Carolina is now more like a political migraine less than four months before Democrats open the party’s national convention in Charlotte.

The causes are plenty.

Labor unions, a core Democratic constituency, are up in arms. Democratic Gov. Bev Perdue isn’t running for re-election; Democrats say she was likely to lose. The state Democratic Party is in disarray over an explosive sexual harassment scandal. Voters recently approved amending the state constitution to ban gay marriage, a position that runs counter to Obama’s. And unemployment in the state remains persistently high.

“Nobody can sugarcoat the fact that we got problems here,” said Gary Pearce, a former Democratic consultant who was an adviser to former Democratic Gov. Jim Hunt. Pearce was referring specifically to state party woes but could have been talking about any of the troubles here for Democrats.

But, he added: “I think the greatest strength that the party has is President Obama. And he’s the thing that people will rally around.”

It wasn’t supposed to be like this – at least that was the hope – when Democrats chose Charlotte to host the national convention, where Obama will formally accept his party’s presidential nomination for a second time, Sept. 4-6.

When Democrats announced the choice in February 2011, they said selecting the Southern city signaled Obama’s intent to fight hard for the conservative-leaning state like he did in 2008. They also highlighted the economic transformation in the state and in Charlotte – from tobacco, textiles and furniture-making to research, energy and banking. Party leaders noted the state’s strong political leadership and expressed hope that a Perdue re-election bid would get a boost from the attention that would be lavished on the convention.

Now traditional Democratic Party groups are threatening huge protests in part because they’re deeply uncomfortable that the convention is being held in one of the least union-friendly states. And thousands of Democrats across the country are calling for the convention to be relocated because of the gay-marriage vote.

Democrats say that won’t happen.

“Charlotte is going to host a great convention,” insisted Mayor Anthony Foxx, who pushed to bring the event to North Carolina’s largest city.

Said Democratic National Convention in Charlotte spokeswoman Joanne Peters: “The convention is staying in Charlotte.”

Republicans point out the obvious.

“North Carolina is a mess for the Democratic Party and for President Obama,” said Republican National Committee spokesman Matt Connelly.

Four years ago, Obama became the first Democrat to carry North Carolina since Jimmy Carter in 1976. He did it by exploiting voter anger at President George W. Bush and assembling a diverse coalition of supporters, including huge numbers of minorities who had never been politically organized and young voters. State law allowed people to register to vote on Election Day, which also meant the large student vote could be tapped.

The campaign also targeted highly educated newcomers to the state.

Obama’s team has been hopeful about replicating that effort, while mindful of the new challenges confronting him here. They note that there are enough states in play that Obama can find a strategy to get the necessary 270 electoral votes to win a second term without the 15 North Carolina offers, while Republican Mitt Romney’s path to victory is more limited, meaning he’s more likely to need a victory here.

Criticism began immediately after Charlotte was announced.

Many labor leaders were upset that the convention would be held in a state that offers few protections for workers and in a city with no union hotels. While some unions plan to attend, more than a dozen trade unions are boycotting. Union protests also are planned for convention week.

But unions aren’t the only ones stirring trouble for Obama.

Politically, things are much different in the state.

State unemployment was 9.7 percent in March, well above the national average of 8.2 percent that month, and it’s much higher in some rural counties.

There’s also the fired-up Republican base that turned out Tuesday to approve the constitutional ban on gay marriage. The vote prompted more than 28,000 people to sign an online petition – by the New York-based Gay Marriage USA – to move the convention from Charlotte. Twitter also was flooded with similar sentiment from angry supporters of same-sex marriage. Obama stated his support for gay marriage a day after the vote.

Democrats want to include gay marriage in the platform to be adopted at the convention. That could create controversy at a gathering that’s intended to promote party unity by drawing attention to a divisive social issue when the economy remains the most pressing concern.

What’s more, the state Democratic Party is in disarray.

With sagging poll numbers, Perdue announced in January that she would not seek a second term. Her decision came on the heels of bruising budget battles with the GOP-controlled Legislature. Republicans in 2010 captured the Legislature for the first time in 140 years.

Then there’s the sex scandal roiling the state party.

State Party Chairman David Parker submitted his resignation Saturday, after weeks of resisting calls to resign amid complaints about his handling of sexual harassment allegations by an ex-worker against former director Jay Parmley. But party activists meeting in Greensboro on Saturday rejected Parker’s resignation, and Parker then said he would stay on the job.

Perdue and other elected Democratic officials had pressured Parker to step down, saying his presence leading the party had become a distraction. Executive Committee member Lloyd Scher said Parker did nothing wrong in following the advice of the party’s attorney in settling the allegations confidentially.

Meanwhile, the state’s former Democratic senator, John Edwards, continues to battle charges in federal court in Greensboro that he masterminded a scheme to use nearly $1 million in secret payments to help hide his pregnant mistress as he ran for president in 2008. He has pleaded not guilty in the case, which has painted an unflattering portrait of the 2004 Democratic vice-presidential nominee.

What we have know for a long time has become increasingly obvious to the enemies of our Lord and His precious children.  The National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) is losing its national leader Nancy Keenan because she was not able to stir up excitement in young people to be pro-abortion.  If you haven’t noticed, abortion mills across this nation are shutting their doors for good, and there are very few young people coming out in support of killing children.  Most of the women who do come out are old, mean, bitter, and ugly.  They are ugly, not because of any physical deformity, but because they hate God and their hearts are filled with spiders and snakes.  The generation coming behind us is overwhelmingly pro-life.  Here’s the story via cbn.com.

Incredible News in from Orlando, Florida!  James Scott Pendergraft is about to have his medical license permanently suspended by the Florida Department of Health.  This is huge blow to the entire abortion industry in the state of Florida.  Remember, we were privileged to sit in on his trial during our National Event in Orlando this past July.  You were faithful to bring Christ right to the gates of hell.  Please notice –  THEY ARE NOT PREVAILING!  All to the Glory of God. Click here for the article.     ~ Flip

We have now given the city of Jackson,Wyoming, the reason for our return to the gates of hell May 16-20, 2012. Here is the ad in the Jackson Hole Daily’s newspaper.  ~ Flip

“It saddens our hearts that the Boy Scouts of America, of which I am one, cannot attend their annual “Elkfest” in Jackson Hole this year because parents are concerned about a sin in this city that the eyes of their Boy Scouts might see.  It is agonizingly hard to cover up the murder of little children when you have gentle Christians bringing this grotesque sin to light in the streets.

“If something is so ugly that we don’t want our children to see it, perhaps we ought to stop doing it!” Read it here via planetjh.com ~ Flip

Missionaries to the Preborn came out to the gates of hell in Fargo, North Dakota, following our guys who did Word and Warfare the week before.  All hell broke loose and all heaven came down as the theology of heaven became biography in the streets of Fargo.  Below are some news stories that will encourage your heart.

Enjoy! ~ Flip

I had the privilege to meet up with the Missionaries to the Preborn and do a little street preaching with them before the flight back home yesterday. Their phase of the States of Refuge campaign has rocked Fargo ND’s world. The news coverage is just what happened on the streets. It does not cover what happened at the abortion mill today. About 25-30 deathscorts came out to defend the place of death. Cops were everywhere. After all, it is a crime scene. The saints lined the streets to expose the hidden works of darkness. They preached, prayed, praised, and confronted the merchants of death with the truth and love of Christ.

It is so exciting to see the States of Refuge take off in earnest. The wave after wave affect is in full swing. Keep praying, participating, and supporting this vision and mission as we trust God for the first abortion free states in America. The following brief message and links to the news coverage is from Pastor Matt Terwhella.

Missionaries to the Preborn

May 2nd, 2012

Dear Friends of the Preborn,

All praise and honor be unto our Savior and King, Jesus Christ!

Here is some of the press coverage from our team’s efforts yesterday. We thank the Lord when we get news coverage because it takes our efforts beyond the streets we stand on and into thousands of homes! Much of this coverage was picked up by other news agencies and broadcast in other parts of North Dakota besides Fargo where they were.

The team is spending a second day in Fargo today. This morning they are outside the deathcamp itself. [As a sidenote: Jason Storms charges from Monday in Sioux Falls is NOT a ticket but a state misdemeanor – please keep that situation in prayer.]

Cal Zastrow writes about the “Spring of life” that took place in Buffalo, New York, during the Spring in April 1992.  It was here that God did a great work with several thousand gentle Christian warriors laying their lives and freedoms down that their little baby brothers and sister in the womb might have life.  One hundred and ninety-seven men were arrested and it was there, in jail, that the best “Christian Retreat Ever” took place.

The Best Christian Retreat Ever (for the 197 men present).

by Cal Zastrow on Thursday, April 19, 2012

I’ve been to lots of Christian retreats, meetings, and Bible college chapels. Today marks the twentieth anniversary of the the best one I’ve ever been to. Others who were there have said likewise, that it was the best. It was the beginning of the Spring of Life ministry event in Buffalo, New York. Several thousand pro-life Christians gathered to pray and obey the commands of King Jesus to love our neighbors as ourselves. We didn’t just talk or pray about babies being murdered by butchers, we went and stopped them. We Rescued.

The historic Christian doctrine of interposition is to protect innocent people from harm by nonviolently placing ourselves between the intended harm and those people. We didn’t just write position papers against child-sacrifice, we went and peacefully sat in front of the doors of the killing centers and prevented them from slaughtering children. I’ve never felt more like a follower of Christ in my life than when actually acting like Him, interposing and preventing the murder of babies who were scheduled to die. Other Rescuers have expressed similar experiences.

In April of 1992, there were six surgical abortuaries in Buffalo killing thousands of preborn babies yearly. Plus, the big babies got murdered weekly in Children’s Hospital. The number of surgical abortuaries in Buffalo is down to one, and Children’s Hospital stopped killing many years ago.

The baby-murderers were upset by their lack of “business.” They had the police arrest us and throw us in jail. I never did find out how many women Rescuers were arrested, but 197 men were arrested together. A few of the police beat , stepped on, dragged, or choked some of us. Most of us spent the next twenty-four days incarcerated together. Before farming us out to multiple jails and prisons, we all spent the first nine days in the aesbestos-filled dungeon of the Niagara Street Armory.

It wasn’t the fancy food, professional program, or ample accomodations that made our retreat together so memorable. It was the power of the Holy Spirit that strengthened us while we suffered together. When the sadistic policeman, Captain Vaughan, locked us out of the bathrooms for hours, we worshipped Jesus. When the guards taunted and threatened, we worshipped Jesus. Through the lack of sleep, abundance of dust, and other bad conditions, we praised our glorious King. Singing “All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name” in the face of demonic tyrants does something powerful for men.

None will forget the foot-washing service, Johnny Hunter’s sermon, Chet Gallagher’s testimony, or the styrofoam-cup-cross. THe move of the Spirt of God, the Revival that happened in Buffalo, changed me, changed others. There was no turning back to only safe church activities while the slaughtering of babies continued. One of the meekest among us was old Frank Sync. My cot was next to his for the first eight days. After landing in Normandy and defeating the Nazis through Europe, he rescued Jews from death camps while in the U.S. Army. I was honored to be in his presence. Young and old, we bore our imprisonment. We were Rescue brothers, jail brothers. I never saw one act of selfishness the entire time from any of the men. We shared the few Bibles we had smuggled in (until the Gideons were allowed in later). We shared our lousy food, limited water, and our lives. Some men suffered also by losing jobs, having family members turn against them, and churches disown them for carrying the Cross. We encouraged one another. All we had was Jesus. We found out, He was all we needed. Being “pro-life” is socially and religiously acceptable, but actually stopping baby-murder through peaceful interposition, that was misunderstood by many. The “many” who think that this American holocaust will end from their comfortable offices and church buildings are woefully mistaken. The killing will stop when the Church of Jesus Christ comes out to the streets and stops it. The question is not, “What will this cost me?” The question is: “What will it cost me to disobey Christ’s command to love my neighbor as myself?

None of my four children were born before I Rescued in Buffalo, but they all have memorized the two new verses to an old hymn that were written and sung in jail there:

Stand up, stand up for Jesus, ye soldiers of Rescue
Abortion murders babies, and sometimes women too
Ye that believe in Jesus, interpose in the babies’ place
And if He finds you faithful, then you will see His face.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus, ye prisoners of Rescue
Let us look unto our Savior, His trial was unjust too
May we reflect your glory while we’re behind these bars
We worship You King Jesus, the One who bears our scars.

When the peaceful Rescue movement started, there were over 2,000 surgical abortuaries in America. Today, there are less than 700. Yes, we should pray that they close, but we should also go close them down.

Cal Zastrow and about 15 gentle warriors for our King stormed the gates of hell once again – this time at a golf and country club.  Hallelujah!  Wherever the battle for the lives of baby boys and girls manifests itself, there the Church of Jesus Christ should be.  ~ Flip
